She stopped half-way down the stairs when she heard Jaime's voice. She turned and looked at him. "What do I look like? Her god-damned BFF? Why the ******** would I have a picture of her?" She ground out then she and Kurai went to her car and they both got into the vehicle. Kit put the car into gear and tore out of the driveway and down the street.

Jaime sighed slightly. "I see she's still as charming as usual. I guess she forgot I need something of the person's or a photo to track them." he said to Tala.
"Yeah well I'm used to it. Why dont we go get the guys at the mall and fill them in? Tala replied. At Jaime's headshake, she asked "Why not?"
"You wanna piss of Ms. Furball? Didn't think you had a death wish. besides, they're on their way back anyway." Tala noticed the sock in his hand as he spoke

 Gambit laughed at Damian and said, "Well maybe you need a GPS or a leash bud. Come on lets go the women are stressing us about getting back." Since Damian didn't take his hand Gambit snatched him up by his shirt collar standing him up. He attempted to dust Damian off with a single heavy pat on the back. Ready to head off he felt his phone vibrate so he pulled it out and read the message. Laughing to himself he said to Damian, "Speak of the devil, they really want us back. Come on Damian lets hurry before they come here in person and drag us by our ears." Gambit then started walking at a rather fast pace towards the house.

"hey!" he protested in vain to being lifted and dusted up. why was he so easy to lift sure he could wear small if it was long enough, but that what he got for being under fed for 6 or so years."can we get some soft tacos on the way I'm hungry..." Damian said running to catch up, narrowlly missing a pole.

When Damian shouted 'hey' at Gambit for lifting him up Gambit merely it ignored him. As Damian caught up asking if they could get tacos along the way Gambit pulled out his phone and pulled up the message Kurai sent him. Handing the phone to Damian he said, "Here read this and tell if you still want to get tacos. It's from Kurai." The message read: Back @ house sh** going down. get back fast! bring damian.

The body of the purple haired woman was tossed into the back seat of the killers car. That's when he noticed that the wallet had fallen out of the girls back pocket. He picked it up and opened it and thumbed through the contents. A couple credit cards, a state ID, some miscellaneous cards and a few wallet sized photos. His curiosity lead him to crouch down on the ground and lean against the car as he went through the five photos. Two of them had her and what looked like a blind boy in them, judging by the clouded look of his eyes. It was the third one that made the killer let out a yell and drop the photos and wallet. The purple haired girl with a bunch of other of varying looks, one was a giant bear anthro and another was what looked like a human version of a nine-tailed fox. A sadistic grin appeared on his face when he realized he killed a mutant. "I can kill mutants as well as regular people. I'm unstoppable." He purred out in a raspy voice as he got up and cracked his neck. He got into the car and drove off to where he intended to drop the woman's body.
Kit clenched the steering wheel as she maneuvered the car around a turn as she and Kurai headed towards the x-mansion. "If the person who kidnapped her finds out she's a mutant it's going to go right to his head." She said suddenly, breaking the silence. "Whoever the kidnapper is that is...." Kit bit her bottom lip and let out an exasperated sigh.

brett was sitting one a couch that seemed to be randomly placed against walls throughout the mansion. something seemed off he already knew he couldn't locate Sam he was use to people occasionally being out of his range but Sam didn't feel out of range more like she wasn't there to locate. his stomach felt like it was in a knot worrying for her. as much as he didn't want to do it he would need kit's help to find her.
(lol where the hell is all the adults in this XD their just like screw it these brats can just deal with this insanely horrible things themselves)
"oh" Damian said reading the text. "yea no tacos, maybe later" he passed back the phone. hopefully nothing bad happened to anyone he knew. maybe it was that creepy kid with those weird a** cloudy eyes that made his bright red eyes look normal. or was it the purple haired chick? she seemed tough so he kinda doubted it was her in trouble. she was the one the that probably saved the other kids a**. he kept to himself on the way back only getting distracted a few times that gambit had to literally pull him away from. they arrived home and Damian ended up opening the door by missing a step a pushing the door that had not been quite pulled too
finally out of sabertooth cave and back in a temporary safe house Travon had just arrived with the stuff he manged to sneak out from their old place that had been turned into a crime scene due to them finding the burned remains of their one former and short lived leader. none of the clothes survived but he was able to get stuff like photos the had put in fire proof boxes when they knew kit was coming. they had decided that Akira should do the shopping, she was way better at that than he was. he took the things to the respective rooms. he was happy to be out of the cave sabertooth always look like he wanted to eat him. that and he had always hated camping he had bad luck with small forest creatures.
Akira was at walmart looking at bedding, the one that were provided looked like army reject blankets. she was also planing to slip in to hot topic and get some clothes there but hopefully most of everything they needed here. she plopped the choice bedding in to the cart had headed off for the grocery section.

Toad was sitting down, his back against the wall. He was still pretty ******** up from the torture he had endured at Kit's hands but, it wasn't as bad as it was before thanks to Sam healing him up before Kit went and turned the house into an inferno. The amphibious man sighed as Travon came in after doing whatever it is the kid had to do. "Bloody hate this place." He muttered. They hadn't heard from Magneto. Mystique was dead and that chick, Mortimer didn't even remember her name since she hadn't been there long enough to bother to remember it.
He was about to say something when he heard a car. A concerned look crossed his face as he slowly and carefully got up, letting out a small grunt as he did so, and hobbled to the entrance of the cave and peered out cautiously. Akira wouldn't be due back for a few hours and Travon was there. He watched from the cave's higher up vantage point as a busted up looking sedan that looked like an early 90's model pulled into the clearing next to the lake. "What the devil is going on here?" He murmured to himself as a man with shaggy dark brown hair got out of the drivers side of the car then opened the back door behind the drivers seat. Something felt wrong, horribly wrong.
"Jesus...." He put a hand over his mouth as the man pulled out a body from the back seat. The purple hair, even at this distance, was still very recognizable despite it being matted with dry blood. Mortimer watched as the man tossed the girls body into the lake and proceeded to get into his car and drive away.
Kit pulled the car in front of the mansion's front door after finally getting past the gate. She and Kurai got out of the car and went up to the door. Kit rang the door bell.

brett had already been on his way to the door when kit rang the bell he had been keeping a general trick on them. 'well this wont look bad at all letting in someone who bough ripped my arm off....' he thought to himself. despite Sam healing it his arm was still cramping and stiff. there was also a rather visible scar, people kept asking about it. he opened the door and stepped to the side to let them in
what is it? travon asked coming into drop of what he salvaged of toad's stuff and noticed him looking out the window. he set the stuff on the bed and proceeded to the window

When Damian read the text then handed him back the phone Gambit said with a smile, "Yeah that's what I thought now lets get going." Throughout there walk Gambit had to pull Damian away from thing, but little did Damian know Gambit was fighting his own will to do the same at places that drew his attention. When they finally arrived he let out a mental sigh of relief. When Damin tripped on a step managing to open the front door in the process Gambit shook his head and said, "There ain't nothing I wanna add, but it don't take no telepath to know what I'm thinking right now though."

Kurai figited a bit in her seat. "I really hate we gotta come here."
Tala raised a hand as Gambit and Damian arrived. "Hey guys, so I know you heard sotin's goin don. Kit's been trying to get ahold of Sam, from the x mansion and got nothin. Cant remember all the details, Kurai was talkin too fast."
"Well they're at the x mansion now. Maybe we should see if we're needed?" Jaime spoke up, holding a bracelet Tala recognized as Kurai's.

Gambit returned Tala's hand gester with his own. When she went on to explain what was going on Gambit said, "Whoa, slow down now. I never heard of anyone named Sam that lives at the mansion. If we're gonna go can you fill me in alittle better on the way there." Gambit walked in and tossed his bags on the floor and headed back out the door waiting for Tala to either reply on head towards the X mansion.

Toad stood silent for a minute before he looked at Travon. "Some guy dumped a body in that lake." He muttered with a strange calm. "I think it was Samantha."
"I hate it too." She said looking over at Kurai as they stood in front of the front door of the Xavier Mansion. Kit rang the door bell and waited patiently. "I just hope our team doesn't do anything like rush over here. That's why I said just you and I, anymore people with us and it would cause more of a panic in the house." She said and rang the doorbell again.

"what!?" Travon said shocked a went over to the entrance "'i got to go get her..." he said bolting off toward the lake before he could be stopped. maybe they could do something....anything. he dove in to the lake with out much thought. if she was the least the could do is make sure she wasn't fish food. he searched as quick as he could and finally founding her after the second time he had to go to the surface for air. he did his best to drag her to shore but he wasn't use to swimming while dragging someone.
''I'm coming" Brett said, kit could probably hear him trough the door but no one else could. he opened the door and stepped back with it so kit and apparently just Kurai could just walk in
