Malik took a step back, and punted the head right at the 'bode's face. now if he knew anything about bode, she'd be frightened by such a thing. mostly due to just plain old childish fear. lets not forget to look for bruising, bleeding. Dimitri was not the kind to not be brutal to a person he wasn't fond of. or any other prisoner for that matter.
"Look for simple things. like bruising. slight distortions. minor changes in height, breastsize, eye color, breathing, movement. tone of voice if they speak. choice of words, if they speak. attitudes."
Onyx raked his claws on the door, not enough to really do damage, but enough to let Whirlwind know it wasn't a crewmember on the other side of it. after all, they didn't normally have claws to make that scratching sound, did they.
Though his ear did turn toward the other two elves at thier comments. he coudl hear, after all, exceptionally well, as well as smell. and screw that female elf. he wasn't trying to make enemies. but he wasn't going to change who he was to make any friends, either.

Jarlaxle didn't say anything again, rather unamussed by such imperfection. Most wizards from Dominia can polymorph objects into other objects, include exact duplicates of people. The ones who couldn't accomplish this feat were either novices in training, or dead. Growing a person took more effort, and was gernally called cloning. The problem with cloning is you couldn't clone a soul, which to the non-wizarding mind of Jarlaxle, was stupid. The cloning process was very similar to birth. There was no logical reason for the body not to have a soul. Illogically, Jarlaxle could figure out numerous reason for their to be no soul, especially if you didn't want there to be a soul.
Tarathiel looked at the door. "A visitor."

Zahara had been ready to help Piper out but it looked like she had the thing taken care of. That worked for her. Her eyes continued to search the corridor waiting for something else to pop out on them. And sure enough something was there. She studied the profile for a moment, mindful of the fact it was probably an illusion and then it clicked. Her cooking partner, or her somewhat of a cooking partner. That child hadn't made anything edible but it had been so cute allowing her to do whatever she wanted to. Bode. But why was she here? Violet eyes scanned once again and she glanced at Malik and shrugged. She didn't know. Were they supposed to attack her or let her be? If she was real, attacking her would be bad. She studied her for minute differences, wondering if this was a doppleganger out to trick them or another sign that lich was a b*****d who needed to be stopped. Imagine, preying on children of all things.

She stood and watched them for some time, the decapitaded head hit her, bounced off, and was ignored. She tilted her head in a curious fashion. "Let's play."
She turned to face them. Her front half was presented to them as if skinned alive. From her throat to her cotch, her muscles and organs on display, pumping and moving. Black puss ozzed inbetween her insides. A set forward made her innards sway dangerously, threatening to spill out.
Aella blinked, and looked at the door. "Onyx?"
"Should I let him in, Captain?"

Looking at Aella with a very odd expression, Tarathiel shrugged. "Did you invite him here?"

((Flim flam under fricken forum migration. Are we planning on trying to finish this thing before Holly leaves?))
Okay...she was officially horrifed, grossed out, and disturbed. It was one of those times that she hated being an elf, because her mind was catalouging this right now and would no doubr play it back to her during a reverie sooner or later in her very extended life. Horror among horros. "Okay...confirmed, that's not Bode at all." Far from being Bode. Especially when she knew what the little girl should of done and what she hadn't done. Well...she had no intention of standing here. Reaching back for an arrow she nocked it on her bow and took a slightly off angle aim from a dead on shot. Letting go, the arrow just barely skimmed Malik's blade, catching fire as it zipped past, and the flaming arrow embedding itself right into the creatures right eye, penetrating all the way through and setting flesh and hair ablaze. Would of gotten dead center, but she would settle for the offshot for the fire. Though she couldn't help the little pang she felt deep down inside over taking arms against something that even looked so close to a friend. Oh yeah, this was going to be difficult. But she had a back thought to this all...if it really had been Bode, then it was best to put the thing out of any misery if the soul was indeed present. Comforting thoughts to herself. "I think I feel sick."
((Yes I am killing things just for the sake of progression))
Kieran wasn't so accustomed to Bode, didn't recall her at all really. Well this would be an interesting trip, that was for sure. "You're not the only one Pip." After all, surface elves weren't ones to be overly used to rather gruesome sights now were they? Then again any image such as the ones they were being put forth with would be disturbing to really anyone. ANd even drow were disgusted by some things as well. Another look at his blade as his brain began to wrap around things that he was pondering.

((We can only move as fast as Jason posts. He's part of this and I think everyone already voted that we can't move very far without him.
Note: We'll just have to assume that the characters ran into other problems along the way. We all know it wouldn't be that easy to get the Oracle))
The 'thunk' of the arrow in flesh reverbrated off the walls, throwing the childs head up and back. She caught fire, her organs slowed their gruesome pumping, and there was a terrible 'crack' as the back of her scull hit the floor. Blood soon pooled around the body.
Further ahead they would encounter various kinds of barriers, some taking a emasure of thoat to counter, some designed simply to slow them down. Throw out it all ther were random battles of undead and souless, rarelly attacking singularily, usually assulting them in droves.
Random cave in's were a common occurence, as the dragon continued to destroy the castle from above. Numerouse times the had to back track, often they had to run to escape falling debris.

Malik was calm as ever down here. blood spatter wasn't paid mind to. though he was rapidly losing patience with Tanundra.
"Remind me when we get her back and he's calmed down, to break of his horns and feed them to him."
the body double of bode didn't make him sick, he was used to that sort of thing.blood splattered on armor, blood soaked into Malvolence, who was enjoying the feeding frenzy.
"soulless, undead. doesn't a demigod usually have you know..more..durable pets? Nagas maybe...greater serpents?"
Picking up a hand with most of the forearm attached that was trying to crawl up his leg and throwing it some distance behind them after letting Malvolence set it on fire.
Onyx snorted lightly.
"You know anyone else with claws besides me and my twin?"

Jarlaxle did practically nothing in each encounter, mostly watching for bigger badder things to come their way. He guessed that this group could handle these things, but just in case, his eye was watching everything.
Tarathiel shoke his head, "The only one who claws at doors instead of knocking would be you. Talon and Sstrl knock."

She rolled her eyes. "Do I let him in or not, Captain." It seemed that issue had been ignored for the past couple of minutes.
A rather familiar lab coat stood before them now. "Oh we have them, malik Dear. We just don't use them." The side of his lip curled. "It's so much more pleasing after all, to take the human form and manipulate it." He ushed his glasses back onto his face. "Much more exciting."
"You pathetic Organics can't understand such things." A step to the side, and he was gone as quickly as he had come.
In his wake, two very recogniable characters. Except isntead of looking like children, they appeared full grown. Large bat like wings and long prehensile tails swayed back and forth. Fangs pocked out of their lips, horns jutted from their foreheads. The two phazed out.
The air was quickly filled with smoke from the constant warping, they were systematically attacking, spreading the group apart, stricking at legs, arms, whatever they needed to sepereate them.
The brunette knocked Zahara onto her stomach. Fangs reaching for her neck. They blond went after Kieran, laching onto him and disappearing, Kieran being taken along for the ride.

"I don't like the idea of allow people who chose to be wild animals into the cabbin. He will not go away, so let us go to him instead." Tarathiel said, his domeaner changing into a a rather calm or coldly caculating persona.
Jarlaxle watched the creatures appear and begin their attacks. His eyes floated to the one attacking the drow woman, with little more than a blink, he dodged a stray attack, and threw two daggers into the the wing joints of the materializing beast preying upon the priestess. He walked up the side of the hall way, and continued to throw the same two daggers at the beast, always aiming for joints and vital orgins. It had human shape, and probably needed some form of blood to live, but just in case, it was much more difficult to move when a steal blade was jabbed into you knee, shoulder or wing socket. Jarlaxle made sure to follow the priestess's movements as to not lose sight of her, but that did not work when the creature ran away.

She narrowed her eyes lightly at Malik. "And you complained about them before..." See this was the difference between mostly harmless imps and then...well these things. Though she was thanking elvish bonds for the moment...at least as the air filled with smoke she was able to more or less know where Kieran and Malik are...worrisome how they were faded some. Of course her attention was put away from the present when Kieran's signature disappeared. Uh oh.
Okay, Kieran learned a lesson. He had brought up his blade and braced it against his forearm in defensive preparation for getting slammed into. What he didn't count on was the thing grabbing him and phasing. Which was a bad thing in all aspects. Oh and he knew he wasn't near the others at the moment, because he couldn't feel Piper nearby. Crap. Other problem, who knew where the hell he was going to end up...or worse, with what.

"You son of a--oh joy. THOSE two."
Malik grumbled lightly, and watched them teleport around, before looking at Malvolence.
"So. you want to play this time? or should we just do this on our own."
The blade's flame glowed brighter, then withered down.
"I thought as much. Piper's gunna hate me in the morning."
So he stood there, staring at the blade, until the flames went from firey reds, to strange blues. his eyes became completely red, and he stretched and rolled his shoulders lightly.
"This feels so very nice.."
Before his attention turned to the brunette.
"You don't feel pain. you don't know fear. but you can be frozen."
His hands moved in arcane manner, and it got, very, very cold around the brunette. enough to solidify blood. which in conjucture with Jaraxle's attacks..the cold energy coudl travel throught eh bloodstream and effectevily imobilize an attacker. well..save that teleporting. but what good was that if you couldn't move your body.
T'haen was a centuries old vampire. and vampires like him liked sorcery. Of course his power was limited in Malik's body. and he couldn't feed to restore lost energy without the fangs or ability to digest blood. the other was teleporting around with Kieran...a look at Piper.
"when it pops..shoot the hostage. dead weight isn't good for trying to be fast."
and he did mean 'dead' weight. He was trying to get his bearings, hence not moving. being in a physical form after a very long time without one trapped in a blade was disorienting.
Onyx just snapped his jaws shut in a huff.
"We are what we are. I don't see anyone saying they don't want to allow you to lead since your a bloodthirsty drow."

"Straight answer are hard come by you, aren't they?" With that she lead the way out, closing the door to the cabin when they were both outside.
Keiran's blad had slide through the grown imp's midesction, spilling hot blood and fluids on the elf. The imp struggled there, trying to tear at Kieran and get off the blad at the same time, it's life draining out through his stomach.
Kieran had been brought to a cell of sorts. Human bones were scattered on the floor, crunching unerfoot. The stink of rotting flesh was pugnant and powerful. A quick look out of the cell would show a hall way, each side holding about tweleve cells. In each cell, including the one he was in, his daughter in various stages of mutation, some kind of cat genetic was involved. A low growl issued from the corner. Feral eyes Watched Kiearn and the dying him, claws and teeth ready and dripping.
