Someone make it tomorrow already so I can see my boy.

For the record, I love Fatal for figuring out there's an English (Pirate) setting on Facebook...this is hilarious. Poking is skewering with your cutlass. =D =D =D

Aivi: I agree with you, if the lyrics and music don't have a good balance than the song is crappy.

Jenny: Arr!! Ye be right ye wrench!! pirate The 6 turns o' ye hourglass is an awesome way to tell time. pirate

....Wait, wait, here's a better one. "14 shots of rum ago". xd rofl

I think I should start telling time like that. lol

And this person thought they were so clever...

So, I guess the poll creator's aim was to make pro-choicers seem like horrible hypocrites and maybe cause them to do some deep soul-searching to come to see things their way? Well... too bad. I do believe in physician-assisted suicide.

They're flip-sides of the same coin, really. An unborn baby won't regret not having lived because they don't know what it's like. An elderly person whose body has betrayed them to the point they are completely dependent on others won't regret dying because they already did their living and what they are experiencing at the time they would decide on suicide would not constitute "living."

So I guess in the end, what they really proved (to me, at least) is that they're a presumptuous a**.

...I guess I could have actually made a topic out of this, but I'm not maintaining one on godamned politics. People who use cheap gimmicks like this just piss me off.

*sigh* What great news this is. sad
A family friend of mine had a heart attack on the 30th on his birthday, and had to have a 5 way bypass emergency surgery and in the midst of the surgery he also had a stroke.
A great deal of feeling/control has returned to his right side thus far so every thing looks good right now despite the two attacks, so that's good news. 8/

He'll return home tomorrow with the luck that his daughter is a registered nurse so that good too.

But his daughter had to quit both her red cross job and homeland security job in order to take over the gun shop fully for her dad. Which is not allowed to be known to him until long after he's recovered.

Finally made him to stop smoking though even though he was on his way of stopping.
And his gunshop and home are now smoke free as of tomorrow, which is good. I'll finally stop with my second hand smoking because of that. lol

Bad news though was that several times he was almost lost, and I can only imagine how tough it was for his daughter hearing the news of what was happening at the time with her medical knowledge. sad

Finally though, here's a bit of a funny at least for those that know him, a bit of a background first though.
Craig has been a gunshop owner since the 70's and also has had a concealed carry permit for just as long so he's almost never been with his firearm. Only times are government buildings and airports and schools are when he's not carrying.
When he went to the hospital to get a check up on what was thought to be a heart attack(which turned out to be so) his daughter took his gun away from him because of being in a hospital.

Well a few days after the attacks his granddaughter's boyfriend dropped of his girlfriend and went to work during his lunch break he stopped in to visit.
Finding only family in the hospital room and no doctors or nurses around the boyfriend creeped into the room pulled the curtain closed and pulled out a pellet gun giving it to craig and saying "Use this on the doctors or nurses if they give you any trouble."

Craig starting laughing so hard(hurting though) he had to hold his chest in because his chest was cracked. Best thing to give the man to make him fill better. lol

And that's all I have to say. confused

biting my tongue so much on the train home with my ex-tanning-salon-employee new work friend. she honestly believes there's no research proving tanning beds have any link to cancer. well, specifically tanning BEDS. she might have to give in on the just tanning part. but SO MUCH MISINFORMATION coming out of her mouth. godddddd.

That's so horrible, Ryo! But what a great thing for the boyfriend to do. (: haha How is he doing?

P-girl: I tend to just let people ramble on and on while I ignore them. They usually like that. haha

It is isn't it? I'd want that done for me if I got stuck in a hospital mainly cause I hate hospitals with a passion. evil

Recovering, he's good enough to come one as of tomorrow with care from his daughter who's an RN.
He won't be allowed visitors other then family for some time, but by the way things are going he'll certainly have visitors by this weekend.

That reminds me I need to draw that picture for a get-well card.. A family friend of mine also had a heart attack recently. Five blocked arteries. Three over 90% blocked. It's a miracle he lived.

He probably wouldn't have if his girlfriend hadn't put him on a diet a few years ago and been there when he had the heart attack. I'm not sure what kind of training she has (she's a massotherapist, now), but she started CPR immediately...

I thought I'd draw him a shitty picture of a scuba diver getting dumped on a forest fire. We're terrible people, but we had a good laugh over it (apparently this actually happened). "At least you're not this guy."

Most expensive book I ever had to buy was 45€. Not sure how much that is in dollars, but it's less than 140$ D:

Did you check for used copies too? Maybe on Craigslist?

@Tom - you should check Amazon and Ebay as well. There are also a lot of websites out there devoted to cheap college textbooks, but I would place an order for those soon if you want to get them in time for class.

My most expensive textbook was a $200 chemistry book. (Yeah, holy ********.) I am currently using it as a booster seat on my piano bench, because I can only sell it back for $15, since schools have upgraded to the new edition.
