She took one good glance and knew right there which nightmare they ended up stepping into, one of the many nights that her father would use Kuroi's ability to in a way punish her for not showing the Nightshade way of thinking. Being a good thinker and wanting to help others was frowned on for Cyrus so he would go as far as tormenting her with fear and misery of other to set her straight and learn it wasnt the right thing to actually have heart for others unless it was causing dispair.
Vertusk was right in the middle of everything trying to keep away from the spirits that rose from the ground of his feet trying to crawl and claw up to him ready to cause pain. Several clawlike hands came from behind grabbing tight to his shoulders digging deep into his skin. He did all he could to get away but Kuroi was waiting for him in every cornoer just to lead him right in the middle to where a black pool formed right under him, slowly making him sink and making more terror cries that pleased Cyrus' ears knowing this it the proper way of doing things. No matter what Vertusk did the faceless souls that walked by did nothing going their own way as if they didnt hear a thing nor see what was happening right in front of them as Cyrus just howled in laughter.
"You see this is what happens when a Nightshade tries to play nice with the people of this world, they dont care and never cared how we think. By being nice and caring to what they want leads to them in the end turning their backs and even lead to the destruction of the royal family....kindness just leads to dishonor to the family and even death if it goes far."

Yuki tried all she could to not listen but the cries of Vertusk slowly being clawed down deep into the black ooze pierced the air, for being a nightmare it felt more like mental torture no one should ever have to endure unless deserved and she was one that didnt need this growing up yet watching it again to another person was challenging.

Having to constantly watch and feel every strain of misery that his wife had to endure was the most unstable and terrible torture anyone could ever go through, each and every memory had its own type of punishment that only got worse as they came from childhood to the present. Though it was Vertusk that was in Yuki's place he had no clue this was the reason she had became as insecured and not wanting to take much of a stand, all because of the evi things her father made her do and had done just to show a lesson on how to be proper in his eyes.
All Drako and Yuki could do was stand on the sidelines as everything was being played from Yuki going into the army at only nine years old, beatings for just falling down, and nightmares every night when it was normal to have a story to sleep. Everything was being played to the brink Vertusk didn't even know if this was real or he was in a bizarre nightmare of fears, with no way out to run away as the shadows just came back to taunt and speak a language unable to be translated into words but unbearable to be heared.
The time they had spent so far wasn't so long however felt like hours of agony for him to bear that he screamed so much nothing would even bother to come out as his voice became silent, as the realization finally was put into mind.

She never knew how complex it was to be a reaper if it had ment serious consenquences if something was to be broke or don't follow code as told, Drako had made several risk since this whole fight began and the effects were started to be seen more each time he seems to do something out of the ordinary. Having to already control chaos itself along with other egos that decided to reside in it almost seemed difficult with everything trying to come out whenever it wanted as Yuki watched how much he truely looked exhausted.
"This has to be a strain on you so much but I almost have to agree with a little thinking, grudges among a group would already make disaster when they turn on comrade to comrade. But on the other hand I think he has the point how that secrets hidden for years are played right in front of him."
Since they were ghost it was futile to try and help since a lesson was seen and learned if the anger still stayed to just grow, it would mean instant defeat and something Sara would want to see, everyone falling.

He didnt like the image he was givin as many people that witnessed his presense would automatically think of fear and terror to try and flee thinking the worse of things if he was around, having to have that kind of reaction isnt something everyone liked to have but hearing him slightly Yuki thought he had most likely figured out his own question from what he said.
"Its most likely you agree to everything because of the fact you loved Scarlet dearly, and with that would do anything and everything to show your love back to her. Most would think fear at her appearance as a reaper but you were that one in a few that saw through all the demonic features to see the woman you loved. I believed you had an experience with that not too long ago if I may guess correctly, I never judge many unless I know harm is to come but to actually see the person of who they really are and not from what is on the surface. That was a keen principle I taught my daughter to know and understand."
Even in pain Drako thought about that remembering in the Realm of Water that Everest did something he couldnt really explain since most children would be terrified of something he would be, but it was different with that child that was never figured out till it was answered, it was because she was taught never to judge by how a person looks even if they would appear to look dangerous. Yuki caught his look and knew something happened close to that continuing to explain.
"For being only seven I'm surprised her fear levels are as low as they are unlike other children her age, but I guess the principles stuck to her mind quickly than expected. There are times she would see me in my worst of forms when the black magics decide to turn and try and consume my concious as well as give me the look of a demonic kitsune like my spirit appears as, but even amongs the sinister feel she still saw me as a mother and not a monster and thats what you should remember too. Even though you may show at times as a evil being but just know that you know who you are and dont take what people say for the truth, even you yourself taught me that lesson when I served you as a childish troublemaker. Keep your love strong now like it was when Scarlet was still around, forget what others think and believe on something they judge."

For Yuki those were the only memories she would like to remember at times only to a certain degree on how gullible she was when they happened, watching it again happen to Vertusk instead just made her feel more idiotic that she was easily scared for the most common of tricks Scarlet would play to get a kick reaction from everyone she wanted to give a spook to. In her years of living with the Knight-Rose family at first it was the thought of what could happen but like anyone's idea from what appears it was a good place to be from the era it was in that time, being treated more like one of them then a servant gaining special previleges that was rare to many especially being taught how to master magic even being the dark element she was taught under their wing.
However it wasnt always listening to command and such but times of mischevious ways to come to the surface. Drako remembered the many times Scarlet would come out of nowhere and make Yuki jump like a mouse to the point the trees were the only things in the way, such a memory had him laughing even though he was right next to the victim aggitated from the sight. The only thing that perk a smile was the fact they were watching Vertusk doing almost the same but probably in a more clumbsy way to get away, as if watching a male counterpart till he was whining like a child trying not to hit another obstacle. for being a lesson Drako and Yuki looked back at those times when things were at ease and not in any peril, when the universe was stable with no issues from realm to realm, it was the relief they needed to see once again instead of all things in fear or negative thought.

"I did not act this scared last time I recalled....only slightly spooked since she was right there at the time and....my guard was down for a moment." she tried to protest seeing the repeat in a mild pout tone Drako remembered so well those days.

It was unexpected but somehow Vertusk manage to spot him first and get a grab since the chance was there, he had done many little antics before between the two of them but this time was the line crossed too far in the comfort zone even for a humorous lesson. Drako was just as surprised since he knew he was a ghost in memories but apparently that wasnt the case since he was being dragged right into the memory, and Vertusk was going to be sure that he can along the rinde since he was part of it too.
They were still in the good ones but just like how Yuki would be scared to death closely, Scarlet would do the same thing to him to bring out a little terror to the partitially scared Drako himself. Once inside the memory Drako took one look around and knew right on the spot where he was, and which memory it was from way back. This was the time they were out amongs the more ruin parts of the Netherworld to explore but for Scarlet it was more like a playground of mischief and Drako knew that from all the areas she could easily hide.

It was a day that noone wanted to ever think about, but for Drako it would be the one day his life was turned for the worst when the dearest love he ever had was taken away all from bad timing. To repeat the same moment just brought the same fear and depressed emotion he had heavy in his heart for all these years, and to watch it more just tore more into his hear opening the healing wound. That day was all he could think about of all the things he could've done and should've yet he didnt think about it till the damage was done and Scarlet was no longer with him, in a way be believed that it was his fault that she was gone in the first place because of the fact he didnt look that one moment before everything changed his life for good. Hearing his cries Yuki turn and saw the face she never wanted to see again after had time to recooperate and accept the reality, but now was reverted back to the depression of greif with his face stained in his tears of having to watch a painful memory like that was, to never be erased from mind. Though this whole ordeal was to teach a lesson it turned into another memory chase adding the good and recently terrible tradegies that happened to Drako, and Yuki could see he didnt want to see more. She couldnt stop the memories from appearing and thought of the only thing to do was to keep Drako calm to let him know that it wasnt his fault it happened, but a bad memory that was hard to run from asshe walked behind him and held him tight to show some security.
"Its a hard thing to remember I know, with all these memories I think the fun of it just change going too far, Vertusk has the point now from the look of it but you have to calm yourself. Thats something memories do at times when they are bad....they get you thinking again even with the damage already been done."
