Catawa looked at the male. "I was human. And I did die. The lich found me floating around the statues, visiting my friends, and thrust me in this body." She didn't seem overly impressed with the cat calling. "It is a functional body. That is all a soul needs." She only raised an eyebrow at the mention of Morgan.
Moonstone rolled his eyes as he followed the two inside. "Your tact is charming, brother."
Toharu watched Zahara as she seemed to think soemthing out. Then she climbed up the woman's arm and sat on her shoulder. That was her answer, because talking wasn't her thing,
The doe wasn't really sure what to do. She looked to the house, to the surrounding area. She wans't used to haveing to make decisions, she was normally led around by leash or blue rod. So, she sat down in the dirt, and she stayed there.
Aella was incredilous. They were going to sort through rubble to find those tinny, oval stones? Her jaw was slack as regarded Tarathiel, wondering if he was serious.
What were they all looking for? Ah right: an emerald, a ruby, a piece of onyx, quarts, gold, opal, labis luzi, diamond, azure, topaze, and an amythyst. Aella sighed, but didn't complain, and set to work like the others.

An appreciative nod to Raziel as the took the feather from his friend, using what it produced, he was indeed usefull. A finger tapped at goo before lightly rubbing it over the gash in his cheek, touching hurt but touching had to be done now didn't it. Would at least dull the pain till he got himself properly patched up.
A look to Piper who was sitting in the chair he had set her down in, looking none to happy at the moment and distant, but that was normal after a little bout of thta particular thing. But first Kieran wiped his hand over his eyes, killing the glow of gold in them. But a sigh and a look back to Malik.
"Andal is a strictly elven populated plane. Therefore, we're naturally not exposed to other races, and such it seems an extra...survival instinct has been bred into our behviors against them. When put into a life threatening or survival threatening situation we...can more or less tap into a basic need mode, except the basic need is cut down to strictly getting away with your life. Thus the more agressive and feral behavior." He sighed.

Well Toharu had made up her mind but the little doe appeared to be confused. Zahara shook her head and sighed once again, then reached down and gently lifted the little doe back into her arms the way she had in the castle and walked toward the stables. It didn't take long to get there and she gently settled the doe in one of the stalls making sure she had a bed of nice, warm hay, plenty of water and she could go out and graze if she wished...or maybe she ate regular food? She didn't know but Keely would take care of her. She gave instructions to Keely that if the doe began acting more human like then she was to be brought to the house. Onyx and Moonstone acted like humans but Zahara didn't think the same applied here. She'd leave the doe in Keely's capable hands, come visit her as soon as she'd gotten some reverie and see if the doe began to open up or change at all. Gently stroking the doe's ears, she said softly, "You're going to stay here and I'll come back and visit you later. Keely is going to take care of you." Zahara left a moment later heading for that bath she'd promised herself while she was in the drab, dusty bowels.

"Attempted rape by Dimitri's Right Hand. that was the deepfried humanoid you may have seen."
a glance over at Piper.
"I made some rather nasty intimidation threats that might have got that turned on me as well."
leaning back though it made blisters sizzle and crack a bit.
"How bad and how long does it last?"
"Tact? I have tact?"
A slight smirk at his twin. though back to Catawa.
"You're ability was very similar to our father. in fact, you lifestyle seemed very similar. and since we have your knowledge..why not share some stories?"

"Yes, that would do it, what with the stresses of earlier added on. I take it you were split up as well then?" He sighed, shaking his head and petting at Raziel a moment in idle fashion. Well that explained the dishelved appearnce and what not. "But yes, you would get turned on if you were deemed a threat. You really just have to get her to calm down and things will settle."
Another look to Piper, walking around to stand in front of her and put a hand under her chin to tilt her head up and make her look at him. For a moment he stared at her, then stepped aside and covered her eyes a moment with his hand, taking away that glow to the gold in them, then looking to Malik. "You can tell by eyes, puipls are dialated so much the iris is almost completly taken over. How bad depends on how long before you get it under control. And how long it lasts depends on how fast the situation that causes it is terminated. Then it's all about getting thier attention. Elves under two hundered can't control it too well. Sometimes they don't even remember it happening. And you know what with being elven how unusual that is." But Piper's eyes were back to normal,so all was well. And he clapped her on the back hard enough to jostle her.
Piper blinked a few times and then shook her head, looking at then both a moment before looking to nowhere in particular. She wasn't a happy elf at the moment. Though she did run a hand through her hair, slicking back already blood wet strands, then a tug at her collar....to which she gave a hiss of pain and cringed, pulling her hand away as if the collar itself burned her. Oh yeah, being shocked through her collar, had caused that bruning and blistering under her collar, so a tug to the metal was a bad thing.

"You'll need to get that taken off for medical reasons, Piper. Ointments can't get under it and those burns will blister, break, and get infected."
A glance back at Kieran.
"The things that took here moved very very fast. looked like someone twisted and warped your wife. not to mention I was insulted. not one critter looked like me. pisses me off. my genes weren't considered good enough. sure not good enough to have a creature feature made in my image, but far more than enough to destroy the creator. Stupid humans."

If looks could kill. Of course the defensive look was only a mask for the fear behind it. Not that it mattered if she could hid it becuase Malik and Kieran could probably both feel it. Yes, Piper was scared to be without her collar. The thought of not having it around her neck was just terrifying. She'd been wearing it for more than twenty years now...though probably unkown to her, she had probably developed a thing like Cymarron had, not having a collar around made for paranoia. "But..."
Oh Kieran knew that that was going to be a fight, but he tried to not mess with it. That was thier argument over it, though he would agree with Malik, because it was medical needs. "Belive me Malik, I would of liked it better if our genes had not been used, consider yourself lucky...seeing as those things were weak anyway."
A shake of his head. And then a look back to Catawa and Onyx. "Onyx, why not take Catawa to a room of her own and let her rest eh, you can hit on her later." He was still getting used to a Piper-esk Catawa. Back to Malik. "Though you're no step closer to your goal of killing the lich, but you did get the oracle back, and alive."

Zahara came back downstairs all freshly washed and cleaned and much happier, well with the exception of not being able to give Dimitri a kick like she'd wanted to. Toharu was left sleeping on her pillow, all curled up with a little washcloth for a blanket and headed for the stairs. She still shuddered when she thought of some of th things she had faced in that damn manor and she was worried about Piper. So she came down the stairs and walked into the main sitting area and plopped down once again on the arm of one of the chairs watching the scene unfold before her. She chose not to say anything just watch but didn't like the way Piper looked right now...

Onyx looked at Piper, then back at Kieran. then shrugged and lead Catawa to a room..before coming back down and settling by Piper.
"It's a frightening concept, isn't it. being without that collar. it's almost a part of you now."
A slight, gentle touch on her shoulder.
"But which do you fear more. being without malik..becuase if that gets infected..there's nothign they can do. the blood is too close to the brain. any infection will go right there and most likely kill you. Or..being without your collar for about ten minutes while the clerics tend to your neck injuries."
Other than that, he just sat down and pouted some. he still wasn't in a good mood with those other three elves.
Malik raised a brow at Onyx, but had to agree, though he didn't say anything about that part.
"You won't be without it. it'll never leave your person. but Onyx has a point. if those injuries get infected the result will be deadly and swift."
Speaking of which. his hand to take a look at his sword hand...that was barely recognizable as an elven apendage right now. and it look like a mother to twitch those fingers or his wrist. a sigh. well..no Malvolence for him for a bit. no sword at all for that matter. damn it.
"Another time for him. and the Oracle will be as protected as we can make her. Though if the lich still lives..his forces are seriously hindered. the undead my summoning brought forth should have killed any labcoat wearing jackals..and his Right Hand is a lump of hamburger meat that's been deepfried. probably eaten by other things by now."

She looked to Onyx's hand on her shoulder, although with some disomfort. But it seemed she was more stubborn against his words even. Right as they may be. And as per usual when she was at unease, she got defensive and snippy. "Like that matters to you? You hate him, wouldn't it give you a nice feeling of revenge to have Malik loose me?" Okay, very defensive. Then her look went to Malik, not she was not a happy elf at all. "It still has to be unlocked by your standards. I can fit my fingers under it, there's no need to even unlatch it." Yeah, her fingers, and she was no healer skilled as needed. It was going to be one of those, hold her down and take it from her fights, wasn't it? Quick, switch attention from her. "Besides...I'm not the worst off, you should tend to yourselves first."
For a moment, Kieran looked to Zahara. Well looked like she was the first one to get clean. But his attention turned back to the little matter at hand of his stubborn daughter, and he gave Malik that look of 'we're in for another fight' look. She was defensive as a wild cat defending her cubs on the issue. Even elven endurance was fading under another poiental fight with Piper and other mental ponderings. "Hopefully you're right Malik...if anything you'll wear him and his resources out soon enough."

Onyx smirked lightly.
"Hate him, yes. Hate you? no. want to see you aroudn through my life to make me look good? yes. besides, I REALLY hate that damned dirty drow captian."
A few muttered insults under his breath that got the 'I can't beleive you talk like that' eyebrow from his twin.
"And if you cna fit your fingers under it, great. know now to heal electrial induced nasty blistering burns?"
Okay, he was being a bit of a smartass there.
A roll of his eyes nad nod to Kieran. yep. it was gunna be one of those fights.
"I know. I'm worse off than you, and I need to be tended to as well. and I will be. but first I need to make sure the people in my care, and that does include you, are well cared for. it's part of being the host. my needs come last. look, I'll hold you down and get it loosened if I have to. I'd prefer not to have to resort to that."

Zahara quickly clued into what was going on. She wasn't entirely positive what had happened to Piper down in the castle but it had something to do with her collar apparently. Blood? Well that wasn't good. Outrage welled up once again and she actually fisted her hands. How dare someone mess with something so important to her! Her own fingers drifted up to her collar and pulled on it lightly before dropping them back down to her lap. This was a rather intriguing situation, now wasn't it? They were trying to take Piper's collar. It didn't take her long to deduce that something had injured Piper beneath it and she knew how defensive the elf could be about that thing. Just the one time she'd mentioned getting it removed, Piper had just about jumped down her throat about it. "Doesn't look like you have much of a choice Piper..." Oh she felt sorry for her friend. Why did things like this have to happen anyway? Wait a minute, electrical burns and blisters?! What the hell happened to her down there? After hearing that Zahara had to speak up, "It wouldn't matter anyway, electrical burns, especially on such thin skin as Piper has, aren't good to heal with magic. It's better to soothe it with natural means and let it heal naturally, which means that collar has to come off and stay off for a few days." She gave a look to Piper, "Sorry Piper, that's the way it's gotta be."

It was the majority rule thing going on. They all said yes and she said no. Well, the majority nine out of ten times won on any circumstance. Though a look to Zahara. "Hm, she has a point you know." What with the way the underdark had affected Piper over the years and what not. Oh he knew someone who wasn't a happy girl...in fact he could feel that tension rising in her.
Another glare given to Onyx, before her attention was drawn to Malik. "You're a host to Onyx and the others, you're family to me. I'm excluded from that good host rule thing." Stalling much? Even Zahara was against her on the subject. And it was one of those times she cursed being a surface elf, her skin fairer than any drow's or probably anyone elses down here, save for Kieran. But even he was probably better off than her, seeing as he got more sunshine and what not than her. But she couldn't get past the thought of not having it. Or anything for that matter. From an outsider's point of view, it would be called her being broken into a collar. She had that about to jump us and run look.

Zahara saw that look, and knew exactly what it meant. "I don't think so Piper D'Vinn. You're not going anywhere." As she spoke, she calmly though quickly reached over and grabbed her friend's arm, getting a hold on her before moving in front of her and holding her shoulders back against the chair. Even still she was straining to keep a firm hold on her being that she and Piper were about evenly matched. "It won't be as bad as you're thinking Piper...I'll be there to help you and the moment it looks better you can have your collar back. I promise." Zahara hated to do this to the already upset surface elf but she didn't have much of a choice. That collar had to come off, it was imperative to Piper's safety and continued health.

Piper was not a happy elf at all. To her this was all proposterous, rediculous, and it was just something better left along. Taking it off was not an idea she liked, unlocking it was not an idea she liked. Yes she was probably being overly sensitive and sentimental about it, but hey...twenty years. Piper deep down, knew it was one of theose necessary evils. Though she didn't struggle much against Zahara, but only because she had an edge over her strength wise. Though her look went to Kieran. "Please, don't let this happen..."
He stared at her a moment, crossed his arms lightly and softly shook his head at her. Despite how he wanted to give into her plea to him to let the collar stay. The woman really was attached to that thing wasn't she? Though it was understanable...it was her constant when she had nothing else to fall back on.
Fingers curled slightly in her lap. And a look to Onyx, though she already knew his answer, one to Zahara who already had given her answer there too. Then on across to Malik. "Malik...A'mael...please..." Even if she knew his answer. So what was the real problem? Perhaps and unconcious thought that the collar was what kept Malik so close, perhaps without it somethign would go wrong. And the feeling of safety because it was Malik's wouldn't be there. How many times had she gripped at that thing when she was uneasy and Malik wasn't nearby?
