*finally gets online*
Sorry I'm a little behind, everyone--it's been one crazy weekend. Must be the Spring weather.
On Friday, we had some of the first tornados of the season blow on by us. Then on Sunday, my little sister managed to get no less then two fractures in her ankle. So there was the rush to the emergency room, and she had to stay home on Monday...
... And of course, I have trouble getting on during weekends anyways, so I wound up doing some much needed yardwork instead. Thanks to my diligent efforts the backyard is half-filled with dead brush and sticks by now, and the lawn is about the same size as the house! O_o

Just now getting them? XD We've had... two in the last month or so and I'm in TN. We never get them out where I live in TN. XD
How'd she manage to do that? >.o
And at least you didn't miss anything... guild's been semi-dead with so much paused because of Vald's net being cut.

And at least you didn't miss anything... guild's been semi-dead with so much paused because of Vald's net being cut. Well, I live in Illinois, so we're kind of on the upper end of tornado alley. Fortunately it seems like most of them petter out before they make it this far. Though we did have a set of tornados late this winter, oddly enough...

Yea... I did an extra-credit project fro my Greek Myth class. I ended up putting together this HUEG covering the whole wall family tree in the class room. >> It was easy to see how bad they were at screwing their own siblings and such.. Like Zeus was Hurceles grandfather as well as something else. X.x It was strange... but yea... Cainites and Drow are bad on it. XD I wonder if that's why drow are so pissy all the time? Or if that explains the bi-polar that runs through Brujah? XD

Rawr... now for me to rant and try to get someone's opinion/view on things...
Work's been making me think.. and realize that as much as I LOVE working with children, I couldn't handle working at a daycare for too much longer... nor can I make a living off of $6 an hour. X.x That's $0.15 over what minimum wage is, because the owner's greedy. I do know I love working with children..and I think I could handle doing it as a profession as a teacher. It is a lot of stress working as a teacher... but couldn't be much more stressful working at the daycare for like a third or fourth what I'd be paid as a teacher? The problems now... I'd probably go in for elementary school, but there's not that many elementary schools around where I live, so I may end up stuck without an actual teaching job even after I got my license... X.x And that it'll be AROUND $55,000 to get my schooling complete. I have a little college already, but unless I can get that damn bill taken care of (I refuse to pay for something I didn't get), I cannot get my credits from then and I don't know if those credits will even count towards a B.A/S in Education. x.x I know though, I can get scholarships and grants to pay for a good bit of that amount, but I'd still have more student loans to take care of after I get out of college. And with raising a small child... do I do online classes IF I can find an online college I like, or do I try to commute between home, work and school? X.x
I wouldn't be starting back for at least another year... but it's something to think about and rant on. XD;;

Honestly, if you're planning on working as a teacher because you'll get paid more, you need to step back and think about whether or not it's worth it. YOU might not have been a nasty kid, but think of all the hell the kids put the teacher through. And then you have to realize the whole grading and proofreading every. Single. Assignment. It just isn't worth it, and if you were smart you'd never want to work the little shits full-time.

When I took my level 3 to get qualified for kiddy care, my company paid out for me to do it. To do my level FOUR, Id have to pay and I cant justify the massive cost against ho little extra I'd end up earning. But I DO recommend you get at least level 3 qualified in childcare if you DONT go for a TEACHER qaulification.

Loke - XDD I've done that before, when I was in Driver's Ed? Like half of my semester in that class was spent as a teacher's aid for my English Honor's Teacher. I was the one that was doing all the "dirty" work; typing up the week's schedule, printing out papers, grading, passing out things, etc. I didn't mind it, it wasn't hard and I was grading stuff for 11th grade English, and I've done grade books before, too. Besides if I teach, it'll be for (most likely) elementary not sure which grade in it though...
Roan - I'm suppose to have some qualification work that I was suppose to do when I first started. Daycare pays for it, but it's like a 4-5 weekends in a role thing and THEY have to pay for it. So of course the greedy woman isn't pressing me to do it. I'm gonna laugh my a** off when someone comes in to inspect and asks if I've been qualified. XDD My first-aid and CPR is even expired and they know it! I don't know where to go and if I can get it for free or if I have to ask them to get me sent somewhere. >.<
