"Captain with all due respect, we're in a rush and talking nice doesn't exactly get people moving as fast as necessary." he replied. What, had she never been in an emergency situation with people taking time they didn't have?

"Hey, I'm comin'! Sheesh, you think I don't know how urgent the situation is, Aleron?! Would you rather I be a minute early or actually able to defend myself?" she said quickly over the comm. link, mild irritation in her voice. It was understandable why he was rushing her, but did he have to be so rude without even asking why she was taking a little extra longer...perhaps find out if it was worth the extra time or not...?
As she got within sight of the airlock, it could be seen that she was running quite quickly, though her breathing was steady. There were some advantages to being part elf. "I'm here," she said simply when she got within normal speaking distance of Aleron.

"I know how to handle my subordinates, Lieutenant. And I know how to handle emergency situations. I have my rank for a reason," she says, bringing his words back to haunt him. Snapping at her subordinates might make them move faster, but then they still took more time as it only made them panicky and shaky. They tended to become clumsier and that took them more time to do what they needed to. It really served no purpose, in the end, other than to make them nervous in their commander's presence. And doing one's work was always harder when that was so.

"Sorry, captain. My squad tends to be taught to stay cool under pressure and such and work at their best under high stress levels. I'm still getting used to being with a new team, sir, much less with non-militant units." he answered firmly. He turned and looked to Miya. "Get moving." he ordered sternly, pointing out toward the hall. "And watch it." he added. Turning his attention to the comm, he spoke. "Mio! Almost ready?"

((Sorry, the niece has been visiting this weekend and I'm still trying to get rid of my current headache, hence my slow response here.))
Sonja grits her teeth at Aleron's mannerisms and follows Miya. Her long legs allow her to keep up without her having to really push herself much.
"I'm on my way out now!" Mio says, and in moments appears at the airlock. He pauses only long enough to send a command to the Walkurst to shut the outer airlock door as well as the inner one before heading for the hallway. The rivet gun was slowing him down some, but it would be handy to have along; however, that didn't mean he wasn't going to drop it if he actually needed to move fast.

Misha watched the surroundings carefully her visor up so she could see in the low light much easier, "Aleron think you can move faster with that thing than Mio can?" She was able to hear it over the com as Mio moved, she knew it all too well ahving grown up around it. "if you can get it to me I'll carry it I've still got the harness on for it, and it won't slow me down too much this I can promise." She knew her strength and her running ability, she wouldn't slow much since she was probably the fastest here and she knew she could run up to atleast 2 hours with that thing. She was actually glad Mio thought to bring it along...

"Don't need to tell me twice," Miya muttered in response to Aleron's warning, having rolled her eyes at his order, and headed off in the direction he indicated. The second Lieutenant was starting to get on the medic's nerves, though she knew she'd just have to bear with it as he was her superior rank-wise. Speckled blue eyes scanned the area and pointed ears stayed alert as the half-elf tried to catch any sound or movement that might be a threat.

"Lieutenant!" Aurora snaps at Aleron when he snaps at Miya. "Unless you have something productive to add, not another word out of you! I will be the ones to give the orders, understood!?"

Aleron gritted his teeth. "Captain, you misunderstand.." he managed, holding his composure as he turned to follow after them. "A 'move' command is incentive, and to watch it, last time I had checked, was a way of saying be careful and don't get killed." he replied. They were all getting on his nerves. Aside from Mio and Misha.
"Misha, the Rivet gun? I doubt it...If anything I think his Cathian would give him a bit of a boost. As my equipment shows, I'm light-arms and armor." he replied to her, able to be much cooler with her.

Misha looks at the Captain, "You may say no but, permission to meet them so they can get to this position faster? You know I can carry that with no prob..." Misha's blue eyes watching the Captain a moment knowing the tesion was high and she may want Misha to stay but she knew that the Captain would also be considering this or atleast hoped the Captain was considering this...

Misha nods her eyes locking with the Captain's a moment, the look and her voice relfected the thought well, "Yes ma'am. With my life if need be..." Misha bolted off at full sprint her heavy foot falls and extremely long powerful legs carried her at great speeed, anyone at the airlock would see this amazon of a woman in her red armor come speeding out of the distance. She would leap on the run up to the airlock and grip the sides of it to steady herself as she came in...

((Er, Misha, Mio is already en route to where she and aurora and Gin were, so she'd be meeting the group coming form the ship part-way))
Mio would see the Lycan running at them and spurt of adrenaline courses through him. Had something happened up front that didn't register on his HUD and the comm lines? However, it was only a split-moment before he realizes she was coming to join them, even if he had heard the chatter over the line.
The Rivet Gun wasn't the only thing he was laden down with, of course, he ad several bags of stuff with their straps draped over his shoulders. The Rivet Gun was definitely the heaviest thing he was carrying though, and he would certainly have no problems running once Misha takes it.

Misha would come to a sliding halt infront of Mio and hold her hands out, "if you please." Taking it from him carefully so he doesn't drop anything else she straps it onto the harness and moves to the back of the line, "Keep moving I'll cover your arses!" Her voice was strong but not commanding just informing...

Aleron turned to his wrist-weapon, dialing in commands. This time it was for systems he had running to keep his plants fed and the lab locked off completely. Last thing they needed was to come back to an infected ship...
