Hey everyone! : D Whoo, no school for me!

That's lame when people won't let you in, for dumb reasons. Anyone in this guild should be able to join just about any RP on the web. Seriously, we're all talented writers, and out of all of us, I'M probably the one who writes the shortest posts, and even then it's still a few paragraphs because I know the rules. I hate internet snobs... /rant

I tried to get online last night, but I was so tired that I ended up just logging off without doing anything. Still stayed up all night playing games though... :/

@Mono||: I was up all last night too working on homework and looking up random videos. I swear I was watching "Kids React : Hatsune Miku" and they were watching the Tokyo concert and they were really confused how people are fans of a computer generated pop star. They were soo funny. This 5 year old said that Miku looks like a pokemon. Another kid about 10 or so said 'What happens if there is a power outage?"

It was structured and organized, high-maintenance, similar to the guild here. They were only inviting certain amounts of members and their writing length and quality was impressive. She's still learning how to use photobucket to edit pics and whatnot but the RP leader didn't like the samples she had to offer. I was only going to join if she had got in. Working 2 RPs like that would be beyond obnoxious for me. x_x
Maybe if she's interested she'll consider taking a look around here. It's always more fun when there's more people to talk and RP with. :3

@Mono||: Yeah it's totally odd, but you can't help but to be a fan. It's interesting to see how the graphics are too and the fact that it's a live band at least is neat. I wouldn't really use so much money to see it though I'm not a concert type of person.
@Vol||: Yeah the usual. It's understandable.
It's hard to ignore the cuteness of the pink ball that eats almost everything.

Only problem is, those "exclusive" RPs usually have just as much if not more down-time than a guild like this one. And I think that talent in writing should never play second fiddle to graphics editing. When I first started RPing when I was 14, we just had people posting in different colors. We didn't have to rely on pictures to define our characters either.
Dear God, I sound like an old woman D: But heck yes, more friends to talk to is always awesome!

I understand completely. Back when I first started it was all just text. No color, no pictures, nothing. And the guild was always active. It was fun and that is what mattered most.
I never put my post-beautifying ahead of my writing. The writing is what makes the story as it is, anything else is extra. But yeah, even though it just started now I can tell it's going to have some down-time as the posts continue to be of such a length.
They weren't snobs about it, they were just holding expectations that didn't work for her. I'm trying to find her an RP with a friendlier community (just like this one) so that she can get comfortable with the people behind the characters as she goes. It makes the story more enjoyable when you've got the people to talk to behind the scenes.

though she may just want to have a break from roleplaying in general, until she gets used to her job. ¯(´~｀)/¯

i haven't been in one in AGES.
mainly because whenever i'm in the mood to roleplay in one, all the active ones... well, suck LOL.

Forum RPs can be obnoxious sometimes. They die off like flies unless you get really active and dedicated members. Those aren't as common as they used to be.
I'll send her a text and see if she'd like to take a look around. I've shown her what the posting and such is like here and I believe she likes the thought of being in a "Daily-Life"-esque RP. I can certainly let you know what her answer is. If she's wanting to know more, I'll introduce you to her. :]
I know that she still wants to work at least 1 good RP while she works. She just got a job at Dunkin' Donuts so she's getting used to the early mornings and work routine. But she loves to write. I'll talk to her and see what's on her mind.
I've been in a few supernatural school RPs... but either they've sucked or they died off super fast. sweatdrop I'd love to make an RP of my own, but I question my dedication and motivation to follow through with it.

Yeah, I've only ever been to one live concert in my life, and it was cool and stuff, but I think I did some real damage to my ears. That would still be pretty cool though :3

Yeah, well I hope you can find someplace that she'll fit in :3 I love this guild because it's the first one I joined where I actually felt like a part of the community. The other ones were either too big to be noticed, so small that everyone knew each other already, or were so poorly organized that it was pointless. Everyone should be in a guild like this!

There's hope.
But I agree. When I first joined this guild it became really easy to make friends with everyone here. It was nice to feel right at home even though I felt like a newbie. ><;;
I hope she has the chance to get that same experience when she RP searches and makes new friends here on Gaia.
