Aqua smiled hearing his accent. "I'm glad you are." She said. She looked at Dante then Shayde. She just shrugged and gave up on the subject for now as wishlered his comment to her. She looked at him shocked before down at the deer. She shook her head. "I'm fine, really. I don't need to feed right now." She lied easily. There was no sign she had lied at all.

Dante looked sadly up at his mom. "Please mom, I know you need to." He said softly as he placed his hand over her heart. He smiled when she sighed and pulled his hand away knowing he won. "It's not dead either so it's better for you mom. Dad helped me catch it." he said as she looked up at Shayde. Dante knew what that look ment and ran inside the cabin and jumped on a bed. Aqua was kneeling in the ground beside the passed out deer, ancient up at Shayde with a raised eyebrow.

Aqua glared but gave up not caring if he actually left or not. She bit into the deer's neck and started draining the animal. After a short while, she had drained the deer completly and released the dead animal as she stood. She didn't feel the blood trickling down her chin. She leans back against the cabin closing her yes as she let her head stop spinning since she'd been starving herself again. Her body felt slightly numb as the fresh blood flowed in her. She heard Dante's bed squeaking slightly as he laid on it.

She sighed. "I know, I do, but it's something that's a habit now. I've gotten better because Dante would threaten to force me to bite him after he feeds if I didn't stop. I could never bite him, I felt the same when I met you but that's a different story altogether." she said, finally realizing the blood in he chin and around her mouth. She wiped it carefully and licked the blood from her hands. She bit her palm right above her wrist, drawing blood. She wasn't sure if she was ready to let him back into her life completly or not but she knew she still loved him. She moved in font of him and placed her now bloodied palm in front of his mouth.

Aqua hesitated for a second before gently feeding from him. She felt the deep connection they shared even now. She relaxed as she let go of his hand. After only a slight hesitation she leaned in to kiss him.

Aqua was still scared that he might leave but pushed it tithe back of her mind as she let him take control of the simple kiss she had started it as. She could see all their shared kisses and blood that had happened before he disappeared flashing before her eyes, felt the hurt of not being able to feel him in the way she did now. Tears started rolling down her face, mixture of joy and sadness as she brought her arms up around his neck. She no longer heard or sensed anything else around them and had practically forgotten Dante could come out at any minute. She kissed him withou caring about anything.

She dropped down in front of him and pulled him into a hug against her. "Shh, please stop Shayde. It's fine now. I won't lie and say that I complelty forgive you or that we can start over because neither is possible for me but I am being completely honest when I say that not once, even when I agreed to stop wearing the ring in my hand, not once that I ever stopped hoping you'd return and not once that I ever stopped loving you. Mak it up to me now be here for us right now." she said softly. She had pulled his head to lay against her shoulder beside her neck.

Dante was walking back to the cabin door to check on her. He avoided the creaky floorboards and made no sound as he reached the door. He stood there for a minute with his hand resti g in the door knob.

She let out the breth she hadn't realized she was holding when he spoke. She smiled and pulled back from him slightly. She looked him in the eyes, her pure happiness showing in her own eyes. She lifted her hand up to brush her hair back from her neck and tilted her head slightly to the side, exposing her neck complelty. She knew that their small connection earlier wasn't enough, didn't feel as right as it should and hoped he realized what she was suggesting without her saying it.

Dante took a step back, hearing everything they said outside. He felt slightly betrayed himself as he let go if the door and backed slowly from te door, shaking his head in disbelief. He had hoped his mom would at least give them more time before allowing Shayde back in their lives. They were fine without him and felt that he wasn't needed anymore. His whole life was spent protecting his mom from the father that left them and suddenly he shows up and he just let him back in. Dante took off out the back door of the cabin and into the woods without a single sound.

Aqua didn't flinch or move when he but her like she used to. She remained calm and relaxed, not the least but tense as he took in her blood. When he stopped and offered his neck to her, she smiled and leaned in. She kissed his neck gently before biting in his neck. She let out a low growl as she took in his blood, showing him how much she'd changed but still remained gentle. When she stopped, she kicked over the marks from her fangs before nuzzling into him for a brief moment.
