SoulShard It's a dragon....it'd become quite intelligent quite fast.You'd find you were raising a friend on mutual agreement.....which is funny,on this subject.Under The Master's clean surface and control and all that fun stuff,he's bound by the same biological bonds as other things....so whoever attacks his egg is screwed beyond compare.......
