Fenrir Graveheart rusbob13 Fenrir Graveheart rusbob13 Ana Helios Ugh...been practicing judo with my sister all morning, first the fencing and now this...why does she want to beat me up so badly?! gonk On the upside I've mastered the art of the Yoko Ukemi and the Tobi Ukemi biggrin I always wanted to try fencing =/ Judo sounds ok, but I'd rather do Aikido =P This, but trust me fencing isn't all its cracked up to be unless you just do it for fun. I tried it and fencing has way too many rules to stop you from doing anything fun. >.> Really? Like what kind of rules? You can only take this many steps, you have to remain in a certain stance unless you're doing a particular strike, you can't toss your weapon, you can't strike the legs, you can't strike the face-mask, you can't disarm, ect. What the hell kind of crap is that? =/

People make fun of it, and for safety reasons the weapons are usually made out of densely layered foam, but the people in it are actually very good swordsmen because they study and practice it.

There are a few well-known groups that kinda travel across the states like some kinda concert and hold their get-togethers in parks and camp-sites. I almost went to check it out once but then something came up and I lost my chance. >.>
