She soon fell asleep herself and strangely after all that happened, it was a peaceful slumber.
Devana had arrived in his dimension and her arm was wrapped in a cast that was in a sling around her neck. She had managed to disguise herself as a human and go to a clinic that was in the city without people giving her hassle.

he turned to her and looked at her. he seen the cast and was not impressed. "what happened? did you kill her?"

She still wasn't happy about what happened and didn't understand what even happened. "Don't you figure that's not what happened? I had the perfect oppurtunity, but I suppose that a little girl had more fight in her than I expected."

he glared at her and by this, knew what had happened. "you are given the perfect oppurtunity and you still manage to screw it up? by a little girl no less?"

She glared back at him and spit at his feet. "Shut up, Zangan. The girl got some sort of... Strength. I have no idea what it was, but she was able to break my arm in a second." She had never been around Smash when he used what he called the game face and did not know that this little girl would have it. She just thought she was small and helpless.

he point at her and still glared at her. "i know perfectly well what it was. all i care about right now is that you didn't cut your end of the deal. if you can't kill her then i'll be forced to, regardless of how bad you want revenge."

She threw her healthy hand in the air and gave a sort of half-shrug. "Well, I need time until my arm is healed. I'll be out of commission for at least a month. Stupid human told me three, but I heal fast unlike those scum."

This now confused her. First he was mad that she let a child get the better of her, but now he was understanding? He was still ticked, of course, but not as much as before. "What is that child capable of? You're not telling me something, Zangan."

he sat down on his chair and looked up at her. "that human, smash. he has this power called the "game face". it raises his strength dramatically, but it's like a breserker sort of thing. that power must have been passed down to that child."

She took a seat and leaned back, crossing her legs. Her eyes stayed on him in the form of a small glare. "I see. So nice of you to inform me now."

"Like I want to pay attention to those vile beings." She cracked her neck and gave a sigh after doing so. She didn't look as beautiful as she once did. Insanity seemed to strip people of their looks. She was still pretty, but not as stunning as she used to be.

She glared and looked away. "I had everything set for my life. I was going to be a queen and had that idiot wrapped around my tiny finger. I even got her out of the way, but she tricked me. That shrew got the upper hand on me. Me of all people. I was imprisoned, but escaped. Not like I could stay in Angelicus, though. She took power, wealth, and my home from me in one goddamn night."
