She eyed him for a minute before looking back down at Dante. With a sigh she knelt down to his level. "Dante. I have to tell you something. I lies to you, or I guess half lied since I never truly knew but....." she took another deep breath as she looked into Dante's confused expression. "Your father isn't dead." She let that sink in for a minute before standing back up and grabbing his empty hand. She gestured to Shayde. Dante looked confused before acting like he put the pieces together. He looked at Shayde and smiled. He looked up at his mom and gave home a nod. He acted happy as he walked up to Shayde. "Are you really my dad?" he asked innocently. He places the dagger back as he approached him. Without waiting for an answer, he noticed Shayde looked out of it a little. He knew aqua wouldn't notice. "Do you want to go hunting with me? Mom won't go cause she doesn't like anyone to see her feed and I'm still drained from helping you two. Please?" He begged. Aqua giggled slightly. She was glad that he seemed happy rather than mad at her or scared.

Aqua walked back into the cabin as the guys left.

Once they were out of earshot from aqua Dante dropped his act. "She's scared and still hurt deeply. She can't trust you complelty." He said as he he walked beside Shayde. His dagger was back in his hand as he twirled it. It seemed to be a nervous habit of his that was easy to notice it for what it was. "She does need to feed right now too but she'll pretend she doesn't until it's almost to late." He added as he caught the scent of blood in the air.

Dante chuckled as Shayde rambled before taking off. He caught up to him in no time even without Shayde slowing down. "Tired already old man? Don't worry bout mom, I'll take care of it." He said with a slight grin before taking off in front of Shayde. he stopped downwind and took a deep breath smelling blood. "Ines injured but bit enough to kill it." he noted outloyd but more to himself. He stood by waiting for Shayde to go first. He wasn't in desperate need to feed since he had just fed but he was still drained. He's wait though.

Dante chuckled and shook his head in amusement. Aft we Shayde had gotten the bear to stop thrashing, he took off after a large deer. He caught it and drained in a matter of seconds. After wiping his mouth again he looked around. He caught the scent of another deer and smiled. He took off after it and caught it. He placed his had over it's heart and focused pushing its conscious mind back, making the deer pass out. He stood there with it lying in the ground as he waited for Shayde.

"Take it." He said calmly as he gestured toward the deer and walked calmly towards the cabin. "Mom will be happy, even if she won't show it. And it's still alive so it'll be fresh when she gets it." He called over his shoulder. "I still don't completly trust you by I can try to get along for mom. But I will not hesitate to alter her memory or kill you if you ever, ever hurt her again. I could care less if you were here or not so don't get any ideas that I like you." He added, the dagger back in his hand as he walked slowly to wait for Shayde.

Dante turned when he heard Shayde chuckle. The cabin was in view now and he stopped so that aqua wouldn't hear him. "What are you laughing at?" He asked defensively. The dagger still for a minute before he continued to mess with it. "I didn't say anything you should be laughing at." he said, trying to keep his voice even.

Aqua had wondered back outside te cabin and was leaning against the side of it as she waited. She felt uneasy leaving them alone but knew Dante didn't hold any I'll intentions to his father. He was a sweet boy and she was proud of that but he didn't kiwi what would happen. She was biting her bottom lip as she waited, her gang catching it am drawing blood but she didn't notice it.

Dante froze and looked at the dagger before looking back up at Shayde. He shoved the dagger back where it belonged. As he ran up to his mom. "Mom! Guess what! Dad went after a bear! It was so cool!" he exclaimed as he turned to face Shayde.

Aqua smiled and laughed at Dante. "Well he always went after a challenge." she commented as looked up towards him. "Looks like you two are gettin along. He's more like you than me, don't you think?"
