It certainly was a fun piece to rip appart for all the subversive meanings and connotations that the writer used. It is a fairly good comentary about life in france in the 1950's as well as a religious piece and what ever else you can dig from it.
So how is Bastet, still tired?

I will check out the bio.
I am still tired but fighting the sleep, will not fall from chair, must focus eyes...
Can it really be worse than the long string of poetry we are doing? I do not mind poetry at all but I need a break from it every once in a while.

There is only one poem, Beowulf. OR the Raven... or... ok, there are a few poems. BUt poetry is not something I dive too deeply in, I find myself unwittingly using the verses without thinking.

I liked Beowulf and the Raven, hated the assignments we had to do on them though, some of those assignments ruin the fun.
Some of the verses can teach.

teach a song that your heart might never have sung otherwise.
Drink water if you wish to feel less fatigued. It works. (16oz glass whenever you feel tired.)

There are those that have trouble making up their own songs, until they have had help once or twice.

Coffee and water can keep you awake for insane amounts of time. Coffee for energy, and water for feeding the brain/body.
Unfortunately, I do not drink coffee.
Songs? I do not write songs... Nelphean does though.

I know it normally helps, but only 2 hours of sleep is not a lot for water to work with, so I believe I will drop now.

Yes sunal, you don't have to quote me, I was the post right above you.
Try to write in paragraph form, it helps keep the flow. Describ how your character is acting physically, or anything that is noticable.
3rd person, good.
past tense.
Nelphean watched the new boy run into the hall and smiled at him, "You be a fool to think you can fight everythign that comes your way." He draws his longsword, Caliburn, and slices the air. The wind parts where the blade flows, and the elf laughed as the space time continum fell apart around it.
Like that. But using your own words and character.

Sunal stares blankly at the crazed elf, who seemed to beyond the realm of posibility. The confusion was writen in his expression, and Sunal's draw dropped.
