I got kidapped for Mother's Day, Saturday morning. smile Spent the early afternoon on my best friend's boat, with my other bestie from Alameda, then a walk in downtown Lodi. Yesterday was a sneak premiere of Letters To Juliet (good movie, and I'm not a chick flick fan) and then Rock Band and Mario Kart until midnight. biggrin I love being kidnapped. mrgreen I get to have another Mother's Day tomorrow, with my daughter, since she worked all weekend (graveyard, and slept all day).

What a great kid- ... er ... mom-napping!
We're extending Mom's Day here too. I had to work at the school most of yesterday afternoon, striking the play's sets. It was a great closing night Saturday and we ended up with lots of help yesterday. Still took 6 hours ... but it could have been a lot longer without the extra help.
Our younger son is home for the summer from grad/vet med school. He and the hubby are taking me out to dinner tonight. And we're celebrating Sean's grades too. He got a 3.2 this semester. Yay! biggrin
I've finally moved all the adults out of reserved parking and into in their respective Class posts. Will get the April stats together and post them later tonight ... this time for sure! And about time too since it's already mid-May. SORRY! redface

I'm thinking maybe we should ask if there are any volunteer helpers. Even though I'm not working, it appears that I'm busier now than when I was employed. Kinda nice though. Glad the play went well. I know how busy those are. My best friend was in drama in high school. They were doing Fools, and she was the yarn lady. At one point, she has to try to sell yarn to the audience, sorta. On the 3rd night, I had the idea to get all of us to hold up a dollar bill. ALMOST got her to break character, but she didn't. Of course, she slugged me after the fact. The teach told me I should have thrown coins on the stage. He's as mean as I am. hahahahaha We had a good week. Every night was just a little different/better than the night before.

Yep, we definitely need help, especially since I'll be leaving for Ireland on Saturday ... *crossing fingers for the volcano to behave itself*. Will be gone from Saturday, May 15, through Wednesday, May 26 (four days of that is in the air ... ugh!).
Any takers? biggrin
