Gin moved with the group. She kept her eyes open and her guns ready. She let the rest of them do what they needed to do. Listening to the chatter between the captin and Aleron. She sighed faintly.
"Nice of you to join us" She said to Misha, though Gin herself was still white as a ghost. Still trembling ever so slightly. She'd managed to regain most of her composure. She had been living this for four weeks afterall,. If she coudln't reign in her emotions she'd been dead long before now.
"Since we're making for a spot to hole up I have one safe spot not to much further down from the cryo. that's where I was sleeping. It's infection free for the time being, and provides a good vantage point for guarding the cryo and the hall" she said over the com. This had been her little area of defence afterall.
"the supply room is compermised, they are moving in the vents it's only a matter of time before they go inside there" she added " But short trips in to get items is usually alright. Especially if you freeze and don't breath almost till the sounds stop" she said to them. She had done that more then once. Held herself like a statue while she got food from the compermised supply room. She had no way of blocking the vents from the rest of the ship to keep them out. So it simply was a risk she'd had to take.

"Noted, Mrs. Namida. We'll take the Cryo Room, and then you're suggested spot. Where is the kitchen from there? And the nearest armory?" Ammo and food would be the two highest priorities for supplies they needed to secure.

Aleron listened, taking in the information, forming a rough sketching of plans, formations, what areas likely looked like, etc. "Hm...vantage...Captain, does anyone have any long-range weapons? From what I've seen it appears to be blade, shell, pistol and....rivet." he said, looking over everyone. Didn't someone have a sniper? Or a rifle at all?

Hearing Aleron ask about long-range weapons made her ears twitch a bit. "Hey, Aleron, I've got a bow. Don't know how much good it might do, but I have superb aim. And enough force behind each shot to take down just about any creature with one well-aimed shot." The half-elf doubted her suggestion would be much use, but at least she let it be known what she could do to possibly help.

Aurora twitches. So now HE wanted to dawdle. "It will do, Doctor. Lieutenant, we have what we have. Weren't you the one in a hurry?" she asks irritably. "Everyone, lets move." She watches the non-militant group approach and heads off.
(OMG! that guy makes me want to scream ^^; )

((XDD it's kinda what I'm going for.))
Aleron blinked. "I am in a hurry. It was a curious question, captain. I just thought it be better to have a sentry at the main entrance to our temporary encampment to pick off or at least severely damage any on-coming targets." he explained simply, seeming to be in a much lighter mood again. Beside him, Mace trodes, looking over the humans with a gaze that almost seemed to be focus and understanding.
"A bow? How...what's the word...Retro." he commented, smiling a bit to Miya. I haven't seen one of those in ages."

Misha smirked following along behind them, "This rivet gun has about a six hundred feet killing ranging and a thousand foot maiming range when maxed on power I'd jsut need my eye to target for me. Otherwise I can set the depth or range of my shot by adjusting it power output as well as the heat of the rivets, from molten to red hot. All depends on what you wanna do with it..." Misha looked over her shoulder slightly then back out behind them still moving, it was obvious she knew her weapon well and that she had some experience with mining equipment which raised a lot of questions that would ahve to wait until much later when they managed to get off this heep... if they managed to get off this heep...

"not disagreeing there, Lieutenant. Armories are one of my top two areas to secure. I'm sure we can find whatever we need."

If Aleron were a different sort of man, he would have laughed at the irony. She just agreed with him. With a nod, glad that he had finally said someone people weren't against, he kept forward with the group, taking point with the captain as planned earlier. "Rivet Gun....Why does it seem too good to be true? Range, power, rapid, plenty of ammo...and with you, weight and fatigue isn't even an issue. It's like a mobile AP 50.cal turret or something. Next you'll tell me rockets can come from a cannon installed in your arm." he said, smiling a little to himself. He was the sort to, at the very least, find himself a bit funny.

Aleron's comment about her bow made Miya laugh quietly, knowing all too well how true it was. "Yeah, definitely retro. But, hey, elves stick to tradition. My dad's family only started using more modern materials like fiberglass and carbon-fiber a generation or two ago. But my dad gave it to me and taught me to use it, so..." She shrugged, almost as though saying 'if I have it, why not use it?'
Looking over at Aleron, she smirked a bit. "At least this retro weapon has an advantage over your modern guns. The shafts of the arrows are made of a very durable material, the name of it escapes me, but it makes the shafts almost impossible to break. Therefore, as long as whatever I shoot at gets killed, I can retrieve and reuse my arrows...something that you can't do with bullets or energy shots." Something told her that, based on his tactical way of thinking, he'd find the fact she could reuse ammo to be quite the advantage.

Misha smirked, "Only problem with the higher power is the heat so it severely cuts the rate of fire down from about 200 rpm to more like 20 rpms and this puppy only carries two thousand rivets and the large problem... I think they had jsut ran out some time before and were waiting for resupply with them or they were all lost in the mine because these two thousand was the last of it I found... But if you find me a working charge layer for mining and I can MAYBE rig something up for the bottom of your wrist shotgun thingy." She was serious on that but it may have come off as a joke. She was good with a welding torch but the firing mechanism would be tricky and Mio or Aleron himself would have to figure out how to tie it in...

He nodded. "My cells recharge, but not instantly. Of course you have me on that. The only problem is having to go and get said ammo." he replied to Miya. Sure, they could be re-used. But that meant getting real close to what they could only think was dead, and away from where was safe.
To Misha, he looked at his weapon. "A Laser? Drains cell-power too quickly. I contemplated it, but bursts take up less energy then constant production unless it's recycling, which is difficult to make small. As for your ammo though, that's about 1500 shots more then any of our weapons, already loaded. It's good all-around. We're lucky to have it."

Mio was just listening in while watching the radar on his suit as they moved deeper into the station. He almost responds to Aleron's quip about a rocket arm-cannon that he had actually been working on such a thing, but it wasn't finished yet.
The conversation about the rivet gun does cause him to pipe in though. "Actually, I was thinking that, with a little modification, I could turn the rivet gun into a defensive turret sort of thing, particularly if it's set up next to a coolant line to help preserve rapid-fire functionality."
The portion of hallway they were walking down now only had flickering lights that spent more time off than on. The ambient hum of machinery that ran the various pipes and conduits was the only sound they could hear now; the thing pounding at the hangar doors had apparently given up for now, and the things farther in seemed to have quieted down again...

Aleron slowly looked around, aiming his flashlight around. "I hope someone here believes in luck, or this is the calm before the hellstorm..." he said quietly.

"Well, even if it might be a bit dangerous, at least I know I won't run out of ammo," she stated simply and casually, showing she was trying to end the discussion on an optimistic note.
As they continued on, with the lights flickering and the noises ceasing, Miya's senses went on high alert. Her eyes, slightly better in the dark than a human's, were constantly searching for even the slightest movement and her ears strained for even the most minute sound of life other than her crew. "Definitely the calm before..." she softly replied to Aleron's comment, "...predators are always quietest right before they strike."
