"Lost in this world of love and war."  Demetri jumped awake as Jethrow knocked on his door, and he quickly opened it, but looked down the empty hallway. Frowning, he shut his door behind him, walking down the hall to Lunora's room. His hand was poised to knock, but he was torn. Finally, he just opened the door, creeping in quietly and heading to where Lunora was curled on her bed. He didn't say anything, just sat down beside her and stroked her hair, a soft smile on his face. If everything were as it seemed, life would be a dream.  Anya winced slightly, turning to she faced Searan and could hide her wings against her back. "I fell," she said quietly, her tone telling him everything he would need to know about how she felt at the moment. I am but a dragon.  "I'm sure I deserve that," Searan said quietly, in reference to her tone. He looked down a little, not sure what else to say. "I know that I can't take back whatever your uncle said as me. I just hope you'll understand that that wasn't me. Please, Anya. I...." he hesitated, remembering what Luke had said. "I love you."

Lunora slept lightly in her bed, though not hearing Demetri enter. She stirred a little, feeling him stroke her hair, it making her smile a bit as she slept. Though she was almost awake, she decided to let Demetri and herself enjoy this moment, her slipping into a nice deep sleep.

[OOC:] I went ahead and did a time skip, I hope that's okay. sweatdrop "Lost in this world of love and war." Though it had been a few long hours, Demetri was still just sitting by Lunora, stroking her hair and holding her to him. How had he entertained himself during that time? He would never admit so, but he'd been picturing their future in depth. He'd been visualizing what their kids would look like, how many there'd be, and stuff like that. Of course, while it was quiet and it was just he and Lunora, he had no problems imagining such things. There is much to learn in this world. To learn it, you must realize you know nothing.  Jethrow hadn't heard anything from Anya or Searan for a while, so finally, he decided to check in on them. Carefully, he opened Anya's door. The first thing he noticed was the dying fire in her fireplace, and the second was the lack of presence of a faerie and a dragon. Bewildered, he walked over to the window, which was wide open. He scanned the lawn of the castle, and caught sight of the little cranny that Anya always hid in. Sure enough, the two of them were sitting down there, just talking. With a satisfied smile, the wizard headed back to his study.

After those long hours, the fox began to wake, stirring softly. She could feel her hair still being stroked and her being up against the warmth of another. She opened her eyes a little and looked up to see Demetri there. "Hey. How long was I asleep?"

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri stroked her hair some more and leaned down to kiss Lunora's forehead. "Long enough for me to be positively tortured by your words. A few months? Really? Do you realize how cryptic that is?" He trailed his fingers down her face and neck, brushing her hair away from her shoulder and kissing her nose.

Lunora just chuckled lightly at Demetri's words. She simply took one of his hands and placed it on the obi over her stomach. "Here's a clue." she whispered to him, kissing his cheek.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri's expression changed from dying of curiosity to positively puzzled as Lunora chuckled and moved his hand. The feeling of her kiss on his cheek seemed to spur his mind to working, and immediately he flushed white. "N-no way... Not... Not after one night," he stammered, eyes wide as he looked down at Lunora. "How can you be sure?"

Lunora laughed softly, watching Demetri seem to panic. She placed a finger over his lips to make him be quiet. "Sometimes it only takes one night. And if you were a demon, you could tell my scent has changed. Many in the pack noticed too." she said, relaxing in his lap.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri was shocked at just how calm Lunora could be about this whole situation. Was she truly aware of just how improper it was? Well, of course she would be; Demetri knew he was a little outdated himself. He'd been in a prison for how many centuries? He sighed a little and took one of Lunora's hands in his. "I was going to wait for a better moment, but I don't think there's any better," he said softly, gently moving Lunora from his lap and kneeling by the side of her bed, looking up at her. "Lunora, will you marry me?" [OOC:] I was beaming as I wrote that, even if it's not very long and detailed ^o^

Lunora watched Demetri as he took one of her hands and got down on the floor and proposed. She only laughed some, a sweeter laugh. "You know that would have been much more entertaining in front of our brothers, but of course. I will marry you, Demetri." she said, playing with a little bit of his black hair.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri rolled his eyes as she spoke, and with a playful smirk launched himself at Lunora, carefully tackling her to the bed, as much of an oxymoron as that is. He nuzzled his nose against her neck and kissed her, smiling. "Would this have been more entertaining in front of our brothers?" he teased, pulling his head up to look into her eyes.

Lunora gasped a little as Demetri tackled her to the bed and nuzzled her neck. "Very funny Demi. Would this too?" she asked, grabbing his short collar and pulling him into a deep kiss.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri kissed her back and put his hands by her head. When he felt the need for air, he pulled back and smiled at her, breathing hard. "Actually, it might be," he said jokingly, kissing her cheek before sitting up and pulling her into his lap. "How angry do you think your brother is gonna be?"

"He'll be blowing a gasket." the fox laughed, nestling up into the wizard. She wrapped her arms around his neck and just decided to relax there. In the arms of her fiancee. Though she wondered how Luke would react. Maybe he;d jsut pass out for a few moments.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri chuckled, holding Lunora tight to him. He took her hand again, staring at the empty spot on her finger. He'd neglected to actually buy a ring, but improvisation was one of his skills. Smiling, he closed his eyes, and her finger began to glow. After a few moment,s he opened his eyes again, and there on her finger was now a silver ring with a clear stone that had what seemed to be an orange fire blazing inside it.
