That's great! A lot of people can't wait to know if it will be a boy or a girl so I'm impressed.

Robayn I do exist! I do exist! I had a kitchen accident that is making typing very difficult. What effect would the power have on whomever was being drained? D: Oh noes. You didn't burn your hands, did you?
Oh, yes! I completely forgot to think about that. xD; Thank you~ Added part in red.
Quote: Warrior of Raven Special Force mode/power: When Irella has entered this mode, she is unable to use the Force in the conventional way. Instead, Irella will have to siphon away Force energy from other people, of which that from Jedi and Sith is most potent. She can take Force energy by manner of touch. Touching a person only allows her to take generally small amounts of energy, their excessive energy, to an extend that the person hardly, if it all, will notice any change. She is capable of draining people for larger amounts of energy, but this will require them to be incapacitated in anyway or willing as she forces a temporary bond/connection between herself and her 'victim'. Draining large amounts of energy this way can leave the person heavily fatigued and potentially kill them if Irella doesn't stop and/or they lack the mental strength/conviction to forcefully break the connection. When enough energy is absorbed, it will vastly increase Irella's strength, as well as other psychical abilities, like agility and reaction time, turning her into a petit juggernaut. The use of regular force abilities (Force Push/Lightning/Mind trick/etc.) is possible, but only once and will in turn completely drain her of all stored Force Energy, leaving her powerless until she can drain another person's Force energy again. [ Irella is currently stuck in this mode and unaware of how to switch back to normal. Switching between modes also requires concentration and time, making it impossible to switch during combat. ]

So, would the drain be something that a person has the ability to detect and, if so, make a resistance check against the power? Forgive the DD reference but it is the easiest way to ask the question.

@Exile So, Irella has, kind of, a poor man's version of Rogue's power(s)?

If I remember right, rogue was about mimicking powers and draining them was an unfortunate side effect from a time before she learned to control it. It doesn't look like irella would specifically be mimicking a power that the person she drained had or, if she did, it would have to be specifically one of the developed powers to distinguish between the powers that all characters more or less have access to... But she has said that using powers at all would be difficult for irella in that form.
Doesn't really seem like a rogue-thing at all to me :/

I was mostly referring to the draining of the energy/power when I compared it to Rogue, although I can see how that's not clear in my previous post.

Hi-hi all! Sorry to be gone for so long. Had a lot happen in my life in a real short time, but I’m looking at being able to be back on as things slow down. Miss hanging out with you all. heart

Hmm~ Yea, I guess so, the draining effect itself could be compared to that of Rogue, though it wouldn't go as quick as happened in the movie. The drain is detectable and as such can be resisted, in that it's very much like a 'hands-on' Force drain. Be sure to throw your lucky dice~ x3
Also saw the Hunger Games yesterday. It was pretty cool. Then my friend borrowed me the first book.<3 >w< Haven't put it down all day.
O hai, K~! *wave*

In January my grandma had a major stroke and with a DNR she passed away a week latter. I had been taking care of her since 2007 so that was a major blow to me, as I was looking forwards to her meeting her great-granddaughter that’s growing in my belly. I am due July 4.
I’m sure that you have all seen ultra-sound imaging, so when I was 21 weeks my huby and I went to try out this new 3-D/4-D imaging so here’s a pic of my baby Aurora.
