Not liking each other means, well, not liking each other. ^^

She really does think all the posturing is due to him being insecure in his masculinity and, sadly, is likely to continue to think that because on a psychological level, many males who constantly assert their strength and power, or try lord such things over those they perceive as being "weaker" than them, are doing so because they are uncertain of their own manhood and feel the need to constantly assert it to bolster their own confidence. 8< That is just....how she feels about him, sadly. That may not be accurate for his characterization, but that is how he comes across to Angela given their interaction and his behavior. And the doodle was simply her impressions of him. I'm sure his opinion of her is equally low. And that is fine. I know she is a crankly little bint who feels her attitude makes up for her lack of size and ability to intimidate people. She has a huge chip on her shoulder and takes it out on other people. So I know that not everyone will like her. And that doesn't really bother me. She wasn't meant to be the sort of character everyone would be impressed with, and like. =)

I just wanted to tell you it so you don't use the masculinity thing on the doodles. If you got him mad enough he'd provably explain the situation on why he acts like that and then say he's on the verge of attacking. But I don't think you would or should trouble yourself with that. The masculinity bothered me on terms of male friends not wanting to see their friend be calked out or accused of having berries instead of apples. And since it's my character its like me friend in a way.

But the fact that Angela thinks he has "berries instead of apples" isn't going to change. Whether she draws jokes about it or not, her posts are still going to be peppered with it, undoubtedly. =w= I could have easily said "Angela drew a doodle making fun of Hiro's uncertain manhood" just as easily as actually drawing it in MS paint--it was just funnier in paint. Would you still have been offended if I had just written it out? o.O; Because I'm not in the habit of altering my characters' perceptions and opinions to avoid offending people, anymore than I expect other RPers to pander to my feelings and avoid stepping on my toes. I hope you understand. <3

I don't know what you're definition of "over do it" is but I'm going to play her 100% in character and that is all there is to it. o3o After all, we're talking about her opinion and thoughts and personal doodles---not something that will physically harm or impact your character in any way. <3
