I am TwiztidMetal. You may call me whatever you like, I really don't care about nicknames. I am honored to part of a group three years strong, and among many other metalheads of varied interests and talents. I enjoy metal of all types and varieties, and try not to limit myself to just one subgenre. However, I tend to favor Black/Death/Viking/Power/Doom varieties. I have hundreds of metal bands in my collection, and am eager to share my knowledge as well as receive more from the community. One example from each of my favored genres would be 1349/Man Must Die/Svartsot/Mystic Prophecy/Aura HiemiS (that last one is admittedly Funeral Doom). Keep in mind that even if you think you do not enjoy one/more of the subgenres of metal, there is always an exception to each rule. Just as Vektor or Angelus Apatrida would differ completely from Anthrax or Tankard, though they are all Thrash Metal (which may seem like an obvious example of comparing old to new, but to me it illustrates how tastes can change and defy expectations). Regardless of your tastes or perceptions, whether or not you prefer the older Obituary or Suffocation to newer music like Decrepit Birth or Arch Enemy. Religion, Politics, Personal Hygene Tactics, that does not matter. Spreading the knowledge of good music, and keeping metal alive and healthy, is something we should all strive for. The best metal guild that this social networking site has to offer. (= And this one seems like the most progressive one yet so yeah...although a bit hard to find I had to go through all the "slipknot" and "linkin park" and "gaias rockers" guilds -.-
