Reeve could not help but laugh for a moment. "Yes, I see what you mean. Tell you what, I will eat a peice myself so that you can see I didn't do anything to it. How does that sound?" As he said this he began to open the candy and take off a peice.

Blind Light Reeve could not help but laugh for a moment. "Yes, I see what you mean. Tell you what, I will eat a peice myself so that you can see I didn't do anything to it. How does that sound?" As he said this he began to open the candy and take off a peice.
Jared still wasn't sure if that was good enough, but his hunger made it sound more logical by the moment, nodding his had a bit, again, not realizing he wouldn't see, "yah otay.." he muttered, taking out his pacifier and stuffing it into the pocket of his dinosaur trousers, standing beside Reeve with his little hands out, hungrily expecting his cut.

Reeve put his peice in his mouth and chewed it for a moment. "No... I think it's okay..." He held out the remaining part of the candy to the child. "There you go kiddo... so, why were you in here all alone?"

Jared took the remaining piece of candybear from the man's hand, pointing back to the back corner of the room where Ana and Crow were sleeping on a couch in the darkness, "fank yew mistur Weeve.... I not awone, my mo...*stammers* um, miss Ana an miss Cwo awe bak dere asweep." he replied, looking up at the man as he chewed on the candy hungrily.

Reeve simply kept his face in the direction of the boy. "I see. Miss Ana takes care of you does she?" He smiled a bit. "Thats very nice of her."

Jared nodded, "uh huh.." was all he muttered with a mouthful of candybar, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, trying to keep his legs a bit apart, developing the start of a diaperrash from being in thie wet diaper all day long, getting a little bit of melted chocolate on his little hand as he held the candybar to his mouth, continuing to eat on it hungrily.

Jared finished off the candybar Reeve gave him, licking the melted chocolate off his hand as best he could, wiping what was left onto the side of his trousers, "fank yew mistur Weeve, da tandy wuz yumy." he commented as re reached into his pocket, retrieving his pacifier and stuffing it back into his mouth.

He snapped back into reality and smiled. "It is quite alright, I know what it feels like to be hungry and not be able to eat." He spun his cane one the ground, making all the symbols on it blur together and make a large design.

Jared smiled from behind his pacifier in wide-eyed wonder as he looked at the swirling lights and designs on the man's cain, "whoa... dass neet dat yur stik wites up." he replied.

Crow baby wandered in alone. She had been training with her bow and her blisterd fingers were sore. Sighing she walked to the sink to run cool water over them.

Jared nodded his head, "yah, iss kool..." he mumbled, slightly enthralled until he noticed a new face enter the room, passing him and Reeve by on the way to the sink, "Hewo, wuss yur nayme? I Jawed an diss iz mistur Weeve.." he introduced politely as she passed by.
