HockeyGirl17 The fact that you dink Sain John city water and are still alive scares me...... eek The water in St John is actually top notch, you know. It just tastes a bit like chlorine, I hear. However, you can get rid of that taste if you leave the water in the fridge overnight, with a cover, and about an inch of space left between the water and the top of the jug its in. That allows for the chlorine to evaporate out of the water, and then it'll taste better.

I used to put it in the fridge inside a sideways water bottle and it was pretty good, now I'm used to straight from the tap. My roommate is smarter and just boils it.

The water is Grand-Bay is pretty good. My water came from a well, though, and we had lots of problems with getting enough water. sad
The city water in Fredericton isn't too bad if you put it through a Brita filter.

The city water in Fredericton isn't too bad if you put it through a Brita filter. Drinking it straight is gross, when I go to school (FHS) I can't even drink out of the fountains, it's nasty. We live on a well so at home I'm fine!

Although, I was listening to a cbc radio show about water quality and related topics, and the guest was the guy who is in charge of St. John's water system. He said Fredericton had great water, but I don't like the taste of it myself. I drink it though.

Yea, City water most places smells wierd because of the clorine, but without it I would not drink it!

in Edmundston, the water was great. almost didnt smell like chlorine... but we use a well so razz
