he dropped to the ground and started sniffing madly. he was determined to find a clue somewhere and crawled aong the ground until he found one.

Mari watched him and gave a sigh. "Matt, we might have to wait a bit. You have to understand that." She stood still and kept watching him.

he let out a sigh but kept sniffing. he still tried to find something. he found one of her footsteps and sniffed it. there was something wierd about this one and kept sniffing it.

She kept watching him and didn't know what to say, so she leaned against a tree and watched him.

he got up a bit and looked at the spot curiously. "theres something wired here. it's her scent but theres something else. i'm not sure what."

She shrugged and didn't know what to make of it either. "Well, I don't have the sense of smell that you do, so I don't know what to say about it."

he lifted his finger and looked at her. "this brings me to one option. she might have a partner."

She gave him a dull stare. "I don't think Devana would have anyone that would help her... She's a few knives short of a kitchen drawer on the sanity scale."

he kept thinking and rubbing his chin. he thought back to what happened. devana had said she'd do anything to win. would she go as far as to seek out help? it didn't seem likely, considering her personality but right now anything could happen.

Mari was still leaning against the tree and looked towards the ground, thinking to herself. She didn't know what was going on and doubted that Devana would have someone helping her. It really wasn't like her, unless she was using the person.

She didn't really know what to do about this situation either. It was going to be a headache to find her.

he sniffed a bit and noticed there was a slight trail in where devana had gone. he raised his eyebrow a bit. "it seems that devana was somewhere else before she came here. there a trail. maybe if we follow it we might figure something out."
