Still watching the young Maki run, he was running out of ideas to help her remember. Slipping off his coat and tossing it aside Zetsuei stepped forward and vanished
"Remember Greed, Maki"
He said gently as he appeared infront of young Maki and embraced her slowly wrapping his arms around her. Looking up his dark purple hair flowed behind him exposing his face
"I wont hurt you, I would die to save your life Maki. Your one of my true friends. Listen to what your heart tells you and not what your eyes do. A persons outer appearance doesnt tell you who they are"

---- Maki's distorted dream echoing back ----
Maki tried to wake herself from her nightmare, as she ran the strange figure appeared before her and grabbed her.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" she screamed. "LET ME GO!!!! SHINJA!!!!! SHINJA HELP!!!!!!"
"Remember ... Greed .... I won't hurt you ... die to save ....life .... friend ... ," the strange figured called out. As his face and voice became a little clearer she was still frightened by the distortion and even more when a purple hair began flowing out. She kept pushing away from the figure struggling to wake up. "Listen to what your heart tells .... not what your eyes do ..."
As pushed away she began crying uncontrollably as she fell to the ground.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" she screamed then a new name echoed in her heart, 'Greed' a name that was as close as Shinja's name. A name that could not be erased. But it was all new to her but it was too much. Even in her dream state all this new information caused her to black out, in the dream she begins to fade and then disappears all together.

Zetsuei's eyes snapped open as he pointed to a place on the map. The name of the place appeared on the map, the name of the town was Endairon. Quickly he began to press a series of buttons which which made the engines roar with life as they fired up, pressing more buttons the propellers realigned themselves as the ship began to move.
"Maki, I will find you and rescue from him before he can hurt you. Hopefully the way I look now will help her memory since, when she first met my father he looked like this due to the curse he placed on himself to save our people form becoming fiends"

"So you now know exactly where Maki is?" Fira asked with high hopes, "Lets hurry up and get to her, before Andreas gets even further."

"Yeah I do, she is in Edairon. Once we get to the city, I will be able to find find her with ease. I think I am getting to her, but lets just hope Andreas hasnt harmed her yet but knowing him he has something else planned for her."
The engines blazed as Zetsuei put more power into the engines to make the airship go faster. It shouldnt take them much time to get to Edairon in the air ship.

" I think Im finally getting to get, see when she and my father first met he looked the same way I do. See he had a curse placed upon him, and now that I have had the same curse placed on me I look like he did when they met and I said my fathers name when I was trying to find her and she began to act like her memories were trying to surface, lets just hope she does decide to come with us"

kyana had fought the ratmen until they fled the castle trying her best not to kill any merely defeat them but it was inevitable and she had slewn many of the beast-man creatures. And now the post battle necessities were occuring the reorganising of military units tightening of the watch all done in preparation and to ensure the security of the citizens. This is what the queen had sent her down here to do ,she had been releived to here several moments ago that the queen had been ok without herself avalus and deadoran.
Kyana now treated the wounded the infirmery near overflowing. Kyana helped in any way she could cauterising wounds with her flame. ensuring wounds were clean with her water magic and powerinf some of the magi nachinery ith her lightning.

Shinja stared at the clouds above him as he slowly slipped out of consciousness, his body completely still within the crater.
"Maki..."

"...i'm here now."
Shinja's dream-form slowly walked towards Maki. This mental form, however, was slightly different than his normal, physical body; small, wisps of light seemed to drip from his right arm. As the wisps floated away into the air, it became obvious what they were -- pyreflies.
The now white-haired Shinja stared down at her as he reached into his cloak. "I don't have much time...but...maybe this will help you remember..." He removed his hand from his cloak, revealing a small, silver flask. For the first time in an amount of time unknown to even himself, Shinja smiled. "....who your real friends are."

Suddenly, Shinja woke up, his eyes releasing a thick, dark mist as his body began to rise.

---Maki's dream echo---------- Maki didn't understand why so many people were appearing in her dream as she slept. She could see she was in complete darkness, another distorted figure appeared and as he reached his hand out she was startled that it was starting to disappear. There was kindness and sorrow about the figure as she slowly approached him. "who your real friends are ..." he said as he held out a silver flask. ' The flask .... this is .... Shinja's flask.' she mumbled and cried as she looked at it. "I know this flask. Why do you have Shinja's flask?" As she asked her question she saw the man disappear and cried. "That flask brings sadness ... it breaks my heart ... makes me anger and sorrow that he ... left me ...." she said to the figure and then replied. "No ... not sad anymore ... Shinja is here with me now ... hopefully he won't leave me anymore .... hopefully he won't break my heart anymore. I don't understand .... why would you have the flask?" Maki shut her eyes trying to wake up, she had to ask Shinja she was sleeping next to in the chair what he did with the flask.

Shinja's body continued to levitate, the grip on his sword loosening as it too began to float next to his body. The mist began to seep from his closed mouth before it suddenly caused his mouth to open completely, mist pouring from it wildly. So this...this is the price I pay... Shinja suddenly began to burst into laughter as pain erupted in his entire body.
...it's all worth it...

Katrea still held the child in his arm and stood next to the queen in the throne room.
"Your majesty, are you sure war is the right path to take right now?"
Katrea then looked at the poster she laid on her lap and he realised it was not her that wanted war but it was her that must respond to it.
"I am sorry my queen, I’ve seen from that poster you had no choice. War is at are door step."
They all looked saddened to admit it but there was nothing left to do but build an army.

The queen looked up and took a deep breath.
"Have someone work on posters for recruiting and have knights visit all towns. Find as many willing hands as you can."
"But what if are numbers are to few. Balduvia will build weapons and they will have numbers on there side too."
The queen tightened her fists and bit her lip, there was only one thing they could do if they could not get the numbers willingly.
"If we do not get the numbers we need then, we will have to call a state of emergency and call every able body to arms."
Even though this was a dark tradition it was still something the queen had in her power to do. The room went silent and the queen waited for more of the head knights to make there way back.

Avalus stood in the doorway to the left of the entrance to the great throne room that katrea had entered, he had even walked straight past avalus. Avalus thought to himself he need more training in environment perception.
"My queen This war is necessary from this force of hand but war is a foul thing and conscripture is not something to be used lightly the people will not stand for it unless the circumstances are of great need we must take other more traditional routes to the goal of enabling victory we must consult with the other nations. We should contact Glasica for i fear the desert will not help us and endairon has taken on neutrality to change their ways for anything less than an extreme reason."
Avalus wondered again to himself where everyone else was deadoraan and kyana should be back by now and the other 3 knights that were stationed in the other continents would need to be recalled all but metatrus of course that scum had got what he deserved it was his fault all this mess was occuring.

The queen looked down but nodded about what Avalus said.
“as always you are decisive under pressure. Yes I will travel with you and Joan to Glasica for aid. But I believe we should not count Endairon out of this war. For if we where to get there aid we would have a strong strategic advantage having two entry points into the continent. So i will travel and find aid.”
The knights all stood tall and listened with out hesitation to the queens words as she continued.
“I will have Katrea Kyana and Gearo help on mist recruiting people and finaly I will have deodoraan look over the castle in my stead. Now we will wait here for the others to inform them then we shall all head out."
