Well, I can be a fast poster too. IF people didn't post during the ungodly hours of the EST morning. stressed
If you guys want to wait, Rain will be up eventually and you guys will have to give plot dump to not one, but TWO of my characters! *hands on hips* BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! As soon as someone indicates it's the morning (or when everyone has left IC), Rain'll be up; otherwise, he's in stasis. 3nodding

Huh.
I don't recall, but I generally don't pride myself on my memory. Anyway, I'm certainly not going to turn you down, though I may attempt to pay you in some form whenever I get around to taking you up on it... though be it quite possibly less than I think your commissions would generally run. sweatdrop

well if you don't have the Gold there are always quests to be run... animals to slaughter, parts to get... I mean the value of Dragon parts these days is atrocious.
I'm also trying to get people to do a bit of adventuring and hunting in the wildernesses, which I think is kind of overlooked by a lot of people. Make it valuable and people might just do it I suppose.

I meant more in Gaian gold, but that works too. Kael certainly would not have the money to commission a smith as highly esteemed as Dante seems to be.
That just makes me imagine something like what happens in the Monster Hunter games. Which Kael might take some practice to get used to- quite a bit of it- but I think it'd be a blast. I had a lot of fun scavenging and taking the big things down and trying to put all the pieces together to get something I could take down a wyvern with.
But, I was actually trying to do one of the quests that I'm not worrying might just need to be time paradox'd out and finished later. Considering Kael's parents' occupations and his job helping them out in their shop way back when, I've figured he'd have a good head for mechanical things and some basic skills and insight into that kind of thing; a promising novice, and some mild knowledge for archaeological type things, and I've been looking for means to use those. So far just the one dig quest, and his ability to keep his bike road worthy with what little cash he has.
Edit: Oh crap! Class time snuck up on me.

Well I usually take effort as equal currency tbh, if someones really willing to put in the effort and dedication in storyline time I'm really not about to leave them in the cold because they don't have any pixel monies...
Besides there's all sorts of neat beasts people can imagine out there, and the more they do the more fun stuff I have to play with... So ya people hunting is profitable to me just as much as it is to them. Besides even without commissioning a new weapon people can make some IC gold by selling hides and such.
Have fun @ class.

Omnomnom. -crunches rat bones-
HEY.
Would someone be willing to teach me how to be an uber-spar-partner?
Send me a PM or something.
Saiya's a fighter with emphasis on reflex and speed rather than power or defense, but I'll need some experience with magic-users, too, for the next character I'm setting up.

If I didn't have so much on my plate right now I really would, I'm out of practice fighting wise. Best of luck though.

Dante Decker If I didn't have so much on my plate right now I really would, I'm out of practice fighting wise. Best of luck though.
Saiya has been watching some of the fights on Barton Forums and Leviathan-- but it's really difficult to learn anything from just watching. Because Saiya keeps thinking, 'Well, Saiya wouldn't have done that!' but it's impossible to know whether her reaction would have been a good move unless she was actually participating in the fight. She's kind of interested in the HoH 2009 right now.
Saiya also needs to stop referring to herself in the third person.
But thank you. ^^;;
