oh...right...suppose that's important. a-hem Quote: Recently, some of the tribes that wander the Mythril Mountain range have been hearing odd, wavering cries issuing fourth from a cave along the lower reaches of the mountain, a place they used to consider unholy and are now screaming about demons and the like. The cave is actually the entrance to an old Observation Complex, long forgotten after the internal defence systems went haywire and started killing the researchers within', leaving their expirements and other such things to do as they will. The Tribes are still requesting help to deal with whatever is within. there we go.

Maybe I'm just missing the point, or should have watched the older version, but I'm not sure how something less violence oriented is really like "The Hills Have Eyes" at all.
I guess there was a nice sort of creepy isolated and hunted vibe, but it didn't stick out to me compared to the other things considering my recent delving into the realm of survival horror games.

I like the less killing thought... due to the fact that I get bored by that fairly easily .... however if commercials are correct, the movie you mentioned is the sort that I stay away from at all costs sweatdrop so if it is gona be really scary....*looks around for a certain coyote* xp

"The hills have eyes" So far as what you find. I don't know of anything to compare it to otherwise. More emotion, less killing, mutations and monsters abound. That kind of thing. I'm more into suspense horror over all out slaughter horror.

It's too early in my morning to be able to think of any such titles that would be better suited than THHE. Any of George Romero's works might be better suited; despite being zombie movies, they're about the Survivors and their ability to cope (or lack thereof) more than anything else 3nodding
And less mutie... nonconsentual stuffs to the female characters talk2hand

Oh yes. Since my initial panic at what you were comparing it to.
Both movies have scenes about that. Not suggested either, but full-blown innocence-removing scenes, though no private parts are actually shown.
