Aurora nodded. This made sense. "That is very interesting. Are you wanting to find out what is inside the lake?" It would be very fun if Evermore were, and if Aurora would be allowed to help. It would almost be like a mystery novel or a puzzle to solve, trying to figure out what was there that was attracting so many poweful beings.

Altan blinked in vague acknowledgement at Evermore's explaination. It, as Aurora had decided, did make some sense... but at the same time, it made him wonder. Why would it only have started up now? Why hadn't this... thing called silently before? His tail flicked in anticipation. It sounded like there were things to learn, and riddles to solve.

Kilala felt somewhat ignored by Evermore and decided to startled her by saying mentally, "Goddess of Love? Ah...That would explain... Anyways, a nice strong lady, probably that very Goddess helped out Akira and me last night, funny story, not...Well that solves that mystery!" the twin tailed smiled at the Fury and meowed, her twin tails swaying gracefully.

Akira, jumped up, excited and baffled; why hadn't they thought of that earlier!?

"Ever...That's genius!!! Duh, why didn't we think of that sooner!? Your a genius!!" she exclaimed, a little startled by the fact that more Gods were showing up at thew school.

She looked at Aurora excitedly "It be great if you two would want to help us out, we got a lot of searching and lake exploring to do!! Oh and by the way, i'm Akira and this here, is my familiar, Kilala!" she gestured to the feline, who meowed in greeting, smiling.

Ever was completely shocked that Altan and Aurora did NOT seemed shocked at what she had said. Wow. They would be good to have around right now. They seemed to stay calm in any situation.

When Akira got excited and even stood up in her excitement, Ever, too, stood up with a bright smile on her face and her eyes glittering.

"Thanks, Akira! Though I should have thought of it yesterday, but I wasn't at my best. I hadn't meditated yet! And Aphrodite hadn't come here, yet. This is why meditating is awesome!"

She laughed and even hugged Akira in excitement. She even jumped up and down a little bit as she hugged her.

Ever then turned to look at Kilala with another shocked look on her face. "Sorry I didn't introduce you all to each other. I was just too excited. But, someone helped you and Akira out last night? And you think it was Aphrodite?? Wait, what happened last night, Akira?! Are you alright?!"

She turned with a very concerned look toward her best friend.

Akira hugged back as she looked and said to Altan and Aurora, "Nice to meet you two as well! It's gonna be awesome working with the both of you, i can just feel it!"

Kilala nodded and spoke out loud to the Sphinx, knowing he could understand her language clearly, "I guess we'll be working together from now on, huh? Sounds like a plan!" the feline was a little disappointed that the Fury hadn't reacted in the least to her speaking mentally...Ah well.

Akira released her best friend and laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her head.

"Well...You see...Apparently, the full moon turns me into a...Wolf or maybe more like a wild Huski..." the girl continued to explain in as much detail as she could remember, Kilala filling in the missing gaps, and finally confirmed that she did indeed feel a very strong aura around the young lady who had helped her.

"Well, she didn't say her name was that...I know it started with an A but..." she shook her head, unable to remember, Kilala was no help with the name because she hadn't bothered remembering in the 1st place, having been more preoccupied by her unconscious master.

"And now, i'm practically fully "mortal", except my hair didn't change color like it usually does on the night of the new moon..." she explained, sighing heavily.

"Honestly, i'm freaked out."

Ever gasped as she heard more and more of Akira's story. This had all happened to her friend and Ever hadn't sensed it at all?! She MUST have been tired last night to not wake up at her friend's distress.

And no, she hadn't been surprised by Kilala speaking telepathically to her. Ever just assumed that all familiars could do it since Altan had spoken to her last night the same way. It was the only time she had come that close to a familiar before, so she just assumed that telepathic communication with them was typical.

Speaking of... when she heard what Altan said, Ever's eyes lit up and a smile brightened her face. She looked at Akira and put her hands on her shoulders to look her directly in the eye.

"Akira, it's ok! I'm a Fury, and my father is Night! If you don't believe me, you can look it up! My mothers and I have power over the different elements of night because of that. I can't control the moon, of course, but later, during the next full moon, I could try to control the magic in its beams and try to make it not turn you! So don't worry!"

She hugged her friend and at her relieved sigh, she herself grew even more relieved. She pulled back, smiled once more at her friend, and then turned back to Aurora, Altan and Kilala with her arm still around Akira's shoulders.

"Well, to answer your question, Altan, I do want to explore the lake, but the headmistress told Akira and I, after the incident at the lake, that we should find this room first before we research more about the lake."

Ever went on to describe what the headmistress had told both her and Akira yesterday. When she was done, she looked at Aurora and Altan to see what they thought. Ever figured that Akira had already told Kilala about all of this.

Ever gasped softly and looked at Aurora with wide but excited eyes. She even pointed at her in excitement. She wasn't pointing directly at her face, though. Just around her midsection.

"I made that exact same connection! Akira did, too! I LOVE Harry Potter!"

But when she registered Altan's voice in her mind, she collected herself and cleared her throat. Now was not the time to talk about Harry Potter.

"That's the exact problem Akira and I were facing. This whole space is too big for us to cover in a good amount of time. Headmistress Krause gave us a large book to read that might give us more information, but it will take us a long time to read it, too."

She then tilted her head when she got an idea and looked at Altan. "Actually... Altan, since you're a Sphinx, do you read really quickly? You're really smart, obviously, so does that mean you are a speed reader, too?"

Ever smiled brightly, but then her smile diminished slightly at the small problem they had of flipping the pages. Then, her watch beeped softly at her. That signaled that they had 5 minutes to get to class now.

Ever sighed and shrugged. "I guess we'll have to figure that part out later. We've got to get to class."

She stared at Altan as his paw was hovering cutely in the air. He was so adorable, and she loved cats!

Ever turned bashfully to Aurora. "Do you... that is, if Altan doesn't mind, would you mind if I picked him up and petted him?"

She scratched the back of her head as she laughed nervously. It was a rather odd thing to ask, but Altan was just being so adorable!

Ever smiled brightly as Altan rubbed against her leg. Seeing as neither he nor Aurora seemed to have a problem with it, she leaned down and picked up the larger, sleek cat.

She made sure to be careful, but she wrapped her arms around Altan and hugged him closely to her face and she nuzzled her face against the side of his. She wished that she had a cat of her own!

She ran one of her hands along Altan's back and kept holding him close to her. She even mumbled, "You're so cuuuute!"
