Jeremy smiled. "Well we'll have to. Otherwise, we'll never get the curse lifted."

"Clayton? Little baby Clayton's hurt? Oh no Tilly and Danny are BOTH going to be so cross. I better go find him." Ash stood up, and looked at Clone. "Where was he last? Will you take me there? Gina, call Tilly and Danny. Tell them what's happened."

Gina nodded, going over to the phone to make the calls.

Clone shifted nervously, clutching one of the bows on her dress and fiddling with it.

"Uh-- he got attacked by the wolf...it-- ...it was on the road the cafe I work at is on. I dunno if he's still there." She answered, staring downward. She hoped he was getting help, or was at least out of danger. He was bleeding a whole lot...

"Curse..." Clara murmured, staring at the map. She turned to Brutus, and pointed to where the desert was on the map so he could see. Maybe he'd recognize it?

"Wait-- curse? What curse?" Her father suddenly piped in, eyebrows furrowed. "Did something happen?" He looked to Jeremy, eyes narrowed.

((EDDDIIITTTEEED CAUSE I CHANGED MY MIND!))
Leon flew down and landed next to her on the pier. He looked out over the distance, frowning. "I don't want to stay here anymore. I... I don't think the order is for me." He said still looking out at the horizon. "I'm tired of giving them more chances."

"I fail to see how you've given the Order any chance," A voice came from behind them.

Peng looked at Leon with an expression of absolute displeasure. "You haven't given the Order any chance at all. Ever since we've met, all you've done is doubted it and rebelled against it. From the very beginning, they wanted to erase you, and despite my obligation to follow orders, I fought for you. But now I see why their tolerance was so low. From the very beginning, you never wanted to be here. Despite all that the Order has done for you, you resent it as if they ruined your life."

Peng's expression of absolute displeasure melted into an expression of hurt. "I was a fool. I shouldn't have fought your case. I should have let them erase you; then all of this would be avoided. At least then, you would have had the chance to start over. All your memories and every memory of you would have been erased. You would have been sent to a home, where hopefully someone would take you in and maybe you would have been happy, but as much as the Order wishes to make every ending a happy one it seldom happens. I knew the risks of this path, and I tried to keep you here. I didn't want you to end up..."

'The one problem with telling them everything is, will it ever be enough?'

Once Madeline ran out to stop Leon, Narco didn't seem at all surprised. It actually wasn't until Madeline left that Narco said the last part to Peng.

'What do you expect me to do, Narco?' Peng asked, completely exhausted and with no other idea as to what to do.

'Tell them everything,' Narco replied, 'And see if its finally enough.'

Peng sighed, looking at both Madeline and Leon. "I was ordered to kill my cousin, Isamu as one of my missions. Isamu was the only person that I... She was the most precious person to me, and her parents had been murdered in a gang feud, she lived with my family and myself. I paid no heed to that mission. I didn't kill Isamu. Instead, I told her what I was ordered to do and told her to run and hide while I tried to talk to the Order. She ran alright, but not before killing my parents who also worked for the Order. My parents, who fed her and cared for her. I saw her running from their bodies, and I couldn't understand it. The Order knew from the beginning what she was planning. They knew what she was going to do. She was a *****, a rapist and a murderer, and that is why I was ordered to kill her before she could hurt anyone. And I disobeyed."

Peng was a ghost; he couldn't truly feel pain, but he knew that this acceptance out loud of what he'd done weighed on him and he felt heavy. "Thats why I tried to make you see Leon, that the Order knows what its doing, and only asks you to trust it. Everything that they ask you to do is to protect innocent people and to protect yourself. I fought for you. I disobeyed again. If something were to happen to you, or if you were to become some sort of monster, I don't know what I would do."

Peng thought back about when they first met. He remembered Leon's first assignment, and how well he did for his first time. He thought about the couple times Leon almost made him laugh, the moments of happiness before their missions, like when Leon got to enjoy his pastry. Peng had saved Leon's life at least three times, and then he remembered how nice it was being bunked in Quyen's home. He was sure Leon didn't remember any of that. All Leon ever seemed to do was brood and overreact for the sake of brooding and overreacting.

"Until this point, all you did was shut down or obey with the intention of not enjoying anything. I don't understand why you hate me so much Leon, but if you are so unhappy with being part of the Order, then go ahead and start over again. Then you can forget me, Narco, Quyen, Mama, Madeline, and the entire Order. The people who cared for you while you were orphaned, the community that watched over you like a family, and the instructors that tried to teach you will all be erased, and we'll forget about you too. You can start all over again in a location you've never been to, at a place you'll never see us again. Then that will be that. But I will not stand by and accept your claims to have given us a chance, because that is the most dreadful insult to me and to the Order that I have ever heard. You never gave it a chance. You wanted it to fail. Because you couldn't stand the idea that we had the best intentions for you. Because you never stopped to think as to what our motives could have been, but instead hurt us and put the whole Order in danger for your own selfish whims."

Peng looked over at Madeline and softened his stare. "I greatly apologize for the trouble you've been put through, Madeline. Narco asked that I bring you back safely; he has a mission he wanted to give you."

Caleb looked at Phoebe, his power getting lower. He didn't know what he should do; before he knew exactly what he could do, but now she didn't have her memories.

Caleb cracked a vicious smile, "Phoebe," he whispered, digging his claws into her upper arm as he kissed her deeply. The mix of the pain of her arm and the pleasure from the kiss balanced his energy, then he pulled her hair as he tilted her head back, kissing her neck and liking it as if he was about to bite it. Ah, her pain and pleasure was like a drug, pulsing through his demonic blood and speeding up his dark heart. He embraced her, kissing her with every inch of passion he could muster, claws digging into her back. "I love you Phoebe, to my dying breath," he said as he sunk to the floor, exhausted, sick, and on the brink of insanity.

Caleb pecked her lips as quick as he could and started to walk towatds the Academy. "I have to find Dr. Hughes," Caleb said, not letting up on his fast pace for even a second.

"Oh, well you see, there was a wishing box in Ackrland, which of course had to be broken, and without my knowing, Clara brought a shard of the porcelain with her. Though I managed to retrieve the shard, it seems that Clara can see the spirit that cast the wish, and they can't very well pass on until their wish is fulfilled."

"Curse?" Grodin whispered, looking at the map. Then his bull eyes widened, "The wish." Then he looked out the window, suddenly at an urgency to get home. "Rochella..."

"I'm gonna go find him, Gina, call his parents now." Ash took Clone by the hand and with her instruction, went to where he was... But now he was gone. "Where, I don't see him." Ash looked at Clone, her eyes suddenly wide. "This is important... Was he a human or a tiger when he was being attacked?"

Madeleine had jumped with a gasp as she heard Peng's voice, she really wasn't pleased with him being here cause she knew he wouldn't be of any help to her and calming Leon down. She waited like she had been told to let him finish speaking, she turned back to Leon and knealt beside him so only he could hear her she prayed at least, "Just...please stick around at least a bit? maybe we can talk later.......................don't leave me alone in this" she said kissing his cheek before standing back up.

She nodded to Peng and started back to the Order, she didn't rush but she didn't take her time. Upon arriving back she mentally prepared for whatever Narco had in mind for punishment before entering the office.

Phoebe stood there, bewildered and frazzled. She hadn't pegged Caleb as the type for chaste kisses... or even kisses. But right before his lips met hers that was all she wanted him to do. It had been the only thought in her mind to be kissed. It was inexplicable. She didn't like Caleb, she just felt sorry for him, right?

Then why did it feel like she'd just been electrified with every nerve still tingling and her skin heating up with a blush? Why did she wish it had been more than a peck? Why did she feel so anxious and dissatisfied?

She wanted more.

The thought blindsided her and she actually swayed on her feet. What was going on with her? The present Phoebe didn't like Caleb the way the past Phoebe did. That was impossible. Past Phoebe was gone, no matter what little bits lingered at the back of her mind and consciousness

And yet...

There was a pull between them, like a magnetic force that drew her to him. Not to mention, and she could finally admit it to herself, she was rabidly attracted to the demonic being. She wanted to know every little thing about him that the previous Phoebe did. In fact, she wanted to be better than the previous Phoebe. She wanted to replace her past self.

And she wanted Caleb..

Leon listened to Peng's words. He didn't know how he felt. He blushed when he was kissed and looked away. After finally getting his act together he stood up and stared at Peng. "You're still wrong a little. While I probably haven't given it a fair chance, you don't understand what my problem with it is. The order is probably as perfect as it's going to be. Whenever they call something, or order something, it is what is correct. They don't need to have me think about what I feel is right, they already know it. They need someone who can act for them. I don't hate the order, I hate not having a choice. If I choose to oppose them, I'm evil. Not because I opposed the order but because they always know whats best. It may sound silly, but I don't want to become a mindless fighter." Leon was just frusterated they were always right. He didn't want to be an assassin to kill people, he wanted to use his powers for how he thought they should be used. "I won't leave the order. I do want to help others, I just... need some space for a little bit. I'll meet you at the order before night fall. Okay?" He asked in a soft voice. He needed to think a little more. Peng's story changed his view on somethings.

((Gah Jin, don't stab my face, I NEED that face! >A<; ))

"Mmm," Nathan whimpered a little in discomfort, but tried to relax like Jin told him. "I'm trying, it's hard. Who ever came up with this, anyway?"

Luca watched from afar, feeling his heart flutter. His little Nathan getting a dance lesson from Jin, it was so adorable. He just hoped that it would turn out alright.

Peng fell silent and looked down. "I... Understand your need for space. But Leon, the government of Torusa made it abundantly clear to the Order that the humans must never learn about magic or other humanoid races. It's incredibly vital, or their government just might start a war with Curtesia. Please, whatever thinking you do, do not jeopardize innocent people. I... Also, I wanted to tell you one more thing."

Narco had told Peng one very vital piece of information. He told Peng, when he thought it would be most useful, 'tell him.'

"Grace Lovelett and Matthew Rhinestone. I never made the connection, but Narco told me you were their son. For all that its worth, your parents were remarkable people." Peng did know them. He didn't think they had a son. In fact, there was no record of them ever being together. It was weird to think those two created the boy that was standing before him that moment. He guessed that made Leon closer to him than he thought. "When you're done thinking, come find me." Peng turned to go back to the Order.

The air grew chilly and the feeling of terror washed over Hypatia, and she knew exactly who was coming. "Speak of the devil," she told Necro, "Here comes your headmaster."

Caleb walked somewhat hurriedly toward the infirmary, and Hypatia cowered a little, but took a few steps away.

Jaramogis looked at the door and smiled. "Caleb! It's so good to see you."

"Dr. Hughes, I need to speak to you."

Jaramogis looked at Clara, then at Clara's dad, and then to the people in the hallway. "Is someone hurt?"

"No."

"Is it an emergency?"

"Its of some urgency, but this isn't a particular time limit. All the same, Dr. Hughes, it concerns your niece."

Jaramogis was a little pressed for busy, but he looked around at the tasks at hand. "Kevin, I apologize, I'll just be a minute." Then he looked at Caleb. "A minute for you as well, but this young man has been waiting some time." He then looked over at Narco and gave him a smile which kinda seemed to ebb the terror and discomfort Caleb gave to the area. "Hello young man, how can I help you?"

"Oh, that's a new student," Caleb replied, remembering the man from outside.

"Oh, alright," Jaramogis smiled and walked up to Narco, checking his pulse, putting his hand on the boy's chest, then putting a piece of paper into Narco's hand. "Hold that tight and focus on it. Also, say 'aah.'"

"So did you catch up with your boyfriend?" Narco asked, looking at Madeline from the same spot he as before, sipping tea.

Jin smiled and kept swaying with him. He chuckled lightly. "You're not doing bad, I've had worse trust me." He said happily. He kept gently leading him taking great care. He nuzzled Nathan lightly with a soft coo enjoying this moment with him. It was nice and he was having fun it was also peaceful and relaxing.

Nathan looked down to attempt to hide his blush. "Well... That's good, at least." It was starting to get easier to follow. "Where did you learn how to dance, Jin? You make this seem easier than it should." Nathan almost misstepped and gasped a little as he fell forward into Jin. Ah, jeez, he hoped he didn't hurt Jin. OR risk toppling them both over.

The news hit Leon hard. "We're... remarkable?" Leon was shaking in place. Until now his parents were just missing. "They're....dead?" Leon should have known. But, some part of him kept the hope alive that they were out there somewhere. But... They're dead?" Leon just back up, eyes wide. He couldn't process that. He didn't know how to handle it. He felt an urge overcome him as he shifted into a wolf and sprinted away from Peng. A loud, mourning howl echoed across the city as he ran and ran. He didn't know where he was going, and he didn't want to go too far away. He just... didn't want to be near people right then. He finallly slowed down near the outskirts of town to the north. He sat under a tree and let out another howl before he curled up in a ball, whimpering.
