"He'll look happy soon enough," Svana assured Kira, leading the way, trusting the girl to get her fiance there in one piece.
Baldur finished retying his hair and flipped it over his shoulder. "He won't know what's going on unless we tell him, and judging by everybody else in the room, I doubt that's going to happen. I doubt Svana will hurt him, either. She wants to blow off steam. It'll work better for her if he can actually do the job. Pain and fear tends to negate things."
Still. He felt a little bad.

"This is every questionable straight man's dream," Kira said. "He'll calm down and be happy, I'm sure."
Blair couldn't find the words to say to them. He just followed Kira and Svana up to the room. Would he even be enough for her and Urt?
"And... If he can't do the job?" Claudette asked nervously.

Mynoris frowns slightly. "There is always going to be bad people I'm afraid. Not much anyone can do about it. Even we Gods couldn't stop the mortals from tearing our universe apart," she says. "But, if he's smart, he'll likely be able to get out of it without too much injury, though emotionally he might not be the same person. Men...well...whatever their minds think their bodies will often work in their favor in a situation like this. If he can relax, even for a moment, even for a little bit, nature may just be kind enough to take over." She shrugs her shoulders. "The elf shouldn't have gotten involved, but it looks like she's got her own issues to take care of. According to him," she points to Baldur, "she has a lot of them."

Leading the way to the room, Svana turned back with a wink. "Oh, without a doubt."
Baldur cast Claudette an apologetic expression. "Remember what she said earlier about me probable being a lousy lay? She's got five hundred odd years of experience to back up her claim that she's not. She probably has a few tricks up her sleeve to get him to seal the deal."
And considering her intention was to teach him how to seal a deal with Kira, she would probably liberally employ those skills.
"Svana does what she does," he added in agreement to Mynoris.

Kira pushed Blair into the room, and she closed the door behind Svana. "Do as she says, and you'll be fine."
"I always thought it would be me and him," she said quietly. "Before Kira got involved, he and I were really close. But now... It's this. He's a different person now. I don't want him to be more warped."

With an impish grin, Mynoris leans forward slightly. "So, are you?" she asks Baldur, chuckling. Glancing over her shoulder, she nods to Claudette. "This must be very difficult for you then if you have that much of a history," she observes. "People have gone to war for less, but from the sounds of things, you're already at war." She sighs. "Your enemy may be a powerful woman, but she doesn't have the makings of a good leader."

Baldur grunted humorlessly. "It's doubtful having a romp with Svana will do that much to him. It might even work in your favor someday," he suggested. It was probably the wrong thing to say, but he wasn't going to lie, Svana was probably teaching him something useful.
To Mynoris, he only laughs. "Probably. It's not really my problem, though, is it?"

Claudette sighed and said, "I care about him deeply. All I want is for his happiness. I told him that when Kira came along. But it's not hard to tell he's miserable. Or at least. I can tell he is. Kira is an awful person. No one would be doing this to someone they love and adore and want to marry." Claudette's heart was aching.
"I don't care if he's inexperienced. It's better than being traumatized like this."
What were they even doing to him?

"It might be to someone someday," Mynoris said. "Have you had many complaints? From someone who would know, that is," she amends, which clearly excludes Svana as far as she can tell.
To Claudette she says, "Sex is pretty natural a thing. This isn't the best way to go about it, but I don't know how traumatized he will be. If Svana is actually interested in being pleased, well, it's in her best interests to work with him. The question really is whether she's more interested in helping Kira...or helping herself."

Finally something he could answer. "I can definitely say that Svana is one hundred percent more interested in helping herself. Kira is a means to Blair, and Blair is a means to an end. Don't mistake her for being charitable."
"No complaints, but Svana is right. I've only ever been with human women. And a good many of them were paid to tell me what I wanted to hear."

Mynoris nods her head. "I figured as much," she says. "It's just the impression I got. Though, I can't say I'm not damned selfish myself." She nods to Baldur. "Ah. Well, you should never get an opinion from someone you're paying," she says with a soft chuckle. "Do you think there would be that much difference between an elven lass and a human one? Or is that likely just a racial conceit of Svana's?"

((Ooc: Hey, Jade, is Blair super messed up? Like, did Svana and Urt rip him to peices or...? Just curious so I can pick back up with him when I'm off of work tonight))

((Well, Urt never showed up because I got too lazy to write him in, so Blair is probably fine. Svana knows what she's doing. He's probably exhausted, he probably has a few bruises and/or bites, probably at least one hickey (Svana can't help but mark her territory) and other than that he probably is ashamed at how much he enjoyed himself and the depravity of the things she probably convinced him to willingly do. If he was anybody else he might actually be smiling.))

Baldur wasn't sure what her interest in the quality of his bedroom skills were, be they academic or personal. "How am I supposed to know? I don't bloody care. I don't plan on risking my goods to any of those swamp elves if I can help it."
He wasn't even sure if he would stay with the elves long enough to find out, either. Once their business was concluded, he might just leave again and fall back into his former life. It hadn't been a bad life.

((OOC: Aw, poor Blair. I hope Svana wasn't too rough on him. I'm happy Urt didn't get to him, but Kira is proving to be more sadistic than I thought))
Blair ambled back into the room, his legs stiff and body hurting. His shirt was unevenly buttoned, his shoes were on the wrong feet, he was missing a contact so his eyes were two different colors, and his trousers were on backwards. His hair was messed up, and he had a haunted look on his face. Claudette ran to him.
"Blair," she said, "are you okay?"
"Claudette," he said, his voice hoarse and throat dry, "it was awful."
"He lies," Kira said. "He enjoyed it."
"It was meaningless," he said.
He was thrilled to see Claudette. Someone who understood he needed to be treated more gently and not be coerced into... Things. He threw his arms around her and swayed her back and forth, grinning for the first time. He was so happy he could literally kiss her. He had been through so much that day what with Kira basically threatening to make him do it and Svana who wasn't really all that bad, but she wasnt Claudette. She... Just wasn't Claudette. He didn't even know how Svana felt about him calling out Claudette's name, but he knew Kira was seething.
Claudette was leading him back to the table to help him adjust his clothes and treat the bruising, when he suddenly spun her around.
"Kira and Svana have all the time in the world. But you and I don't," Blair said and he pulled her close.
Both were blushing as Blair put his hand under her chin and gently tipped her head up to look him in the eye.
"I don't want to pretend anymore," he said, almost in a whisper as his lips met Claudette's.
Kira was spitting fire from her hands. It wasn't enough to burn down the cafe or harm anything in it, but she was going to burn them both.
"This is all YOUR fault!" She screamed at Svana.
