So production on We Will Rise As One has come to a halt. Between not being able to find the right engine for what we want to do and too many conflicting needs in scripting, it's getting put back into the "save for later" closet. (And trust me, there's plenty of stuff in there...)
So for now, we decided to switch to something on a slightly smaller scale (Thanks to my constant hint dropping) and we're now developing a fighting game. I have a 40 character roster already planned out with 28 of the fighting styles worked out in my head. And if things go right and I can get my hands on that damned Unreal 3 engine, then the game mechanics I want to put in it will work flawlessly.

I shoulda known my luck wasn't that good. They want 35K just in royalty fees, plus payment for the engine itself (50K). Yea... I ain't got that money.
Guess that leaves plan B and C; find another engine, and/or just build our own.

True, I think the cheapest I've been able to find are 100-200, but that's not including royalties. Probably would be best just to make our own.

Eh, what exactly is the Fallout games again? I am not much for FPS or war games, though there are those few I like. Though I still am enjoying GTA 4, I am currently stuck on the mission where you have to deal with Faustin's Daughter, and you have to chase down her boyfriend on a bike. As for SC3, the Chronicle of Swords was better yes, but I had issues with some of the missions being far too unfairly matched to the point that it was a friggin joke. Like in Chronicle 16, I believe, where one of the towers has Yunseong and Talim, with Whirlwind in effect. I hated whirlwind for two reasons in SC#: for one, it did not affect the opponent, just you. And secondly, and the biggest reason, was that, the whirlwind began pushing you before you could even control, as soon as you appeared onscreen, you were already being pushed to the edge, while the game announced "Ready,......Start!" Not to mention the boss of that chapter was cheap, you cannot guard, but he can, and the constant guarding was what quickly made that a pain for me. Of course, the real reason I will never play Chronicle of Swords again, is the bug that crashes your memory card, which happened recently to Jayson's(Which is basically my second memory card) It pissed me off, I had many hours in many games on that memory card, and it all was gone.
As for SC4, I agree, the bonus character were nothing but clones, but as for character creation, I liked that it now added something to your character. Making my Annabeth(My custom character) took some time, and at the moment, she has Soul Edge(Astaroth's, since I am best with him) and some equips that boost her HP and Gauge, so now her HP is at 119%, while defense is 104% and attack is a measly 59%. Which is nice for quickly gaining Critical Finishes. Speaking of which, I finally hit 100 Critical Finishes this morning, so I now have 34 acheivements under my belt for that game. Tower of souls is annoying for the most part, mainly due to some retardedly cheap requirements. Still trying to clear floors 34-36, the one where you are timed and most of the opponents have Auto Grapple Break S. That and the treasure chest requirements are vague, though I only get gold now from them since I have almost all of the equipment. Getting 450,000 points in arcade mode wasn't too hard, I just used a Critical Finish for ever battle. Either way, I like SC2 better than 3, and so far, I like 4 better than 3. Though I do miss the Voice clips in character profiles... Jayson has been working on Infinite Undiscovery, which sofar seems to be pretty cool of an RPG, though I am wondering how long this game is, as it is an XBox 360 game spanning TWO DISCS. And we both have been working on Devil May Cry 4. I don't care for the story, never did, but I like the gameplay. In other news, I may be getting more money soon, as the bank is now trying to screw me over. They are saying I am overdrawn by over $400, from what I spent the night I bought the 360 and groceries. Because there should've only been 300ish on there, but they made some sort of error, and now are trying to make me pay for it. Another bank tried to do the same thing to Jayson two years ago, and he ended up getting 2 grand settlement, so he is going to help me fight this. In other news, Louis recently found out he contracted Chlamydia(Sp?) from when he screw that fat chick where we used to live. Sad, everyone I have spoken to who use to be his friend agrees, he is completely gay, and that is why he is desparate to sleep with any girl he can. Mahana told me he couldn't orgasm with her, and even I, a man who is 85% gay, can orgasm with a girl! But anyway, it bothers me not, as he really isn't my friend anymore, he has basically thrown away all of his friendships because of his dense ego and refusal to accept certain truths about himself.
Later peeps.

The Fallout series as a post nuclear apocalypse RPG. Bethesda(developers of The Elder Scrolls) made Fallout 3. So it's an FPS with many RPG elements melded together into a great game. You still have melee weaponsand the ability to become a melee class fighter, it's just harder to do since most enemies rely on ranged weapons. So you always want to dual weapon class. Me I chose three weapon classes. Light(pistols/rifles), Heavy(minigun/flamer/Fat Man/missile launcher), and energy weapons(laser[pistol/rifle/Gatling laser?]/plasma[pistol/rifle]/alien). But since the level cap is 20, you have to plan our your character. That may sound lame, but you chose perks each level. Most of which are stackable. So if you could go on till say, level 100, you could have a god character and they didn't want that. Needless to say it remains a challenge to the very end.
And if you buy it or even rent it for that matter, make sure you develop your character's repair skill. It and medicine are by far the most important development stats in the game. You can get by without lockpick(opening locks, obviously) and science(hacking computers). You also may want to dabble in speech and barter since they lower buying prices and raise your selling prices.
Nearly finished with Bremen. I'm on chapter 75. I find it hella funny how much Ryo likes Romio.

I hope they don't obliterate another childhood classic. That wouldn't be cool. Google the actresses. Why might Venus be played by an Argentinian?
