My throat feels like someone took a sheet of sandpaper to it.

God, I hope not. I've woken up feeling absolutely terrible for the past... almost a week now. It seems to get better during the day, but every morning is the same. It's basically the same as just before I had the flu. So... it's why I'm worried.

Thanks. I think work is bringing me down, that much is obvious. But I don't really have the choice of taking extra time off, since there's only the two of us at the service desk.
So I can't call in and have someone work my shift if I feel like crap.

And I do mean a few weeks.

Well, when I had the flu earlier this year (January) I was coughing for about two weeks after that. So it's really more like, if I do have something, I wish it would just make me sick enough to not be able to go to work so I could be done with it.
Speaking of work. Have to make my lunch and get out of here so I can be on time. Holidays are not fun days to work.

It's basically the same as just before I had the flu. So... it's why I'm worried. Have sage tea with honey and fresh ginger every morning (gurgle and drink it). Should help at least a bit. Also, raw onions are good when you feel you're about to catch a flu. Otherwise, it could also be some form of allergy...maybe?
