Altan laughed at Evermore, purring loudly. He had the biggest smile possible on his face, and his eyes had closed. It felt so nice to be given attention and complimented. Of course, he preferred to be called beautiful, but cute worked too.
Aurora giggled still. "He truly is, is he not? A real sweetheart." Which reminded her... Her mother loved cats. She would be ecstatic to learn that Aurora now had a familiar that was, technically, a cat. She may even want to visit... Who knows? Aurora certainly wouldn't mind if her parents came to visit.

Ever giggled softly and nodded to Aurora's question. "He is! You are so lucky."
A few moments later, though, she sighed reluctantly and slowly handed Altan over to Aurora. "Well, guess we have to get to class now. Anytime you want to wander, though, Altan, feel free to come and visit me!"

Aurora gently took Altan, who sighed slightly at the loss of such wonderful attention, but purred again when Aurora began to stroke his fur underneath his chin. Mmm... I most certainly will, he said, opening his eyes enough so that he could see her.
Then Aurora nodded her head. "I will see you later." Right now, she had to go to theatre, one class that she had every day by special request so that she could help teach other students. Her shapeshifting abilities were the most useful in that class anyway. She began to walk away with a slight wave and a flick of the tail from Altan.

Ever smiled brightly at Altan and nodded as he said he would certainly visit her. Awesome!
And when Aurora and Altan said goodbye to her, she waved back at them and then turned to Akira. "Well, guess we better go, too!"
She and Akira began to head toward their class on the 1st floor.

Secret Kirari Arielle nodded at Kindra. "Alright. Please, take a seat." She motioned to the chairs in front of her desk. Then, reseating herself, she pulled out the same list of classes that she had used earlier that day--oh, how long ago that was--with Caroline, and a second, smaller parchment. "You'll have to fill this out for me, please, and get a parent or guardian's signature. If you don't have anyone, then your own signature will do just fine." She pointed to the smaller paper, and handed it and a self-replenishing quill to Kindra. She sat down in the chair sitting in front of the headmistresses desk as she instructed, and then proceeded to fill out the paper with the pen that was handed to her. After she finished filling it out she signed it herself seeing as she had no legal guardian or parents (she doesn't count her dad since he walked out on the family). "How soon will I be able to start classes and when shall I receive a uniform?" She asked politely after filling out the paper and handing the pen back.

Arielle took the pen and paper, looking it over briefly. "You may start classes as soon as tomorrow; I will need to register you into our books, but it will only take a short amount of time." Then, pointing to the door Caroline had used earlier, she said, "If you'll go into that room, you can try on the uniform pieces there and find what fits best. When you are finished, please stand in front of the mirror. It will take your measurements and send them to the sewing classes. It will take at least a few days--perhaps a week--for you to receive your uniform." It seemed that the sewing classes would have quite a lot of work the next few days.
"When you are done, you can change back into your regular clothes and come out. We'll figure out your classes then."

Aphrodite paused in her writing as she heard the bell. Well, it’s time. I suppose I should call her in… she thought. Sorting through her recently written call-slips, she found the one bearing Evermore’s name. With a wave of her fingers, the note folded itself neatly and disappeared. It would appear to Evermore directly, and could only be opened by the intended recipient. Not that it contained anything super-top-secret… it was just the fact that mortals were so darn nosy. Sighing, she set about making her final preparations. She dimmed her aura considerably so that it was only slightly above the normal amount for a ‘mortal’. Aphrodite didn’t want anyone onto her on her first day.

Ever was sitting in her desk during her first class when a note suddenly appeared in her hand. It caused her to jump slightly, but no one, thankfully, noticed since she was in the back row. She unfolded the paper and read it.
Afterward, she stood up from her desk, swung her school bag onto her shoulder, and walked up to the front of the class, trying to ignore all the stares. She gave the note to the professor, since the note said that giving this note to the professor would count as a permission slip, and then left the class when her professor nodded to her.
Ever was happy she would get to meet the new school counselor. She always liked meeting new people.
Finally, Ever was on the third floor and in front of the counselor's office. She softly knocked on the door and entered when a soft voice told her to.
Ever came in with a soft smile on her face, a little shy. She may be a Fury and she may enjoy meeting new people, but she was still shy at times, especially around staff.
"Hello, Miss DiTe. I received your note about wanting to see me."

So this was Evermore... and Aphrodite was not overly impressed. She was mildly pretty, but not unduly so. She was not seemingly assertive, but shy. She was, however, polite. "Yes!" she said, smiling warmly at the girl. She felt no ill will towards her... she didn't feel anything at all. Just empty. "As you seem to know, I'm Miss DiTe! I replaced Mr. Burns as councilor since he retired last year. I just wanted to get to know you a little... and possibly save you from the boredom of first period?" she said, laughing merrily. She gestured to the plush seat in front of her desk. "Please... sit. Do you want to hear a little about me first, or would you prefer to tell me a little about you?"

Ever sat down on a couch in the office and nodded to what Miss DiTe said. "Well, I only knew your name because you told me it in your note. And thanks for getting me out of first period, though, I actually like English Lit. It's pretty interesting. We're reading Homer's 'The Odyssey'."
Then, she shrugged in reference to Miss DiTe's question. "Uh, it really doesn't matter to me. I'm pretty boring, so you might want to start first, that's fine."
She laughed softly and folded her hands in her lap.

Kindra got up from the chair and walked towards the door the headmistress pointed out and entered it. She closed the door behind her and proceeded to find a pair that fits. After she found a uniform that fit she stood in front of the mirror as was instructed and soon felt a tingling sensation which she just assumed was caused by the mirror taking her measurements. She then changed out of her cloths and exited the room and back into the headmistresses office, but when she walked back in her armor was gone, revealing the cloths she had underneath, and in her hand was her sword which was now encased in a sheath made of metal. She then sat down at the chair and propped her sword against the side of her chair.

'The Odessy'... she wasn't really in that one. Shrugging it off, she smiled. "I assure you, I'm not that much better! Let's see..." she paused, thinking. "I was born in Greece a while back, and I lived there for most of my life. I moved with my folks to America when I was eighteen, and I've lived there ever since. I developed my affinity for magic at eleven years old, and I found Bai Ching through a cousin of mine later in life," she explained, "... so I never attended school here." She paused and took some chocolate from her desk for herself, then offered some to Evermore. "I'm a hopeless romantic, and along with that comes hopeless cheesiness. I like to read, and I like sweets... flowers too!" she added, chewing on a chocolate. "My favorite colors are pink, red, and gold. I hate romantic comedies (there's nothing comedic nor realistic about them!), and I like animals," she rounded off. "That's about it for me," she laughed, "any questions? Oh! I forgot. You can call me Aphira."

Arielle smiled at Kindra, though it was a worn, tired smile. "Alright. Now, you're required to take History, Math, Science, and English, but you have three other slots to fill for the minimum requirement." Handing over the large list of available classes, she continued. "This will tell you all the classes you can choose from."

Ever smiled at Aphira and nodded. "Ok, Aphira. And you live in America when you're not working here? That would be cool! I've never been there, though I've been interested in it. The first place I want to see is the large forest elven home that is relatively close to Bai Ching. The Headmistress talks about it every once in awhile. She's part elf, and she said she's visited the village, which is the largest elven village in the world, with a Bai Ching student named Lin in the past."
She then reached over and took one of the chocolates that Aphira offered to her. "Thank you. And, I'm not big on romance. It might be due to my age, but I think that there's so much more to life than being in love and attaching yourself and investing so much of yourself into another person. I mean, friends are great, but more than that? I'd rather finish school first, probably complete the degree program offered here at Bai Ching, get a job, and then possibly consider starting a family with someone. No rush, you know?"
Especially since she was going to be alive forever, she added to herself.
