sowwie Sephis, I tend to get a little nit-picky when comparisons are being drawn between stuff in the RP and stuff in mainstream comics/movies. I find it lacks creativity in the RP if someone is purposefully mimicing something from the mainstream entertainment, but then if a comparison is drawn between mainstream and the RP where it was unintentional it makes me think someone might have thought that the mainstream was being copied intentionally and that's why the comparison is being made. I guess that's why I try to avoid comparisons at all when it's on the subject concerning someone's creativity just to avoid any implications or anything like that.
I'm sooooo happy to see you back, K! You have been missed in and out of the RP. You bring something really special to where you go and I'm looking forward to seeing you around a bit more when things settle down for you. It's great to know that you're still interested in hanging out with us in the virtual space.
I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother, though. When my grandmother passed it was very hard as she was being cared for with Dymentia as well, and you always feel like there's a chance that they're going to pull through and keep living forever.
On the flip side, how fantastic is it that your baby will be born on July 4th? You're a major patriot, aren't you? (at least it seemed that way with your know-how of the military, especially airforce) That's pretty terrific. Did you think about calling her Liberty at any point? Talk about a double entendre!
p.s.
no drunken orgies with Tes and me until after July 4th!

also; Attentionzors Lately we have had some troubles with RL making it difficult to post. It's been more difficult for some rather than others, and with the end of school coming near and some RL concerns to take care of, I know that there will be a couple less regular posts coming from some members. Now, to take the stress off of them having to post for us to proceed, I am erecting a poll for you to vote in. Please vote. If you are ambiguous, please post that you are ambiguous to the matter so that I at least know that you have read the poll, considered the poll, and have decided not to be a part of the decision making process so that I don't feel like I'm ignoring you. OR if you need time to think about it, have questions, or even other suggestions, them post 'em! But don't post them here. I'll be quoting everyone in the other thread once it's up and you can post there.

Dementia sucks, it was painful watching her memory slowly slip away. My grandmas passing hit me really hard and it still make me cry when I think about it.
It had crossed my mind but Aurora is the name me hubby would have if he was born a she.

But she is in a far better place now. I like to think that she has rejoined the living Force. At the time I was reading a little blue Star Wars book called The Jedi Path that helped.

I think this was left intentionally vague, but do the Sith control Coruscant? Or are they just occupying the Jedi Temple? Or do they have their own territory throughout the galaxy? What is the significance behind the Sith presence in Long Night? Where in the galaxy is their seat of power?

Okay, so I know Tahiri kinda took the initiative in placing the Sith on Coruscant, but I'm still seeking clarification here. Are the Sith in control of a separate Empire? Or are there, say for example, Sith senators working within the Republic?

I believe the idea is the Sith are now in the position the Jedi were in plus the extra that they would no doubt have taken. Likely if you think what the Sith would do it is a safe bet it is done in this RP. The senate stands but functions as the Sith see fit, like Lady Robayn said as the rulers behind the thrown. I would think there would be Sith loyalist senators and also the Sith military would probably now be the policing force on Coruscant. Thats just me though.
