(( oh I know Lyric but when it comes to molten metal though it's temp may be dropping fast there is one very nice thing about it. It takes so long for the metal to cool down to where it jsut catches fire of soemthing that it usually jsut melts whatever it touches with in a very short time span. In the case of skin and muscle though dead it may be, it is still not something that would hold up to molten metal for long, 8 rivets worth each rivet being about a pound of metal each melted to a molten state and left to hit a target spread out in about the diameter of a dinner plate... That's gonna do ALOT of damage by the time it cools only enough to burn that thing will be lucky to still be standing at all because any new flesh it may try will be instantly melted as it forms. -nods nods- ))

The creature lets out an anguished moan and thrashes around. Those not in sealed suits would smell the overpowering stench of charred flesh. Amazingly, it would peel the cooling metal off, though it was certainly slowed down for the moment dealing with the rivets. The hideous burn wounds left behind would begin regenerating though as soon as the heated metal was gone.

Watching his radar, Mio taps Misha's shoulder and points to the two openings that the incoming creatures would exit from if they try to flank. Gun wavering slightly, he paints it at one of the vents.

Mining Charge: Think of this device like a backwards Claymore. Point the front end toward you and place the back end on whatever you want blown to peices. Great for blasting holes in just about anything blow-upable... =P ))

Spams arrows had managed to take out a few of the bladed Shriekers, but the real problem with her arrows was the rate of fire. While the Regenerator was still peeling off the metal slugs, the Shriekers were closing the distance.

"It...might work," Mio tells Misha, ""Judging from how its arm rotten away when separated, enough trauma to separate it into small enough bits might overwhelm its ability to regenerate."

Remembering Aleron's lecture on the goop, he'd tell Miya, "Fire, acid, or a sonic cleansing should work." Honestly, he was focusing too much on the questions to keep his mind off on what was coming at them.

"Soooo....my fire will be better used to aid Miya...?" Aurora asks, she was feeling a little lost...

(( no worries, AnCat. figured the arrows wouldn't do much good against those many opponents. ))

"Don't think anyone has acid, but...sounds like Aleron should use his sonic blaster thing on that regenerating thing. If we can take care of that thing, then we can use the more rapid-fire weapons and the flamethrower on the large group." The medic spoke quickly, but thoughtfully. Even though she likely wasn't as good a tactician as Aleron, she could still come up with a good plan if given the right information. Her bow was still drawn, almost as though daring any of the bladed-things to get too close for comfort.
