His wing was duly pulled out as far as it would go, probably a little uncomfortably so, and she was leaning over it, supporting herself with her hands as she seemed to be going over his wings with keen eyes, poking at where feathers left flesh and what not. "And what if, hypothetically, I would suddenly not want to come back to the Underdark?" One confrontation she didn't want to confront at all. "I mean you're right about him, down here...he's better. He'll leave the house, he's willing to wander around...though yes he's a bit more paranoid. But he's like that topside anyway. Just as I would stay down here to make him happy...he may want to stay up there to make me happy. But he wouldn't be himself at all." Hm the surface still held a bit of temptation for her didn't it? Not that she would outright admit it. Though she did give into his little observation about Malik having a smug moment. "Put my circlet on and I can go where ever with whom ever...yes I'm sure he would get a kick out of it, but it would only last for so long." A poke at his feathers again. "Are you pulling some of these before they're ready?"
Oh that was postitively irritating. "Bottom line...if this Kimmuriel is so called 'jealous' of me, because of you I might add and our 'closeness' then you will do well to tell him to leave me alone with his tendencies for he has little to no reason to even begin feeling that way, especially over you and the time we spend together." Yes he was down right pissed. Sevilin after all had more of less left to get rid of the bulk of confrontation and here was more of it...because of her.

She smirked, "You know I never pinned you for unintelligent but you really can't grasp simple concepts can you?" A shake of her head before she continued with the tapping. "It doesn't matter what I say to him, he's going to do what he wants to do. Kimmuriel goes his own way and to hell with anyone who thinks he should do otherwise. I could tell him until my skin became as blue as Malik's and it wouldn't make a difference." She leaned back in her chair and watched him closely. "Of course I could tell him that we were drugged and slept together but somehow I think that will only make the situation more volatile. Another shrug. "If you want him off your back, tell him yourself. I'm not your messenger girl." Then a dig at him just because he was being such a b*****d, "Besides, I thought you refuse to let a woman do anything for you. You're not controlled by them nor do you let them delve into your affairs. This is your fight, right? Then why are you asking me to handle your problem? Can't take care of it yourself?"

"Do anything for me? You know not how my mind works." Oh look, she thought she was a little smart a**, and oh the narrowing of those red eyes as she mentioned the...incident...as he was deeming it. The tragic, horrible, stupid, should be flogged for incident. "Maybe I should just throw you to the wolves then, if he wants you, why not give him to you as an offering to keep him off my back. Yes, that sounds right nice. Dress you up all pretty, maybe put a festive bow on you, tie you up with ribbon...a right fine appeasment offer." Said as he stepped around the table and started more or less stalking toward her as he spoke, with that sadistic 'I'm really going to do it' look. "Yes, that would be me taking care of my own problem, now wouldn't it?"

Cedric listen closely to what Malik was saying, and then replied. "I do not really know Kimmuriel more than to see him, and remember how he killed my teacher. You would be better off to request such things from Aella or even Meilikki than to do so of me."
"You never really seemed like the kind of person who would need a surprise to live, or that part of your personality is merely a carry over from being drow." Cedric said with a rather cryptic tone.
"Then again, how can I say that when I wont even tell you about my powers in a straight fasion, as I guess you supose that I may consider you my enemy, probably unjustly." Cedric looked about the room for a moment, and then walked to a nearby table, and picked up the candle stick that was sitting upon it. He held it out before him, and tilted his head slightly. The candle stick was illuminated by flames, that were not consuming the item. "From this display, I imagine you can figure out the just of my skills, and measure my strength." The flames disappeared.

"Oh I think I do..you are horribly transparent after all Sevilin." A little thrill raced down her spine as he began to stalk towards her though she merely straightened her spine and refused to let any emotion show on her face. Just remained right where she was watching him. He had that gleam in his eyes, the kind that meant he was about to do something she probably wouldn' t like. But he could attempt to wrap her up and put a bow on her all day long, maybe she'd even let him. She'd have to wait and see, depended entirely on her mood. "Well, you could but I really don't think you'd achieve what you're setting out to. What fun is it for him if you give me up willingly? He'd much rather come in and snatch me away to get a reaction out of you. After all, if it's given to you it takes all the enjoyment out of the game. Kimmuriel thrives on games, you have to learn that. Giving me to him would only anger him and cause you more problems. Time to come up with a new plan, hmm Sev?"

As he walked he laid fingers to the table and a familar shift in the air took place. "Well then I'll be sure to oh...I don't know...perhaps put you in mortal danger. I could care less his opinion of me...drow just want to get what they want, by any means necessary...if something is thrown out like the trash...well less work for them. He may very well appreciate the gesture." A series of runes on the table being trailed, before he clenched his hand and her forehead crew hot and he pulled his arm back slightly. "Besides...I think you being virtually at his mercy would be amusing enough...proud Zahara." And she would be feeling something more or less sliding against her legs, indeed like a silk ribbon, but there was no sight for the source of the feeling. "I'll just make a game out of throwing you out, and you the prize."

"I was already in mortal danger before, almost cut down before everyone...yet I wasn't." She felt the shift, knew exactly what it meant but was helpless to really do anything to counter or stop it. The one thing that had forever annoyed her, he had a weapon to use against her and she had nothing at all that could stop him. Dammit. And it also appeared that her attempts to turn him off his way of thinking really weren't working either. Her forehead grew hot and she slapped a hand over that rune there, narrowing her eyes at him before dropping her hand and just glaring. "You seem to have your thinking all wrong Sevilin," she said in a lethal voice. "I am neither trash nor your little plaything." She twitched at the feel of silk on her legs, glancing down then back at him. "Cease this immediately." Though the anger was mellowed slightly and her lips twitched, "You don't have to make up some excuse about giving me up as a prize to play out your fantasies Sevilin. Just ask, you might be surprised what I'd be willing to try."

Malik nodded at Cedric, and gave a hint of a smile.
"occasionally, to runa good bluff, you have to be holding all the cards."
and a glance at Aella and Meilikki.
"and if you don't, I'm sure Aella will. but..I have something else to attend to. namely a female drow that needs a little more humility apparently. and I'm sure I've taken up more than enough of your visitation already with our discussion."
He gave Cedric a nod and walked from the room, and down the steps and to teh dining area where the usual duo was, and sevilin looked like he was about to do something stupid.
"Ah the lovebirds are playing again."
Though he noticed the glow on Zahara's head. must be a rune.
"And if you don't let her free of whatever your about to do, I'll have your hands broken, Sevilin. We three have something to discuss, since both of you are blatantly ignoring it and acting liek children. but before that..."
He walked over, and grabbed Zahara by the arm, jerking her out of her chair and tossing her back.
"You and I are going to have a little heart to heart."
and that was said in a very angered tone.
Onyx shook his head.
"No. I don't pull at my feathers. just wet them down and comb through them with my claws. as for Malik..if you didn't want to come back, you know good and well Malik would probably drag you back. as he loves to say, this is home. and malik doesn't abandon homes without a damned good reason to. and I don't think you just wanting to stay on the surface is good enough for him."

Cedric bowed his head, being polite if nothing else. He turned his attention to Aella. "So... That was interesting." The complicated actors within these walls could fill a library with good liturature.

"Oh but I thought you said that I didn't like women doing anything for me and you knew that because I am transparent. Yet you're asking me to stop...and speaking of yourself at my beck and call, how entincing I would find that...you've got to keep your answers straight...and who said I wanted anything from you..." A sneer, "I don't play with things like you, and fantasies are for those who are looking at somethind desirable, which you are not to me." Voice was calm, void of feeling.
That silk feeling snaked up her arms, brushing gently like a breath and nothing more...before a slight tightening feeling should of taken place, should pull her legs together and her arms to her sides as he stalked closer, then grabbed the back of her chair and turned it to the side, leaning down in front of her, his hands braced on the arms of her chair and looking at her eye level. "You're so young...and think you know so much, then you can see everything, when you can see nothing. Don't you see how easily....just how simply...I can do what I want to you? Hold you where you are...bind you against any fight you may put up? Tell me...do you think I fear you and your proclaimed actions you will take upon me should I not be compliant to your wishes? Or are you afraid of me because I am the one who will not give in at all?"
Thought the sound of Malik's voice broke into his thoughts and he straightened hisp posture, stepping back from Zahara as runes stopped what they had been doing altogether and he merely held back a glare from Malik. Bit his tongue to still the vemon lace comment that wanted to crawl up his throat and out his mouth. "We have nothing to discuss..."
"You'd be surprised what he'd do Morondo, he still surprises me from time to time." But back to feather matters, running her fingers through him, checking one wing than the other over a few times. "You just really need to calm down. And don't wet them everday...you'll wash all the oil out of them if you keep it up like that...and if you're going to dye your feathers...do be cautious of what's being used to do it." Putting her hands on his wing joints, making them flex a little and watching a moment. "You having any trouble flying?"

His voice was enough to keep her distracted, the low tones mixed with the richness of the voice itself enough to awaken her senses and cause her to listen closely to what he was saying. But even while he talked she could feel the ticklish feeling continue until her arms were feeling it as well. In no time they 'ribbons' tightened and her arms and legs were bound together by invisible threads. Shuddering lightly at the gentle touch on her skin she stiffened immediately, broken from the trance as those bonds tightened. Her mouth opened to speak, answer what he'd asked with a flippant, smartass comment but before she could the next few events took place. Havin g him so damn close was making her think things, wish things. Before she could blink, those bonds had been released and she was face to face with Malik instead, before being yanked out of her chair and shoved back, inadvertently stumbling and hitting the wall. Reaching out a hand to steady herself and regain some composure after what Sevilin had done she was a little bit slower in response than Sevilin but she echoed his words. "I have nothing to say to you and I have no desire to listen to anything you have to say either. Leave it alone Malik, it won't do you any good."

Meilikki chuckled. "That man likes to tlak almost as much as you do, Cedric. If he hadn't left, I would have feared you two would have talked me to sleep." A comment on how long they would have spoken, not how boring the subject was.
Aella coughed into her hand. "Yes. Very." be honest, she hadn't understood most of it.

"What did you learn about Malik just now, Aella?" Cedric asked her, feeling the slight loss on her part. She was without the basic elvish education in all things magical, which made her ignorant of the subject, but not necessarily stupid. Her inner turmoil could deture or weaking her basic intellegance by making her afriad to listen or to think, so she may not be wise simply because her body was trianed not to be. Thus, Cedric might as well help her to break into the creative process which was breaking down everything a drow said, and re-ordering it to find out the real meaning behind the message. Not that Malik did not talk in a direct manner, he was not afraid of the information he was giving away. This was more or less an excercise in getting Aella to open up to the world, without actually having her acknowledge that is what she would be doing.
"It was a rather informative conversation, yet held back on my end. I am going to be careful with Master D'vinn until I am more aware of his personality, personally. Elric and Celeste really could not provide a very stunning description of him. At least one that was not riddled with contempt and dislike."

"Wrong. there is plenty to discuss. starting with blame, and goign form there since you both are either to ignorant, or to damned childishly stubborn to admit certain ideas and things and it needs to be addressed."
then to Zahara, and his eyes showed near murderous intent, his right hand involutarily cleching, which made blood ooze between fingers and work it's way through bandaging in some places.
"And you. I gave you fair warning, and you chose to ignore it. So, we can either have your little heart to heart in private, or in public, that's your choice, but we are going to have one."
"It's hard to calm down. I really want Whirlwind to feel something...even if it's just somethign to get her over her past alone. she so..nervous aroudn me, she doesn't like to be hugged, or really touched. I mean..I want more than just hugging..but if nothign else she needs to learn to really live again. and I had a thirty percent chance..but thanks to my little outburst it's down to ten. now I worry that I'll do something to drop it to zero or a negative number."
A snort.
"They look dull then. adn they get dirty. I do hunt on teh ground, and it does get dirt in them. and I haven't gotten my feathers redyed in a long time. Kat is always busy working with Moonstone at his little clinic."
then a second on that last question.
"I can't get my altitude like I used to. and I have to actually use my wings more. it's difficult to just glide, even on thermal currents."

Still slightly unsteady for the time being she held onto that chair and for all outward appearances looked entirely unruffled. She raised an eyebrow at Malik and shook her head, glancing at Sev. "Seems you're not the only one having trouble grasping simple concepts today." She crossed her arms, letting go of the chair and leaning back against the wall. "I have nothing to say to you, nothing that I want to speak to you about and no desire to be in the same room with you. I won't even try to do what I'd love to because it wouldn't do any good. And if you intend to defend Piper to me, you're wasting your time. So then, the correct response would be to leave. I don't have time for your temper tantrums."
