I have NEVER asked anyone out, much less to a dance. Hell, I get nervous asking my friends to my birthday parties. Correction, birthday party.
The girl I really want to go with, isn't going to prom because the guy she wants to go with isn't going to prom. And they're like both my friends, good friends. That's just awkwaaard. That and no one knows that I have a crush. I think my friends think I'm either asexual or gay at this point.
So I was thinking about asking a friend instead... but the thing is, I haven't seen her at all this year in school. The only time we did was at the school's formal Vienna Ball, where we waltzed together a few times...
Oh gaaawd. I'm just afraid of rejection. Even if I do something big, what if she still says no? Am I being mean by asking someone else? Am I being weird for not coaxing my friends to go to prom together? Gaghafj....
Hormones. ******** 'em. Yeah. Like the color of yellow she used in that vivachinote or whatever. xD Yep. I've never been to a dance before... this was my first. xD Only because it was Senior Prom, you know? I felt like I should at least go for once. hahaha. Well, I honestly don't have much experience in this situation, but rejection is always scary. However, I think it would be fun for you to at least invite some friends to prom. At the very least, you'll have fun with your best pals and not be sitting all alone. And as for asking the girl, at least you're friends with her, and maybe you don't have to ask her as a date. Just ask her as a friend. I'm sure she'd like to go to prom~ That's what a lot of my friends did. It doesn't /have/ to be a date, especially if you're not already going out. And you're not being mean by asking someone else. The girl wanted to go with someone else, yeah? I think that means she's kind of off limits... xD I dunno, I've never felt any kind of attraction towards anyone... so... yeah... probably because I'm a ******** weirdo, but YOU KNOW. LIFE. xD Yeah, this made no sense. I suck at advice, sorry. xD But don't let rejection ruin your whole prom experience. Just have fun with it. If someone doesn't wanna go, grab some friends and go have a good time. c:

At my prom, the men didn't really match their dates at all. They kind of just wore what they wanted. xD Like I said, first dance. I don't do formal stuff. Yeah... it's like... I enjoy drawing anime, and I like watching some anime, but some people take it /way/ too far, and that's where I draw the line. The kid brought about 50 ******** anime novels to class everyday and wouldn't shut up about how awesome Fruit's Basket was or whatever and just... he kind of went full blown weeaboo on me. I don't really like to hang out with weeaboos. u__u Surprisingly, I have a few furry friends, even if being a furry isn't really my thing, but some are quite nice, you just gotta look for them. Then just stay friends if you just want to be friends. Don't go out and ruin something you already love. Just cherish what you have, and I think you'll be alright. ^^ And I get the close thing... or at least I think I do. I tend to not get close to people mainly because I've been stabbed in the back about 43724892739842 times for some reason, and people seem to think of me as an easy target for torment and gossip. =__=; I don't even know half the people who do it, either. Hahaha. Yeah, unfortunately, they always seem to do it in the stupidest places. They make out in the middle of hallways... there's a problem there. xD

The only things I do talk about is more about my general sense of paranoia.. But that usually turns to be the butt of a joke I make.
I think I just make everything a joke in the end, like I can't take things involving me seriously.
And hur hur. I'm too much in the background for anyone to gossip about. XD
