There are better items coming. They are all set, just haven't added them up yet.

There are three ways to obtain rare items.
1. Buy, but can only get one.
2. Gift from mods for some reason.
3. Kill someone and take it. But they probably won't like you after

Sera: Na because that leaves it open to people that will be like hold this for me while a buy another item. I'll allow items to be sold back though, for 3/4th the value. Then another item can be bought.
