Aes stopped, but it was too late, his eyes were large with horror when he realized how much he had said, how much had been plauging his thoughts finally out in the opening.

This transformation of Aes back to his usual soft self made Pale relax too, so she responded truthfully: "I've never been in a real relationship before, one that I got to choose. I truely like you as a friend, maybe we would have been more, but it's stupid to think like that. I need, maybe more want than need, someone impulsive like Tsubasa."

He walked the rest of the two paces to her, and looked up into her artifically, but still beautiful, blue eyes. "Something that I can take with me, that I can always remeber...."

Pale let some tears fall. She grabbed his hand and looked up "after this Aes, you must never have these feeling for me again! Ever, you understand? You have to move on! If you agree to this, then yes."

Aes nodded solemly. He closed his eyes, and his hand was around her waist as he dipped slightly. He started by kissing her softly, but his affections became more warm. He realized he needed to back off.
When it was over. He stepped away, and looked up Pale once more.

There was no emotion behind the kiss she gave to Aes, save sadness. When she felt him withdraw she opened her eyes. She got herself together and turned towards the men's dorms. "This is it, Aes, you can't feel anything for me now."

Aes himself was starting to towards his practice. "Oh, I'll love you, Pale. I'll love you so hard that it might brake me one day, that I'll go insane when I see you mate with that hanyou and bear his children. Yes, I love you."
"But I'll be damned if I ever do anything about it again." and he was gone.
