She starts to sing a sweet song to herself to make the labor easier, dreaming of when, if she was lucky enough, to become a geisha, and be like those beautiful women she saw on the street and in the okiya. (post 14)

Amaya bowed to the head geisha and followed the other girl outside. There were many tree's outside, but she just walked in the footsteps of the maid ahead of her. She felt out of place next to the other maid, even this girls looks outstripped her own. The maid halted in front of a tree and began to trim, Amaya followed suit. A sweet tune emited from the girls lips, as she sang their pain away.

Amaya felt a flush kreeping to her cheeks, and shyness spreading through her like wildfire fueld by the wind.
"Konichiwa," she heard herself say, "I am Amaya, and I must agree it is a truly lovely day." She made her voice as steady as she could. Hoping that one day, she would find bravery and it would become her.

Amaya smiled, thinking it was a hopeless task to atempt conquer her shyness. But she could not help taking a liking to the girl, she was happy and bold. A smile spread across her face, as she nodded.
"Friends," Amaya repeated, "Yes, I would very much like to be your friend."

Amaya giggled and turned magenta. She felt extremely happy, like a new world had just oppened up to her.
"I am pleased to," she said in between her giggles "May I ask you you're name, if we are to be friends we might as well get to know one another."
She spoke the words easily, she never knew it could be this simple. She turned her attention back to the tree and gave it a 'Snip'.

"My name is Sakura." I said gently, secretly bursting inside that i made a new friend, "Can u wait 2 become one of those elegant maiko and geisha? I am so anxious. I hope i can become a maiko then become an amzing geisha." (post 18 )

"The maiko and geisha are most luxurious and stunning, It has been my dream for many years to become one." Amaya said "I'm anxious also, I haven't the faintest idea what any of the rules are."
Amaya bent to her knees and began to pull the weeds up that were around the tree. She thought she may as well to it while she was here, it would save her and Sakura the trouble later.

"believe me, the more you talk to people the more you will learn." I said to the girl, and i slowly bent down to help pull weeds up, "And when you become a maiko you will learn alot. I hope my day of becoming a maiko is soon." (post 19)

"Becoming maiko seems like a long journey for me," Amaya said tugging at a particularly arguementative weed. "if not impossible."
She looked around, the tree was trimmed, the weeds were pulled, their job was done.
Her feet began to carry her inside and she ushered Sakura to follow her.

I took a look at the tree and saw that it looked even more stunning than be4. Then I followed Amaya inside. I was pleased that we did such a good job. "i am sure u will make an amazing maiko." (post 20)

Ayame made her way to the sliding door leading to the courtyard with a rag in her hand. She opened the door and removed the dust from it with the rag.

"You will make a better maiko than I," Amaya said "Your beauty knows no bounds, which would make you an amazing geisha."
At the end of these words Amaya's stomached growled, she just realize how hungary she was. "Where do we go to dine?" She asked Sakura.
