Yawning, Adam headed down from his room for the first time in over a day. Between the roof over his head and the security of his wards, he'd let himself truly relax for the first time in a long while, and had slept for over twelve hours on his first night. The time after that was spent studying and practicing, eating what remained of his travel rations rather than leave for real food. A second night's sleep, about as long as the first, and a morning's shower, and he finaly felt as if he'd gotten rid of the last of the weariness of travel.
Now it was morning, and time for breakfast. Armed as he was the night before, Adam looked around the common room for a member of the serving staff...

She stepped into the inn thinking on a few things. Today was the day of the fight, if she wasn't mistaken. But she wasn't aware of a time. She sat down at one of the tables, noticing the man Solis was speaking with earlier. She gave him a polite nod, checking to make sure she had everything she might require today. She had no way of knowing how today would go.
She had her shades on, a sign that maybe she wanted to observe without so much as being observed, but a new person in town, she remembered how it had been when she had first come there, smiling lightly as she waited to see if perhaps anyone would be serving that morning as well. If not, maybe she'd have to go home and cook. A thought she wasn't looking forward to.

Adam gave a nod to the woman who just entered the tavern, then finaly went back twards the kitchen before he finaly found a server. Getting an order for his food placed, Adam came back to the central room and took a seat to wait for his meal and plan the day ahead.

She watched what he had done, doing the same afterwards. A light breakfast and then she would go see what all the hype was about. She fidgeted around with a cup of tea she had gotten, pouring an insane amount of sugar in and stirring it even as she politely set the spoon down on the side of the saucer.
A visible symbol could be seen around her neck, not a cross. Simply a golden sun with a face upon it.

Adam glanced at the woman's symbol, then shrugged, returning to his meal. He'd met pagans before, and allthough they were misguided, in general they were good people... As gentiles went. Granted, usualy they wore moons, rather than suns, but hey, variety is the spice of life.

She saw him looking over at her for a moment and then shrugging, wondering perhaps what had passed through his mind. Although, both of their breakfasts had come, She started to butter and place the grape jelly automatically on her toast.
"Sorry to disturb you, quite curious actually to why you just did what you did." She hadn't been aware her necklace wasn't tucked in as always. Having not been fully awake when she left home that morning.

"Mmmm?" Adam looked up to her slightly confused, mouth full of food. He forced himself to finish chewing before he swollowed, then he answered.
"What do you mean?"

"I don't know exactly. You looked over in my direction and shrugged. Was just curious as to why you had that sort of reaction." She had a slightly amused expression on her face, always interesting to see why people did what they did. Maybe he didn't like her style of dress or something. She wouldn't hold it against him, she just had to know, else it would linger on her mind for awhile.

"The sun." He pointed to her necklace with the flat end of his fork, knowing the tines would be impolite. "I don't see things like that all to often, and I've traveled quite a bit. Normaly moons, especialy on women. Very rarely the sun."

She looked down, almost half expecting for it to be tucked in, when she saw it hadn't been. She smiled apoligetically as she held the symbol in the palm of her hand. "Oh, this.."
"This is a holy symbol. I am a cleric of Pelor. He deals more with helping and assisting those in need moreso than anything." She let him see it before she tucked it back in. "I don't like to actually flash that around, people tend to get the ...wrong idea about what it is I do." She offered an apoligetic smile, wondering another question.
"Why moons? Followers of a moon god or goddess? I haven't had time to study other religions actually. Nor did my mentor actually want me to. What we do is important. At least in my own eyes."
She saw Lazik sitting up, offering him a light smile before she ate a forkful of eggs mixed in with tidbits of ham.

"As I thought, Pagan..." Adam said that quietly to himself, then shrugged with a faint grin. "Oh, you know, Wiccans and all that. Aspects of the moon and so forth. Never realy made much sense to me, personaly. Catholics, I can understand. Shintoists and Buddists too. Even Muslems a bit. But Wiccans? Nah..." Adam just shrugged with a grin, eating a bit more of his steak and eggs.

She nodded back over to Lazik, catching what this man was saying with a slight clatter of her fork off of the edge of the plate. "Everybody is entitled to their own beliefs."
She picked up her fork, regaining her composure. "I do as I feel is correct. Pelor deals with people moreso than other religions. Looks out for its people as well as others. But again, I don't like to preach much. Not my job to."
She gave a lighthearted sigh, still working on her breakfast. Varying opinions was something she was used to. "I'm sure these wiccans..have their own reasons as well." She was very open minded for being one of the cloth.
