"Yes I know and you know that I'm as good as my word."
Onyx purred lightly.
"A rebel. How enjoyable. But what about home? why didn't you go there rather than come here? surely your people still exist here someplace. I mean even Whirlwind has a place she can call home, in teh penninsula..it's a halfelf community. Granted they might take a bit of getting ued to your new form..but there's still a place for you, isn't there?"

Well...this was intriguing now wasn't it? Jarlaxle seemed to be...doing what exactly? She really wasn't sure. But his little friend had just tied the rope around Tarathiel's waist. What did that mean? She really hated that drow. Hadn't liked him when he pushed too far with Piper and upset her as badly as he had. And Sevilin was standing there letting all of this happen. Of course she refused to admit that she'd gotten herself into this predicament by jumping in and making rash decisions. She was probably lucky she wasn't dead right now. Would that stop her from burning their ears with insults and ranting? By Lloth no! But right now she just wanted to be free. What did they want with her anyway? Her eyes narrowed at him when he pointed out how helpless she was right now because of him. "You are not actually thinking about letting him go and leaving me like this, are you Inthara?!"

((edit))
Jarlaxle looked at the younger Dominion drow. "He's pretty jeallous of you, a trait he picked up a few hundred years ago. Causes mood swings." Jarlaxle did enjoy belittling the prince.
"I'd rather not have this fight at all, so we'll leave those two like that until the missy is less prissy. Tea?"
"Jarlaxle, you basterd, Kill him!"
"No, I miss having such devious and intelligent people around. If your mother would stop killing them all, I would probably not enjoy this so much."
"I'll--"
"Watch your tongue you insolent naive." The general glowered the Prince. "Because I'm evil, I get to live." He turned his attentrion back to the drow who impressed him, daggers still flying. "Tea or no?" Jarlaxle looked at the girl, "Quiet, grown ups are talking."

She snorted. "Home's gone. Dimitri's kin destroyed it after I died. I would rather my soul return to it's rightul place."
She had a look of cntempt about her. "This sin't my bodies. It belongs to some other soul. Bur Dimtir stopped that soul from being bron and shoved me inside it instead." She shrugged. "Me and a bunch of half elves I don't know wouldn't get along anyway."

Onyx titled his head.
"You do realize that Dimitri doesn't use born creatures, right? he was..growing bodies in a cornfield. your body was born, it was made. something that humans call...what is it...oh yes. genetic engineering. most call them Souless. there's nothign in them."
He gave a small shrug.
"You coudl stay here if you wanted. wouldn't mind a hunting partner, as Moonstone isn't really the hunting type."

Now to Sevilin's mind...being jealous of him was something akin to a mouse being jealous of not being the cat's dinner. Which was absurd. "That's interesting to know." A little smirk, drow didn't smile at each other after all really. "At least you share my ideal of this pointless fight..." Though he wasn't too keen on havign them around, meant he'd have to keep up his rune usage, but he trained for this kind of thing.
A look to Zahara and a point, before catching a dagger, to the runic circle she was in. "You see that, what you stepped in. That is Kimmuriel's target...to let you go, I have to let him go. He's just as hot headed as you but not hesitant to go for the kill." Yes, it was as simple as that for him. But his attention turned back to Jarlaxle. "I'm not too partial to tea, though I will take the break and conversation you seem to seek." A wipe at the blood from his nose.
"Right, so don't tarnish it." Caressing a hand over his cheek lightly then looking over to Kieran again as he had taken hold of Raziel in his good hand and stood. "Where are you going, you get to stay there where I can keep an eye on you too. Or do I have to tie you both together and sit on you both?"
"No, I'll be back...I'm just going to go grab a journal so I can do some writing while I'm idle. I'll let you hover over me all you want as well." Though he was also going to get something else, he was starting to worry about his arm about this point.

She growled low in her throat over what Jarlaxle said but she also shut up because as Sevilin had just pointed out, she had gotten herself in this predicament. But her nose was itching and she needed to scratch it. Of course not being able to move hindered that ability now didn't it. She was good and stuck and yelling at them obviously wasn't going to get her out so she stood there looking bored and indifferent. When they quit acting like children and decided to let her out she'd deign to talk to them again. For now she'd stand here and loftily lift her eyebrow at their squabbling.

"He grows the bodies cause it's faster that way. But how do you tihnk they re souless? He prevenst the rightful soul from entering it. Empty shells are good palces to store whatever the hell you want." She shrugged and gave a yawn, showing a good row of healthy, white teeth. Surprising for being ina dungious.
"We'll see. I have my deal to finish first."

Jarlaxle chuckeld, "This probably wont take as long as our little sparring match." The general flicked a wrist, sending the sword he had drawn into oblivion. "That one wanted to kill you because you were, well, you looked like an idiot to say the least... Mostly, I only came because you did so poorly against that surface s**t, it sickened me to think that I complimented you. Thus, you had to die.. You know, killing off the weak. It seems now though, that you are merely playing cat and mouse with the whole household, which gives me a moments repreave: I didn't waste my words on an inferior creature." The general was still throwing daggers, go figure.
"Now, thiss little missy here, went and did something foolish, no need for details, you're a clever one. That something lead to somethign else, causing him to get atad attached to her, and the idea of her; thus, jealous attack on you, who happen to be near her far more than he can stand."
"I don't want to kill you, you don't want to die, we really have a common goal, but yours might just be a method to mine. You don't like being used, and loath the thought of beign a puppet, but Puppet you have become, puppet with puppets. WHo, is pulling the strings?"
"I told you," A finger pointed at Zahara, "about Lloth, and how she opperates directly and indirectly. People like you,"Pointing at SEvilin, "don't like that bull s**t. I can only forsee one out come from this, and letting everyone walk away, because I am too old to think too lightly on this farce of an assassination. Unfortunately for you, mageling, we are tracking down your power, and you can't aford to let us live, should we find a way around it. Do not underestimate our abilities when it comes to this thing, we do travel from country to country kicking the s**t out of people like you. We know who to talk to, and we know how to get things done very quickly." The general threw a dagger at the rope around Zahara's neck, severing the binds. but the one after aimed for Sevilin again. "The next time we meet, do not doubt that we have a method to get past your very neat trick." The general placed a hand on Tarathiel's shoulder. "GO ahead, retort, we will still be listening." After the fist sylibol of listening was uttered, a globe of darkness covered Jarlaxle and the surrounding area, daggers flew out until the last, each one just as accurate as the ones thrown before the dark, and the intruders were gone. Zahara remained were she was, no Princeling threatening to cut her in half.

So he had seen that little fiasco with Silvercrest? How horribly so. Then again...Kieran had used a cheap tactic. He didn't count his 'defeat' as such for it wasn't. Silvercrest had run away. "What better way to know what you're dealing with that placing false securities." Catching or deflecting daggers as they came, wiping at his nose every once and a while. Though he didn't say a word to thier supposed tracking of his own powers...and merely scowled as the two disappeared.
He smirked. "It is farther from your reach than you comprehend." For first they'd need Andal at their grasp, and then they'd have to get a rune mage to cooperate with them. Good luck with that. Surface trash wanted nothing to do with drow, and the drow females would not even spare them a glance. But he shook his head and looked to Zahara, runic circle for her dying down...though he kept his own up for the moment. Hm, interesting no? "Didn't you learn your lesson about jumping in earlier? You'll get yourself killed before the year is out."

"It takes a lot more than the threat of imminent death to phase me, Sevilin, I grew up with threats. they were our version of 'love.' She spat the last word and finally scratched her itchy nose, twitching it lightly before running a hand through her hair and picking up the two halves of her dagger. "Dammit.." She sighed softly then turned to him and asked what had been on her mind. "You wouldn't have actually given me over to those two would have you?" Her eyes roamed over him and the small cuts he had in abundance from the daggers. He needed to be healed, she knew that but she also knew better than to touch him. "Besides, I'm still alive. Don't worry about me until I'm lying on the ground bleeding and about to take my last breath."

"What deal? something I can help with?"
Hey, Onyx enjoyed hunting..well...anything. from person to animal. and it might give Whirlwind some time to be able to look at him and not see the violent creature he coud become.
Malik watched Kieran with a bit of concern. That arm was not so critically wounded as to give him these kinds of problems after clerical work. something was a bit fishy, and he was suspecting a poison or soem other potent drug. after all, Sevilin was a drow.
Though a whistle, calling over a slave who rushed off and brought back a cleric. of course they were forbidden from using thier magic on him unless specifically instructed, as he did like to endure the pain to build up his thresholds to endure it, and the young man, as a young woman would probably get nine shade of hell from Piper, removed the bandages, mostly since they had soaked up agood deal of blood and fluid, and started applying more of the previous poultice on the skin. which right now looked like burnt meat with little slivers taken out all over, those being the lanced blisters.
Then of course rewrapping him up, and he walked over to Piper, very, very hesitant about it.
"Mistress? may I change your bandages?"

"Were you not listening to what I said?" That was his only answer to her on the matter. Though he seemed to slouch some, and he was not one for slouching before he let that runic circle of his drop. And all those little cuts that hadn't been bleeding before...well they started. Blood welling to the surface and trickling down in numerous places, a slight darkening of his clothes in some spots, and his hair soping up red. That nose bleed of his got a bit worse too, and a new trail of blood leaked out the corner of his mouth.
He leaned against his pole arm a moment. Then looked behind to see what damage had been done...not too much. Well that was good. But he was pissed...he had varitible 'enemies' on both sides. "Come here and I'll send you home."
Up in his room room now he leaned against the door a moment. Yeah he should of known better. Taking off his cloak he threw it on the bed and then set Raziel down there as well. Unslinging his arm he let it rest limp at his side, other hand pulling off bandaging. A look at the wound, which indeed on his pale skin was showing some irritation. Taking a breath he held it and then stuck two fingers into the wound, feeling around inside. And boy did it hurt like hell...after all, brokem bone and what not.
A bit of digging around in that wound with gritted teeth before shaking from acute pain fingers were brought back, bloody and holdind what looked like a very thin transparent fish scale. "I knew it..." Worrisome thing was that it was turning black as he watched the little thing.
She watched him go off, with that same bit of concern. Problem was when something bothered Kieran, he still had the ability to hide it from her. That pretty much sucked. Though her attention had turned to Malik, if all a little bit paranoid...hey she still didn't like clerics. And oh the look that cleric got when he turned his sights on Piper and her posture tensed up. Malik got that 'does he really have to if I don't want him to' look. Even if Zahara wasn't on her side...well Piper could just do it herself right?

Zahara turned to snap a smartass comment that would be just her style when all of a sudden he began bleeding. "Sevilin! You're leaking!" She gaped at him in horror, that blood was coming out awful fast. And there didn't appear to be any stemming of the flow either. Now way in hell was she going to let him bleed to death. She ignored his words completely and was prepared to shove him down and take care of him. "I'm not going anywhere until you're fully healed." she said stubbornly. "And I"m not letting you do it, you've been through enough as it is. Either sit down, or take me somewhere I can take care of you. Though keep in mind that while my vision is a lot better, it's still not perfect and sitting in the Underdark is never a good idea." Clutching her hands to keep from reaching for him, he had to be healed.

He thought he almost laughed at her choice of words. Leaking...well that was one way to put it. Actual cause? He'd been using runic means to keep wounds inflicted temporarily sealed, thus with the terminating of his powers...came the blood. Though Sevilin didn't seem overly concerned. Nope. He wiped at his nose with his sleeve, spit out some blood and merely frowned at her a little.
"No. I'm fine." He had gone through enough already today hadn't he? Now she wanted to paw at him and what not? He thought not. And to prove his point he pushed up off his pole arm and straightened his posture, walking over to her and grabbing her by the arm. Yes he would be willing to force her home. "I don't need help." Thus the flicker of that circle again. Spitting out more blood of course with the calling of the ability.
