Katrea found himself shocked at the queen’s sharp and commanding voice. Katrea really understood how she could still be queen at her age she was strong, stronger then Katrea could ever hope to be.
“My queen, I shall head out now to the island and get are men ready there as well as myself.”
Katrea then looked down at the boy who had fallen to sleep by all this it seemed. Katrea spoke out again.
“could I request to take this boy there, his family was killed in the battle and his home burnt down.”

The queen nodded and said yes with a saddened look.
“So many have lost today, maybe the boy can work on the island and find a new home. Gearo, go with Katrea now, I am sure Kyana will join you later. ”
“Yes sir”
Gearo walked out the room followed by katrea

Passing through the outer edges of the city Zetsuei was now carrying a dark pod which to his assumig was the same kind that the child was born from. Entering the castle ground he stopped using his flash steps and began to run to the temple which he had left Maki with Joan.
"Maki, its me Zetsuei. You have to believe me, Im doing this for your own good.
Stopping by the castle he looked around frantically trying to remember which way he had gone before when Katrea told him. Remembering the stained glass he saw the tall steeple not to far away and sprinted towards it.
"Hang on Maki"

Knights have entered the town and put up posters of recruitment.

To all that will answer we are recruiting all willing hands to the aid of the mist continent against the on coming attack of the mackina faction army. They have come here unprovoked waging war against us and the queen and taking many good people who have fought valiantly to protect those they love and hold dear. These people bring weapons and destruction to are fair land and it seems only want to wipe us out, but as a people of strength and honour we will not let them succeed. We need able bodies, soldiers and knights to train and help the mist continent protect the people and fight for are lands. It will not be an easy task but I promise any that would come to fight by are sides they will carry are full support. We can not allow them to destroy the peace are queen has made for the mist continent. We ask for your aid in are time of need to become knights of Arvardia and take up your swords for the fight.

While on the castle grounds the vines which cared for the pod sensed the child's return and upon seeing Zetsuei rush near reached out to grab the pod and yanked it from his arms. As the pod fell on the ground the petrified shell began to crumble as the vines of darkness quickly pulled the pod towards the ground near its roots where they could protect it until the master's return.

Katrea was walking to the eagle bay with Gearo he was getting ready to live but then got a funny feeling deep inside his heart.
"Gearo, could you take the boy back to the island and let the boy rest in my tent. ive just got to go see to something"
"ok, what’s up?"
katrea didn't answer but grunted a little before running off to the town. katrea found himself looking around at people talking off the war and reading the posters now up, some even signed up to the army. Unsure what he was really looking for he kept looking down streets and alleyways. Suddenly he came to one with a dark man standing there and something being pulled into the ground.
katrea ran down and knew the face of the man.
"Zetsuei"

Clenching his fist a sword appeared as he beagn to hack at the vines hoping to cit enough of them away to give him to time to grab the pod before it could be taken in to the earth. Hearing a familiar voice he recongnized it as Katreas
"Katrea, I need your help! Can you go get the body of the woman I was carrying early that Joan took. Please dont ask questions, there isnt much time."
Continuing to hack at the vines, he hoped Katrea could retrieve Maki's body before the pod was taken below the earth where he couldnt reach it or somehow get Maki's soul out from the pod.

The vines tried to hold on tightly but it was running out of its own dark blood and also began to petrify encasing the pod in its grasp it froze. The young girl's skin began shrivel further as the holy magic began to consume the darkness. "Why has Shinja abandoned me?" she thought to herself. "Why are all the people I've met wanting to bring me harm? Was I a bad person?"

"Joans not going to let me just take her, whatever it is you want you will have to take it to her."
Katrea looked at the soil as it was moving like something burrowing down. He pulled his sword out in one hand and left his shield on his side.
"what’s going on. Why did you come back to the castle?”

As the last of the dark blood began to fade the body began to petrify as the soul of Maki escaped the child's chest and began to move about looking for away to leave this petrified shell. Her memory completely unlocked and all began revealing itself to include its experience as a child and screamed. The pod began glowing a faint blue light, "where am I? How did I get here? Am I dead?"

"Nevermind Katrea, I will just have to do it myself"
Zetsuei said bluntly as he hacked the rest of the vines away from the pod and picked the pod up and began passed Katrea completely ignoring him.
"Time never seems to be on my side"
He said as he approached the temple doors, turning around he ran his back into the doors making them burst open as he looked around for Joan or the man that helped her
"JOAN, come quick"

Inside the Pod what's left of the child began moving around inside swaying back and forth. The soul still working its way out of the hole left by the Holy spell.

katrea ignored the things that were said and followed Zetsuei. He ran fast and katrea found it hard to keep up through the winding streets. At the temple he saw Zetsuei smash his way in. katrea ran in with the dim lit temple feeling ever cold and silent, only the loud voice of Zetsuei’s anger could be heard.
"What is that thing you’re holding?"
katrea then listened out for Joan’s footsteps but there were none.
"joan, I need your aid."
katreas voice also echoed through the halls as the sound of wind followed. He began to make a fast walk to the monk’s room in which Joan was most likely.
"Follow me and talk Zetsuei."

"Its younger body of Maki, Andreas took her too far from the castle and hert body began to fall apart. Now what is left of the dark blood inside her is trying to keep her soul from breaking out. I need to find Maki's actual body and quick before this pod breaks apart"
Zetsuei said as he followed Katrea deeper in the temple.

katrea stopped at the door to the room he opened it and saw Joan by makis bed side holding her hand. katrea was about to speak but then he stopped himself and closed the door.
"Do you know what you’re doing, what i mean is can you put her back the way she was? What if something goes wrong and her soul can move on to the after life."
katrea stood there thinking over his own morals. Were they killing a girl to save a woman? He began to open the door fully and lowered his head.
"make sure you know what your doing Zetsuei, people aren’t meant to play god of other’s lives."
