I have that same problem, it makes reading my lecture notes almost worthless.

If I'm in a hurry or physically writing something on pen and paper then I drop words...I see them in my head but they dont' always get on teh paper. And you and I both know no one can read my writing. It's horrible. I can admit it.

I'd say lined paper killed the art of writing by hand.

Actually lined paper was my saving grace. I write uphill or downhill...whichever my hand feels like at the moment. xd
