 First thing I thought of reading all this. That is all. [Edit] Actually, a couple years ago in Barton I had a half-demon, half-angel fire elemental with fire wings pummel Rage to death in one post.

Tenkyl Felix I actually saw a chick in Barton years ago whos character, I s**t you not, was "Half human, half elf, half werewolf, half vampire, half demon, half angel." Oh did I have fun tearing her a new one with Enki... Makes me want to go fight in Barton. Except everyone there when losing suddenly becomes 100 million times stronger, invincible and is secretly a god of some long lost culture. Ah noobs, you bring me such comedy.

Dude, I wouldn't b***h in your case... you were one step from "n00b" with that character pairing... and part of me still has hope you'll go, "HARHAR Just kidding guys, this is the REAL character" and start telling us the REAL character you've been working on...

Remake it without the vampires of werewolves and I'll consider it... and make the "half cat" a small, full cat who is a thief... Make the guy some sort of warrior, but not a "vampire hunter." And no "troubled pasts."
Then people will consider it.

Well, as private messaging has failed me twice, and I'm lazy and weak willed, I'm just gonna leave this hurr. Quote: The first part of the pair is an older man. I'd figure he'd be a cleric, healer or necromancer of some sort. The second part of the pair is a younger boy, I'd say verging on 17 or closer to 20, I haven't quite decided that detail yet. The older man travels around with the younger boy, going from town to town, village to village, and sets up shop as a travelling entertainer. He charges combatants an entry fee to fight the younger boy, with a big pay off in their odds, however he cheats from the sidelines, using magic to help the boy, and to add to that, occasionally he will convince combatants to wager a power or strength of theirs, and when and if the boy wins, the old man adds those powers to the boy. The boy himself is completely under the influence of the old man, sort of like a slave/master relationship, but the boy thinks it more like a religious teacher/student relationship. He believes he stays with the old man out of choice, rather than knowing he is being manipulated and used. The old man is of course using the younger boy to just make money, and fame for himself. To him the boy is nothing more than a pawn or something to be used. This is just the rough idea, nothing's been put into a profile yet, so I'm sure some other details will arise when I start writing down in more detail, but I also am wondering whether I should have the boy have been an orphan as a youth, or a body created by the Cleric, as that would help explain how the cleric can give the boy new powers (Stronger sword arm, keener sight etc). When I say the boy gains new powers I don't mean magic, I mean he's physically improved.

No one knows how he came into being or which parent he got the "apple" from. Some whisper tales of his father, a famous elvan ranger who loved the forest a little too much. Others say his mother, a very attractive elvan movie star was wandering alone in the forbidden forest when she was raped by a tree. No one knows for certain, not even him because both parents vanished long before he was born.
Shunned by both Apples and Elves alike, he roamed the world as an outcast. Fearing he would never be loved or accepted, the young Appelf was moments from taking his own life, when he found Jesus and accepted him as his savior. Shortly after he discovered from an ancient tome that one of his parents was Jewish, quite possibly the tree.
And thus, the young appelf beings his life-long journey to gain acceptance by society... and to avoid having his head eaten.
