Reeve walked into the mainroom and yelled once again inside. "Hello, is anyone here?"

Magnanimo wanders into the inn, looking around she notices that the place was empty by this hour of the day. Was good because she needed some time before everyone came in and started a havok around here. That she didnt wish to see. One thing on her mind was to see this vampire elf or elven vampire called Anarane. The name had cought her ear and all the tails about her. So now she walks over to a dark corner with her feet dragging on the floor. Some wood gets springed up between her toes by her claws on her feet. This place looked nice to her so she sat down. Waiting.

After a couple of hours Magnanimo wakes up from her slumber. Slowly opening her eyes she stretches and leans against the couch with her when she sits up. Now with her eyes open, she takes a quick look around. Wondering why the so called people werent here yet. She was curious about them. No doubt about that. Maybe she could find some to get her mask of. But that mask would jump on her face after a while. One thing she wanted to do when it was of was to burn it. To hear that dark leather burn would make her very happy. For now she just had to wait.

Entering the tavern slowly, it was clear that Ziven was exhausted. Her hair was slightly disheveled, weariness shown in her face, her clothes looked more worn in, though this was somewhat hidden by a warm cloak she had started wearing almost constantly.
Feet carrying her silently across the room, she grabbed a cup of tea, then found an empty table and sat heavily in a chair. Reaching in to her pocket, she pulled out a rather large book. To anyone who may have observed this, they would have seen the book was eaisly three times the size of the pocket she had taken it from. Ziven thought nothing of this, however, as she always used magic to store her larger posessions in pockets, purses or containers that she had charmed to hold quite a lot more than they normally would.
Opening the book, she let the book rest on the table and began to read while sipping her tea.

At the sound of movement the malicious Yawgmoth's eyes shot open. Yawgmoth often sat in the raftor beams above watching the insects skitter below him as they should. It was his place of solitude. His place of peace. But something familiar had disturbed him. The senses of darkness had told him she was there. Afterall, it was night, there was no one else around. The shadows on the walls knew everything and they were at the becken call of Yawgmoth. Staying silent his deep crimson red eyes made a slight shimmer in the dense darkness of the raftors above. Creeping across the beams like a spider, using all for limbs to steathfully move about he watched and observed for a moment or two. before laying over a rather large beam, in such a fashion that it supported his huge size and weight. He poked his head over the side and with a grim smile said quietly, creepily down below "We told you we would see you again very soon. Too soon in fact. Maybe not for us, but for you, perhaps. You look awful." he said with a sarcastic frown "Cheer up, if you're nothing to look at you're no good to us anyway. And things that are no good to us...seem to...disappear pretty fast around here. Get it?" He taunted from above. Oh how he enjoyed poking at this woman. She had the balls to stand up to him once or twice but was oh so easily scared into backing down with just a threat or two. So easily manipulated, so easily controlled. Yawgmoth's kind of prey.

All she truly wanted was to sit quietly with her book and earl grey. Little did she know that Yawgmoth was lurking above her. Hearing his voice just as she was taking a sip of tea, nearly caused her to sputter. Setting her tea down, she looked in several directions before looking up to see Yawgmoth hanging out in the rafters. Feeling self concious, as one could easily see down her shirt from such an angle (if one were so inclined to look), she adjusted her cloak, cocooning herself within the garmet. Irritated with him, herself and embarassed that he had been able to sneak up on her like that, she felt her cheeks flush and quickly returned her attention to her book, though she did not continue reading, in an effort to hide herself from him. She found it quite odd that he would mention past conversation between them. For one who said they did not care about others, he had a keen sense for detail.
"Indeed, far too soon." she said quietly. "I honestly am not sure who is more interested in who between you and I. It seems we are both wanting to know more and then move on .. though the way we move on is very different." With a deep, shuddering breath, she wondered if this thought she shared would offend him. At this point, she didn't care much as he had done his part to insult her yet again. "If your Lordship wishes for me to leave, I shall."

Yawgmoth was, in fact, one to notice details and definitly one to comment loudly on such details. A forked tongue raked over his lips as he snickered quietly watching her cover up before saying aloud "Nice tits" An arrogant smile over his handsome face Yawgmoth rolled over and off of the raftors falling to the left of her landing on all fours. Hopping up quickly he fixed his ruffled clothes and awaited. If she turned red at just the thought of him looking, he wondered what would happen when she found out he had looked. And had liked what he saw. "Leave? Why? You're amusing us.."

Pressing her lips together in a small frown, she felt her temper quickly rise. What could he possibly want now? she thuoght to herself. Regardless if he wished her to leave or not, she wanted to be prepared to leave at a moments notice. With her right hand, she closed the book, then raised her hand several inches over the cover and slapped her hand down on the book - which promptly dissappeared, leaving only a small puff of dust behind.
"I do believe that is the most vulgar ways to refer to a woman's appearance. If your goal was to offend with that statement, you were sucessful." Cheeks still quite red, she calmly picked up her teacup and greedily drained the remaining tea from the cup. "Dare I ask what more your Lordship wishes to ... discuss tonight?"

"Dare you speak to us in that tone again?" Yawgmoth snapped back sounding very unamused at her reaction to his....compliment. "How rude of you to take a compliment and twist it into what you see as vulgar. That's what they are, whether you like them to be called that or not. Deal with it." He finished crossing his arms over his great broad chest. "And judging..from how red in the face you are. We would go so far as to think, that this is the first time in a long while any male has mentioned something about your body. Vulgar or not." Yawgmoth added with quite the confidant smirk on his face. His tail swished lazily back and forth behind him. Everything about his choice of words and actions screamed arrogant self centered jackass tonight.

With a quiet sigh, she shifted her gaze to another part of the room and thought for a moment about what he said before replying.
"First time, peroid." she said very quietly. "I did not feel it was intended as a compliment but I will accept what you said in the spirit that it was given." Finishing her thought, she shrank in to her chair, making sure her cloak was still wrapped securly around herself.

Yawgmoth's eyebrow quirked and his arms lowered from his chest. "You're a...what's that word..." Yawgmoth thought pondering for a moment, his grasp of the english language was great for someone who grew up speaking thran and spent the last several eons speaking the language he invented, Phyrexian. But he could not think of that word. He felt silly asking her to clarify but no matter. Perhaps, it would embarass her more. "Ahem. The word for someone who has never mated with another. A naive? An innocent? Those are correct descriptions..but not the correct word for your language. Enlighten us and answer the question."

Yawgmoth's inquiry surprised her. It seemed somehow wrong for he to request assistance from her to recall a word he had forgotten. Looking at him once more, a smile played at the corners of her lips at their curious conversation.
"I believe you mean virgin -- and yes, I am. Of course I am." she said in a soft, firm tone. This was not something she had found herself discussing in quite a long while. Through her studies, she had spent the majority of her time as an apprentice to several wizards who taught her much of magic, though they were much older than she and with wives of their own. The nature of apprenticship was to have but one student, so she did not have much of a chance to find someone to share a relationship with -- not that she felt she deserved such a thing.
Pausing for a moment, she wondered why he felt it necessary to know this. "Does this bother you?"

Yawgmoth's hands clasped together "Yes! exactly. That's the word. You will have to forgive us. We are not a native speaker of your language. Words elude us sometimes but neither you nor any other humanoid has been able to grasp the concept of the language we are most used to speaking in the slightest." Perfect, he thought. Not only was she timid, shy and easy to manipulate but she was naive too. Knew no touch of man, none of that romantic stuff. No nothing. She was like a lamb ready to be lead to the slaughter. So to speak anyway. Yawgmoth, of course, harbored no intention of killing such an amusing little toy. "Bother us? Oh no no no my dear. It interests us quite a deal. For you see, we are unable to grasp why any humanoid in their right mind waves that right for so long. We react on primal instincts alone. Despite our higher brain functions and god like power you will find our day to day activities mimic that of a beast. We eat, whatever we can kill or find, we sleep, we are territorial to what is ours and we mate with our beloved whenever we can. Though, it has bore but one offspring it is the act itself we enjoy as does she." Unclasping his hands Yawgmoth walked to the bar and rapped his fingernails along the metal countertop. "And then, there are you humans who so wish to shed yourselves of your primal nature. You eat, you sleep but you avoid the act of simply...mating with one another and instead involve long drawn out relationships to climax with the act. While we cannot say we have avoided the relationship part, as we ourselves, are married under your systems, we find it rather trivial. Considering we slept and mated with our beloved many times before, and after such a relationship. Merely because the two of us enjoyed ********. There's really no honest way to put it. You, to us, as a virgin, are amusing. Why? Why deny yourself those feelings? You haven't a clue as to how easy it would be to simply give in." He finished ranting and turned to her with a shapr gaze his tail stopped swaying immediatly. "We guess, you are...waiting for the right male to come along? You are not interested in simply mating for the sher point of mating. You want love and affection, attention and a relationship. How overly complex you make it..."

"Well, you think you've got it all figured out? Guess again." she said angrily. This "omnipitent" one was not seeming so all-knowing to her now.
"I am Ziven, student of magic for a decade. I am certain that to one as timeless as yourself, you may not see this as signifigant but this is ten years of my nearly quater of a century existance spent studying. I do not have a "mate" because I have been diligent to my studies." she stood suddenly, very angry at the audacity of his statements. Her normally calm apperance was no where to be found. The weariness in her face did not show anymore. The more she spoke, the clearer it became that her emotions were intertwined with certain elements of the magic she knew, as her cloak seemed to be rippling in a slight wind since the moment she stood. "The one attempt I made to persue a male, I recieved nothing but pain as he was very vocal with informing me of how incredibly inferior he felt I was in all things."
Slamming both of her hands on the table, she took a deep breath, and hung her head quietly in shame, wishing she had not shared such a thing. Now able to tame her anger and frustrations, the movement in her cloak dwindled and hung motionless at her sides once more.
"I rather doubt one as confident as yourself would allow such a thing to happen to them. If you do not know the feel of rejection .." she sighed and simply stopped speaking, choosing silence and the comofrt of looking at the table rather than looking at Yawgmoth.
