Generation 1 and Generation 2
Each "generation" is like a season here in ROTS, each Generation is then broken down into seasons, typically 4
North American servers are only on Generation 3 Season 4 (G3S4)
They made an announcement 3 days ago on November 3 that G1 will be free to everyone and eventually all the Generations mainstream quests will be free..
The quest are mainly about the background story of the game and etc.
edit:
Generation Mainstream Quests are basically long assed SLs broken up into doing tasks that could take 2 weeks to a month if done effectively and you have all the materials you need

I am wondering if my second character is still in hidden leaf on the profile sheet. I noticed that a few characters in Hidden Cloud have been removed and I am wondering if someone keep a copy of them since one was a friend of mine. I think she has a copy of the profile if it came down to it.

My second character had gotten deleted then... That does not really make me all that happy. However, it is a good thing that I have a copy of the profile saved.
I should actually be online and have a chance to RP this weekend. Tigerr if you get a chance. Tell Drago I sent him a PM.

klamapachin could you update my training? (make the total cp 50k and remove the sword seperator technique, melting gas, and dance of hidden blades, which will my total 50k....or i wiil repost it)

Not as of yet. He's kind of skirting the subject right now. I've got enough people out for my life as is, I don't need the hunter ninja to suddenly start gunning for me too. stare
