I heard it doesn't work with women.

But seriously, Grappling isn't a ''******** headache'' when the guy you're playing with understands it, and isn't too complicated about it.

''I'm on top, side-mount''

''Then I'm going to push you up and bring my knees into your chest, sliding back to full guard''

But if you're the type to come up with complex, made up s**t, then it's going to be a headache.

The problem with grappling is not everyone knows the terms, and then when people try to explain it, they don't always do so well.

Deitric does plenty of brawler-grappling, but that's because it's usually much easier to explain simple grabs and holds than try to get into more complex or intricate grappling stuff where not everyone knows what's what.

I don't even grapple with people anymore, cuz I know what'll happen.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, but I figure, I most certainly have the advantage at striking over the majority in this tournament. If not, everyone.

Full-guard, for one. From a ground position, I have no idea what that would be. I imagine others wouldn't, either.

Grappling itself isn't bad. It's people's application of it. Obviously, some do it well. Others, not so much.

In any case, you haven't done anything the whole tournament. So do something in the finals and keep the fight going; at least then you can say you actually contributed somehow and keep things the ending round from sinking any faster.

The way things look Redemption's gonna lose this one. And since HNG lost to Mythos... twice... that means that he would have come in at exactly 3rd.
