I want a microsledge, but it's made of pseudoscience to the point I couldn't justify using it.

Dante Decker Making a slick double barreled (probably over under, cause that's nifty) big bore in say 20-25mm with a bandoleer of all sorts of specialty ammo I can see. I cant say I see Dante making a hand held 40mm AGL, I just don't see him accepting on the spot. Maybe as a government contract, but even then hed be left going 'uh... wha?' Edit: oh and Pfish I followed your naming suggestion. Oh, definitely - 40mm is far too big for even Ebris. Now you've got me damn interested with that idea - the over under sounds awesome. I would definitely want to use that kind of weapon for Ebris. Would it be possible to commission something like that?

I've always wanted to give one of my characters a overly-ornate and lavishly decorated pistol that's called the Narcissist. Just some single shot hand cannon that shoots through schools.
A microsledge is a weapon from Fallout that's probably the best melee weapon in the game that's not a ripper or plainly large hammer. It's a club that somehow hits disproportionately hard for how hard it was swung. The description says somethign about 'kinetic storage cells' on the end that make it hit really hard.
I cut somebody in half with it once.

Ya, its definitely possible. You'd have to give Dante a rough description but he can go from there pretty easily.
Fen: Oh, lulz

Sweet. Now, the idea you had was something like a carbine or a shotgun and not a pistol, right? Since 20-25mm would probably be a bit much for a normal pistol, unless you think otherwise.
Also, what kind of propulsion would be most interesting to develop? Something more traditional or something more akin to a bolt?
Oh, and when would it be convenient for you for Ebris to show up at his shop? It's in Latent, right?

Actually if its Bolt-style, you could do a pistol due to the relatively minor recoil. Something akin to a Pistol-gripped Sawed-off Over-under shotgun. I mean we could do a carbine or such, but you seem to prefer the pistol style.
Shop actually has its own Location thread in the the Eastern section, but yes the shop itself is in Latent. Any time would be convenient really, the one problem being that for a custom (which this would be) you'd need a referral by a past customer...
Though considering you won HoH 08 Id definitely know of you, so that may be of secondary concern.

That sounds perfect, actually. I'll write up a post today!
And even though Ebris did win HoH '08, it'd still be good to have some actual references. Would the work you've done for Ebag (Chainsword) and Fen (Gauss Pistol) count at all for an IC reference?

Those were both OOC commissions actually. So Dante doesn't actually know either of them, sorry.

Damn.
I mean, I could go off the fact that Ebris is the HoH '08 champion, but I'd prefer to have it as realistically done as possible.
Who're some of the folk that have recently commissioned Dante IC? Gonna see if Ebris might have any connections to them.

Perfect - Shouyin!
They were part of Kitten Hats in Unity. He used his vibro hatchet quite a bit during the event, and it was a fine piece of equipment, so I'd imagine he'd inquire into it and find out about Decker Arsenal.
