I always make a post in the docks when I switch from village to village in the Hidden Federation. And I only train in one village at a time.

Lo I've waited this quarter day
yet my rival has not made her play.
So I'll go offline and return later on,
in the hopes there will be a new move to reflect upon.
Until then I'll be reading up on new strategies,
in the hopes that I'll find an idea to please
my card-flopping muse;
hopefully I won't lose.

You don't have to use the docks when traveling from village to village in federation. You just have say that you are leaving to go to another village so it doesn't seem like your staying in one village the whole time and do like some people and put the village above or below their post in the village
