Zelexia Freya_Crescent We could do another Lai Lai's meetup. Maybe a lunch meetup this time, then mall for a few hours, then Lolicup to spend even more dinero on an expensive drink, but mostly so we can set up board games until they close? xd Ooooh, that might be fun, but I'm quite very broke right now, so it will have to wait a while. crying I wouldn't mind having another meet-up like the one at purplekitty's place either, but my apartment is out of the question until I get this mess in order. sweatdrop I'm down for lunch meetup at Lai Lai's. Lunch meetups work a little better with my schedule. I'm also down for another one like the last meetup. Maybe I'll have you guys over to my place one day...but it's like on the other side of Orlando. razz Also, what's Lolicup? And boardgames until they close? When do they close? eek

I want to go to the Farmer's Market at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando and I'd love to have some company!
It's 10am to 4pm every Sunday. Parking Meters are Free on Sunday, there's no cost for admission, and they sell a lot of neat stuff there. 3nodding
It's right down the street from my apartment, and it's easy to get there by bus, but it's just not as much fun to go by myself. Almost any weekend is good for me, if anyone's interested in going please let me know and we can pick a Sunday to go together.

I was just at Lake Eola yesterday but I was there for some art education thing they were doing to help my neighbor who's an art teacher. I didn't see the farmer's market thing though. I wonder if they still do it even when other things are going on? I didn't know meters were free on Sunday. I parked far away and walked to avoid meters. >_<

Sometimes they'll cancel the Farmer's Market if there's a really big event going on, but most Sundays it's open. It's situated near the intersection of S Osceola Ave and E Central Blvd, on the opposite side of the Lake from the Amphitheater. It's kind of easy to overlook if you don't know what you're looking for. TheRob What's at the Farmer's Market? Vegetables? ninja The Farmer's Market has fresh produce, but that's not all they have to offer. A lot of local entrepreneurs sell handicrafts, baked goods, homemade soaps and scents, and other neat things. They have artists there selling paintings and prints. They even have a beer garden and live bands. It's like a small festival every Sunday.
